I’m currently having a trouble with threat in dungeons I’m stating pulls on trash with death and decay before I get there of course and running up hitting blood boil should I just heart strike instead? Could it be because I don’t have the talent that slows when mobs in death and decay?
if u are moving and ur dds full blasting its their fault, as long as fucking monster rotate or its not a position u fight one dds have not to use their full kit into pulls
90% of the time it's on the DPS. They see you pull and full blast from the start. I always tell them to wait with blasting for 2 seconds AFTER I actually reach the pack. Give me 1 global while in range at least before you start blasting. BDK's are slow af and have to use globals on defensive early on the pull because we don't have RP yet.
You should be planning to have drw to start all your pulls. If not, open with slappy hands or bonestorm or tombstone, something that does a good pulse of aoe damage on pull. While there are certainly dps who are stupid and will actually go passed you to hit stuff before youre even in the pack, a good tank plans their abilities to allow themselves and their group to optomize their dps. If you watch yoda he often uses slappy hands early to establish threat while hes running through packs to grab the next pack and its often enough to allow his dps to start ramping and also it gets the pull together faster which is optimal
Even though it looks like a frostwyrm animation, it's actually the "Frostwhelp's Aid" talent, that spawns when frost dk presses "Pillar of Frost". Either that or the frost dk had one of the mobs of the to-be-added group in target, and focus gripped something else (which will aggro his target, regardless where it stands). Tettles had a video about that. But all 3 options might work.
