can I just say how glad I am that you are making these videos?? Not only do we get to be a part of your everyday life, which is so cool, we also get to be part of the whole moving-experince. It has really taught me that even though it seems easy to move out on my own, it's alot of work and not just something you can do over night. Thank you for being so great and teaching me so much Ingrid, your are a true source of inspiration!
I absolutely love these vlogs. They let me be nosy, and see all the mundane details that I find so fascinating. Thanks for the Tiny Tower addiction, Ingrid!
with the bubble bars crumble off little chunks under the running water until you get as many bubbles as you want, some people use a whole bar some use a quarter (the same as liquid bubble bath - everyone likes a different amount). with the bath bombs you can use all or half or less if you really want. most people use half so they get two baths out of one.
Ingrid, I got the cupcake mask you recommended the other day! My brother and I used it that night and were so amazed! You're right, it's amazing on breakouts and calming your skin. Thanks girl
I'm not gonna lie, I am really enjoying going back and watching your vlogs from when you moved into your apartment....I just now have the ability to move out so it's kind of fun to watch!
omg i'm so happy for you! your little home is coming along so well and you seem very happy! it makes me really excited to make my own home when i'm older! merry christmas!
When I use bubble bars I cut them in 1"x1" pieces then put them in an old nylon stocking then I tie the stocking to the faucet so the bubble bar chunk is right under the flowing water. It will create way more bubbles because if you use it directly it will leave chunks at the button that won't be able to bubble.
I join in with the hand numbers & the intro song every time now :D I'll miss your Vlogmas so much, Ingrid! I love Lush so much! With the bath bombs I drop the whole thing into a full bath but crumble the bubble bars under running water & get about 3-4 uses out of each one :)
I use half for bubble bars..or whole if i want my bathroom to be filled with bubbles>< and i use the whole bath bombs cuz...its also fun to watch the whole thing fizz up!!:D i am a huge lush lover too~~~
I buy lots of Lush stuff for my kids...I usually use 1/2 of the bubble bars and the bath bombs. If you try to cut the bathbombs along the seam, it usually successfully separates most of the time. If you have really dry skin the butterball bath bombs are amazing! (I bought them when my son was in swimming lessons ~ the chlorine in the pool dried his skin out like crazy). The only problem with the glitter bubble bar is cleaning it out of the tub! :)
bath bombs- whole thing bubble bars- break up I LOVE SUNNY SIDE. it actually turns your water a gold color not really sparkly since the glitter disolves which is nice since you dont leave the bath covered in glitter. :D I also love the porridge scent too. though it gets oats all over my bath :( and i feel like i use it faster than lush's other soaps :(. [love your vlogmas videos :)]
Bubble bars can be broken up into several baths, a little goes a long way. The bombs can't be broken up unfortunately...but the melts can be. I'm so jealous of your enormous Lush collection! I don't have room for all of that...but enjoy, you will become a bathaholic!
Hey, Ingrid! I just wanted to recommend buying air pans if you like baking cookies. They are absolutely amazing. I have never burnt a batch of cookies--even when I purposely cook them longer for those who like crispy cookies.
you use 1/3 of the bubbelbar (and you have to crumble them under the running water) 1/2 of a bathbom (i recemend mixing the bubelbars and the bath melt, btw you only need 1/3 of the bathmelt) xxx
Idfk why, but you're my favorite person on youtube, you're just so genuine, sweet, and charming, you have a very likable personality and i enjoy your videos Ingrid, much love
Lush stuff goes off relle quickly so you shouldn't buy it in bulk. Also, you break of bits of the bubble bars per bath, and crumble it under the running water, you don't just chuck it in. You do chuck in all the bath bombs tho. The preseent shaped one is cool, you put the whole thing in and it goes all diff colours and has a present inside!
Porridge is one of my favourites from Lush. I also love Vanilla in the Mist (discontinued) soap. If you like peppermint and vanilla try the Abombinaball bath bomb. I love it because it is really cute, is very moisturizing, and leaves the water turquoise.
I only split the bath melt's in half and the others I would definitely use the whole thing even though it may seem like so much. Enjoy your lush product's there so luxurious !! Happy holidays
Bath bombs use all at once, if u break them first it will be messy, and of you take it out of the bath half way through it will disintegrate. Bubble bars last about 7-10 baths for me. I just break off a chunk and crumble it under the running water. And finally the melts last 2-3 uses for me. I like to use them after I've already washed my hair. I find if I rinse my hair after using a bath melt it will get a residue. Merry Christmas!
I worked at Lush...use a whole bath bomb (by the time you split it, not only are you frustrated because it's hard to do, but it's just not as cool in the bath) and bubble bars you can definitely cut up. Depending on the size, use 1/2 - 1/4. Happy bathing! :)
Definitely break everything up. Use the melt 3 times- break on the lines. Use the bubble bars at least twice- I break off a small chunk And hold it under running water. If you want more bubble just keep breaking off small Chunks. The cinders an so white go really well together. I would use that size bomb all At once, but the present sized ones I break in half. Hope that helped!
I usually cut or break off the bubble bar and use 1/4 or 1/8 at a time.. they last so much longer that way and you still get lots of bubbles. My fav mask is the Love Lettuce--it's so refreshing!
@Amycakes1 and yeah, i normally crumble the bubble bar under where the tap will run before the water is even running, but you can crumble it under the faucet as it runs. and for the bombs i wait until the bath is full before i chuck it in!
Bath bombs that have the line down the middle are really easy to separate into 2. Put a towel on the ground, then with a flat tip screwdriver choose a part that looks dented along that line. Place the tip of the screwdriver on that, and bang the end with a hammer. The bath bomb should easily fall into 2 perfect pieces. Think there's a video on youtube that shows you how to do it, so go look that up, and good luck!
you can't really use a bath bomb more than once since it starts disolving pretty quickly once you put it in the water, you'll see when you put it in your water! ;) the bubble bars you can break into two or more pieces (depending on their size)! so just break like a little piece off and crumble it under the running water and just keep doing so until you're satisfied with the amount of bubbles in your bath! :) hope this helped! LOVE your little treasure basket ;) lots of love and happy holidays :)
Ingrid, I got the cupcake mask you recommended the other day! My brother and I used it that night and were so amazed! You're right, it's amazing on breakouts and calming your skin. Thanks
bubble bars you should crumble under the faucet until you see the amount of bubbles/color you want. it usually takes about half of a bubble bar for a normal tub
i always try to split my bubble bars into 2 or 3 baths depending on how big of a bar it is. with the bath bombs, i use the whole thing for 1 bath. have fun! lush is the best
the bubble bars must be crumbled under running water (the more pressure the better) in roder to get bubbles and you only need usually 1/3 to 1/2 of a bubble bar
Ingrid, Great video! I love your blogs so much which is unusual for me to enjoy v-logs with so much beauty sense, but yours are done with so much class and style that I actually don't mind so much. Wishing you much more success in the future in continuing updating the world with valuable beauty information. Again, Thank you so much for the v-log.
Bath bombs are really difficult to break and only use part, but it is possible! They're meant to be a one use item. And the bubble bars should be easy to break up. I think I use the comforter for about 4 or 5 baths? Enjoy the bath melt, love that one!
I use whole bath bombs. The bubble bars I just break up into chunks, and instead of crumbling like LUSH says, I hold a big chunk under running water. That prevents most of the little pieces from settling in the bottom of the tub. You should try the Oatifix face mask - it reminds me a lot of Porridge in the scent department, and is very scrubby but moisturizing at the same time.
I just wanted to let you know that after your recommendation I went out and bought the cupcake mast and LOVED it!!!! It pretty much cleared up my face within two uses!! And I use half a bath bomb by by hammering a screw driver thingy into the center of it. I also cut the bubble bars into halves of thirds:)
my sister in law and i love Lush products! they are amazing! i know she really likes the love lettuce face mask and the cupcake one! keep up the amazing vlogs! i know its alot of work to do them but each video is so appreciated! love ya!
I usually cut the bubble bars into smaller pieces, depending on how may bubbles i want, and then i cut the bath bombs in half at the line where the two halves meet.
On the bath bombs-you use the entire bomb. You can use the bubble bars in 3 parts as well as the bath melts. The bath melts can be mixed with the bubble bars and the bath bombs. Try to mix like scents. Enjoy your goodies.
for bath melts i use a tiny chunk for bath bombs i use the whole thing for bubble bars i use half, a good tip is to put the bar into a stocking, crush it up until its powder and run it directly under the tap im new to the lush soaps and im not quite sure how to use them. do you put it on a loofa? do you use it after you cleanse as a luxury item? hope that was helpful :) luv you ingrid
depending on the size of the bath bomb and bubble bar, I personally split it in half or so, unless it's the comforter bubble bar(or the one that's relatively the same size) I've gotten six baths out it!
I'm only like 16 seconds into this vlog but I just wanted to compliment you on your sweater! It's so, so, so pretty and it looks so comfortable! I love it!
the lil present bath bomb thing at 9:16 is so cute! I got two of my best friends these for christmas, when you but the bomb in the bath the ball in the middle bursts and it has gold bath salts and gold sequins in it (that don't stick to you) i had to purchase one for myself after the lady told us about it!
bath bombs: whole thing bubble bars: crumble a piece of it under the running water (use as much as u like depending how many bubbles u want), i find the bubbles better if i hold it under the water as the bath is being filled.
with the bath bombs, i use the whole thing. with the bubble bars i use a quarter to a half depending on how much "bubble" i want. they kind of crumble tho so idk. oh & with the present, this may sound gross but you'll probably find it difficult to break so i would just throw it in, and then take it out and let it dry on a towel & use it again. or throw it away... but i feel like it would be nearly impossible to use it in one bath.
love golden wonder, Even though I like breaking them to get more uses, if I get golden wonder again I'd do it at once because it's a multi colored surprise one!
The blueberry mask is great too!! And the cherry soap: I break it into parts before I use it :D and the rest of the bath bombs and the bubble bars : just put the hole thing in the water soooo amazing :D
i usually use a full bath bomb because lots of them like have stuff in the middle so if you only used half i dont think it would work as well, but idk i havent tried it before! and i usually use only a 1/4 of a bubble bar. all of lush's products are amazing!!
Usually with bath bombs it's best to just throw the whole thing in there, but for really huge ones (like the one shaped like a present) you could probably get two uses out of it, although cutting it in half might be hard. I get two or three baths out of my bubble bars and you should separate that cherry bath melt into three individual triangles, I think that's why it's shaped like that! xo
Whole thing (they are quite difficult to break anyways!)!!! But for the bubblebars, you can break it into various pieces (depending on the size). It will make enough bubbles even if you use just half of it or less!! Loooove you!!!
with bath bombs you throw in the whole thing, bubble bars cut into chunks depending on size, and with your cherry bath melt, i usually cut that into thirds and then use one of the thirds with a bubble bar or bath bomb! :)
Please do a skincare routine sometime! I want to know what moisturizers u recommend for comboily acne prone skin year round. Thanks for sharing yor lush basket and faves..I wanted to start trying out their stuff soon but never could decide what online tho.
@lms031 I dont recommend washing your hair with the bath bomb is. It makes my hair really tangled and greasy. I either wash my hair in the bath before I put the bomb in or wash in the sink after.
bubble bars i use half or smaller of the big ones. Used to cut my bath bombs in half but ive started using the whole ones now bc I have so many. keep the soap away from the shower stream bc they will dissolve faster. My fave face mask is oatifix, smells like banana bread!
The golden wonder bathbomb is by far my favorite holiday bath bomb. I would use the entire thing because if you break it, it might ruin it. But I generally use the entire bath bomb and small piece of a bubble bar and a small piece of a bath melt for one bath. They call it a cocktail. :)
Use the whole bath bomb because when if you try to break it, it will mess up the effect that the bath bomb has. And the so sunny bubble bar is a MESS. It leaves your tub a glittery mess that is so hard to get off. The bubble bars and bath melts you can break into smaller chunks.
i use the whole bath bomb and it depends on the size of bubble bar for me!! for the comforter i would use a quarter of it but i would use half for the bubble bars that you got!
You should crumble the bubble bar under running water! I usually use one whole bath bombs, but I don't use bubble bars much so I don't know how people use it, I think for that size of a normal bubble bar unless you have the huge pink one ( I can't remember the name!) then maybe you can use the whole bar?
The Sunny Side is really fun! It's like bathing in liquid gold!. I usually use a whole bath bomb, but I break the bubble bars in half. Also, you and I seem to have the same taste in perfume. I wear the Daisy (original) in summer and spring, and Coco Mademoiselle in the fall/winter.
I always do half of a bubble bar and a half of a bath bomb (large one). I love mixing the scents. My tub is huge and that is enough product for good smell and lots of bubbles.
I've never ever tried those lush thingy, and I don't have a bathtub either. I had when I was little and when I move from my mom I definitely are going to have one. Ingrid you are so inspiring for me and many others.
Question: Aren't all those chunks of stuff in the soap really bad for your drain? (As in, wouldn't the drain get clogged really easily because of your soaps?)
Brazened Honey and Love Lettuce are by far my favorite Lush fresh face masks! Great for exfoliating, and Brazened Honey really brightens up your face :)
bubble bars you can get at least 5 uses depends on how many bubbles you want and you can cut the bath bombs in half but i would recommend that you don't cut the golden wonder because its really cool when you use it :)
I split most bubble bars into 3 pieces so I get more uses out of it... And you crumble them under the running water (btw) You should get the Comforter, it's my favourite! I usually get 6 uses out of that one cause it's bigger
With the bath bombs, I put the whole thing in because it's hard to slice them with out everything crumbling all over the place. With the bubble bar, you can crack it and use just a part of it so that it will last you multiple baths. Make sure to crumble it under running water. That's how you get all the bubbles!
I cannot recommend the love lettus one enough! I used to get cupcake all the time when they were out I tried love lettus and have never looked back about 9 tubs later! X
a LUSH store recently opened near my place, but because i have sensitive skin ( i have eczema too, but it has mostly cleared up ) i am not sure if their products will be suitable for my skin! I'm very keen on trying it though.
i always split my bubble bars into about 4 or 5 pieces depending how big the bar is. you crumble it up while the bath is running :) bath bombs they say to just put the whole thing in but i try and split it in 2.
Hey Ingrid (or anyone), do you wash your hair in the bath when you a lush bath bomb? Or do you just wash it off in the faucet/before you put the bomb in? Thanks!
Do you use the soaps just like regular soap or is there a specific way? Im never bought anything from LUSH, and Im trying to learn more about the products:)
i miss her vlogs :(

I feel compelled to sing along with the intro when I watch every new vlogmas video :)

Also, you can mix any Lush product with any Lush product. My favourite mix is Space Girl, think pink, the comforter and happy blooming
I use half for bubble bars..or whole if i want my bathroom to be filled with bubbles>< and i use the whole bath bombs cuz...its also fun to watch the whole thing fizz up!!:D i am a huge lush lover too~~~
Watching these videos makes me feel so christmassy even though it's only october :) bring on the lush loveliness and starbucks red cups! x
You have gotten me so addicted to Tiny Tower it is ridiculous! I LOVE IT!
I buy lots of Lush stuff for my kids...I usually use 1/2 of the bubble bars and the bath bombs. If you try to cut the bathbombs along the seam, it usually successfully separates most of the time. bath bombs- whole thing
bubble bars- break up
I LOVE SUNNY SIDE. it actually turns your water a gold color not really sparkly since the glitter disolves which is nice since you dont leave the bath covered in glitter. :D
I also love the porridge scent too. though it gets oats all over my bath :( and i feel like i use it faster than lush's other soaps :(. [love your vlogmas videos :)]

Hey, Ingrid! I just wanted to recommend buying air pans if you like baking cookies. They are absolutely amazing. I have never burnt a batch of cookies--even when I purposely cook them longer for those who like crispy cookies.

Your appartment looks so nice! I love how you basically give us an updated appartment tour like everyday hahah :)
Idfk why, but you're my favorite person on youtube, you're just so genuine, sweet, and charming, you have a very likable personality and i enjoy your videos Ingrid, much love

you got me adicted to tiny tower !!! play it for 2 days now , already have 12 stories !!! love it
i always try to split my bubble bars into 2 or 3 baths depending on how big of a bar it is. with the bath bombs, i use the whole thing for 1 bath. have fun! lush is the best
Try the lush sea salt its amazing it makes your skin sooooo soft I love it and it smells so refreshing !!! I also use the cupcake mask too
the bubble bars must be crumbled under running water (the more pressure the better) in roder to get bubbles and you only need usually 1/3 to 1/2 of a bubble bar
Ingrid,
Great video! I love your blogs so much which is unusual for me to enjoy v-logs with so much beauty sense, but yours are done with so much class and style that I actually don't mind so much. Wishing you much more success in the future in continuing updating the world with valuable beauty information.

My mom and I are OBSESSED with the sultana de soap too!! It's amazing!
I'm French and thanks to you, I improve my english watching your vlogmas videos :) Now I can understand everything (or almost) you say !
my sister in law and i love Lush products! they are amazing! i know she really likes the love lettuce face mask and the cupcake one! keep up the amazing vlogs! i know its alot of work to do them but each video is so appreciated! love ya!

im new to the lush soaps and im not quite sure how to use them.
do you put it on a loofa?
do you use it after you cleanse as a luxury item?
hope that was helpful :) luv you ingrid
depending on the size of the bath bomb and bubble bar, I personally split it in half or so, unless it's the comforter bubble bar(or the one that's relatively the same size) I've gotten six baths out it!
I'm only like 16 seconds into this vlog but I just wanted to compliment you on your sweater! It's so, so, so pretty and it looks so comfortable! I love it!
sunnyside bubble bar makes you sparkly... like a vampire! You'll literally glitter in the light. LOL
i am going to have no life when vlogmas ends.. please continue these videos!:)
the lil present bath bomb thing at 9:16 is so cute! I got two of my best friends these for christmas, when you but the bomb in the bath the ball in the middle bursts and it has gold bath salts and gold sequins in it (that don't stick to you) i had to purchase one for myself after the lady told us about it!
bath bombs: whole thing
bubble bars: crumble a piece of it under the running water (use as much as u like depending how many bubbles u want), i find the bubbles better if i hold it under the water as the bath is being filled.
I went to lush for the first time last week and I am completly in love with the bath bombs, mostly the abominable snowman one
make sure to crush the bubble bars up under running water when taking a bath! first time i just threw it in and it didnt do all that much!
with the bath bombs, i use the whole thing. with the bubble bars i use a quarter to a half depending on how much "bubble" i want. they kind of crumble tho so idk. oh & with the present, this may sound gross but you'll probably find it difficult to break so i would just throw it in, and then take it out and let it dry on a towel & use it again. or throw it away... but i feel like it would be nearly impossible to use it in one bath.
i usually use the whole thing because i find it really hard to take it out after only half of it is used. it just melts away!
YOU GOT ME ADDICTED TO TINY TOWER!!!
i love you for that, ingrid
love golden wonder, Even though I like breaking them to get more uses, if I get golden wonder again I'd do it at once because it's a multi colored surprise one!
I get two or three baths out of my bubble bars and you should separate that cherry bath melt into three individual triangles, I think that's why it's shaped like that!
xo
YES YOU BOUGHT SNOWCAKE, LIL LUSH PUD AND CINDERS! MY FAVORITES!!!!! I work at Lush so I get so excited when other people are into it. :)
Whole thing (they are quite difficult to break anyways!)!!! But for the bubblebars, you can break it into various pieces (depending on the size). It will make enough bubbles even if you use just half of it or less!! Loooove you!!!
Use the whole bath bomb! the golden wonder one that looks like a gift is amazing. it shoots out stars and different colors.
with bath bombs you throw in the whole thing, bubble bars cut into chunks depending on size, and with your cherry bath melt, i usually cut that into thirds and then use one of the thirds with a bubble bar or bath bomb! :)
I love how your vlogs just cater to how nosy I am! Thanks!
I either wash my hair in the bath before I put the bomb in or wash in the sink after.
i love the crinkle sounds the lush wrapping paper makes.
bubble bars i use half or smaller of the big ones.
Great for exfoliating, and Brazened Honey really brightens up your face :)
love you sweater! i bought that in a few colors because i loved how cozy they are!
bubble bars you can get at least 5 uses depends on how many bubbles you want and you can cut the bath bombs in half but i would recommend that you don't cut the golden wonder because its really cool when you use it :)
the golden wonder bath bomb is soooo amazinng ! IT HAS STARS AND GOLD GLITTER INSIDE
Won't the steam from the bathtub ruin your products? I have a similar bath set up and I dont keep my makeup in the room in case they get ruined.
You can use half, but the bubbles/foaming/effect won't be as strong or nice. Hope that helps!
after watching this, and then finding a lush shop in a town nearby, it makes me happy to be able to smell the same ones as ingrids! :D
I split most bubble bars into 3 pieces so I get more uses out of it... And you crumble them under the running water (btw)
You should get the Comforter, it's my favourite! I usually get 6 uses out of that one cause it's bigger
You cut up the bubble bars into small chunks and use the whole of the bath bombs !! The oatifix mask is really nice !!x
ingrid!!! dont stop the vlogging! even if christmas is around the corner! i want to see how ur apartment turns out!
What do you use the lush soaps for? Hand soaps? Body wash in the shower?
Get that awkward peace sign in there! lol i love your collection of lush, and your sweater
a LUSH store recently opened near my place, but because i have sensitive skin ( i have eczema too, but it has mostly cleared up ) i am not sure if their products will be suitable for my skin! I'm very keen on trying it though.
Ingrid, you are a box of cuteness! I SO want a Panda cup, a Joey, and a Lush Treasure Box. (:
i always split my bubble bars into about 4 or 5 pieces depending how big the bar is. you crumble it up while the bath is running :) bath bombs they say to just put the whole thing in but i try and split it in 2.
