@@lisaroriguez4196 As a practical matter, your suggestion might be better in that it would cause less pushback (though I do worry about the waste and fraud that might arise because of it). Constitutionally, I think there is nothing stopping the government from restricting funds in the manner I suggested. Constitutional Considerations: Government Spending and Regulation: The federal government has broad discretion under the Spending Clause (Article I, Section 8) to impose conditions on how funds are used. This includes restricting SNAP benefits to certain types of food. Courts have generally upheld such conditions as long as they are reasonable and serve a legitimate public purpose. Equal Protection Clause (14th Amendment): If SNAP restrictions or incentives disproportionately affect specific groups (e.g., racial, socioeconomic, or regional demographics), there could be an Equal Protection challenge. However, courts usually apply rational basis review for economic and social welfare policies, requiring only that the policy be rationally related to a legitimate government interest (e.g., promoting public health). Due Process and Autonomy: While I understand your concern about government intervention infringing on personal choices, SNAP benefits are not considered an individual’s property or entitlement in the same way as private funds. Recipients agree to terms of use upon acceptance. As such, restrictions on the use of public funds do not typically violate due process rights.

It's called birth control. If you can't afford to pay for daycare or education, don't have them. I had 2 and stayed home because I couldn't afford daycare. I was a great mom and was a volunteer in community. Healthy kids and meals.
Parents are not the only people that use SNAP.
@GetOffMyLawn24 yep, kids too. Disgusting.
We can't wait for RFK JR to take action ❤️🤍💙🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
I love how you broke down the XAI330w project in your video! Can’t wait to see it skyrocket!
Retired seniors would also like afforable healthy food.
I remember when I first started out and was struggling to find a job I applied for help. At that time they didn’t give you food stamps they gave you food stamps. Things like cheese, powdered milk, canned goods, beans. I was grateful to get it. My wife and I used it to create meals for the family.
I recall standing in line a lot of times at food give aways did not always like the flavor of some of it but ate it any way. Keeps you from starving and from getting fat.
Go RFK, it about time and I see hope.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Healthy Foods only purchase with any government assistance
I had a friend who went to a public meeting and they were speaking about poor people. My friend said it should be easy to identify poor people. Everyone looked at him inquisitively and he said “poor people should be skinny “. If you think about it he’s not wrong. The poor in most countries are.
Yep back in the 50's in the USA most of the low income and poor were skinny, even the medium income were not over weight. It is the junk food that ruins lives, that and lack of recreation in the form of body movement. Bad food started up a few decades after Television did, now junk food mixed with television equals over weight obesity and depression.
MAHA!! Keep going RFK Jr. We are with you
There is no project like XAI330w...it is literally owned by Elon Musk
Scam
Get rid of high fructose corn syrup.
That would be a biggy!
Well there is always that other alternative.. the one where you don't have to give mass unwanted dictates and government control over people... don't buy it.. maybe?
@@geosdev it’s in many things. Your solution is good but not always doable
RFK IS A AMERICAN HERO, PATRIOT!!
Natural and a whole food diet needs to be affordable. Shameful that processed foods are cheaper. Meat should not be an industry
MAHA is the real answer to making health care affordable.
Go Bobby! Make America healthy again!🇺🇸
Let them eat turnips! The cake is gone!
Stop buying bad food, do your homework so you can discern bad food.
GREAT advice. But can you afford it? I can, but I dont know if everyone can.
@@niemand282-r3z Beans are cheap and replaces any and every meat beef or pork. Lazy gets you dumb. Potatoes are cheap and easy to cook in skillet or micro wave. Slice your potatoes make your own chips no cop outs allowed. I was raised on beans and potatoes homemade biscuits. We could not afford beef or pork. I never knew what hamburger was until I was a teenager. Never at pork until I had a job. Eat right and it is cheaper always.
Bring on Kennedy!!!
WE NEED HELP WITH HIGH COST GROCERIES ESPECIALLY HEALTHY FOODS! WE WANT TO EAT HEALTHY BUT ITS WAY MORE EXPENSIVE TO BUY FRUITS AND VEGGIES VERSUS A MCDONALDS CHEESEBURGER. Start with incentivizing eating healthy foods by cutting costs when buying healthy foods.
Another thing is help families with foodstamps by raising the income restrictions to be eligible for foodstamps or individuals who are going to college and only able to work a part time job. Disabled veteran's disability income is no longer enough to survive on with such high inflation yet foodstamps office has told my friend he makes too much and he doesn't qualify for foodstamps for him and his son?! He is having to go to the food pantries to make it through the end of the month. Smh
Makes no sense!
Merry MAGA MAHA Christmas!
If I can't afford junk food, I should not have to pay for others to eat it with my tax dollars.
lol if you can’t afford junk food then you have bigger problems. Junk food is cheap healthy food is expensive that’s why we give poor people junk like slim Jim’s and Arizona ice tea
Thank you !! The smartest administration this country has ever seen!!! Long live Donald Trump !!!
I agree. Kids are sick at 20yrs old
I've never seen a 20 year old kid .
@@ConfederateHero-p4r Haven't you heard? 20 is the new 4...
Bulletin: It is possible not to eat junk food. Vote with your feet and don't buy it. You'll be amazed how quickly these corporations change their tune once their sales drop.
Thank you for this comment.. I had almost assumed all sanity had left the planet.
*Conflating people eating junk food with the toxic ingredients in most foods*
Meaning to say if you stop using toxic ingredients most foods including junk foods it would be a big enough improvement to say "go ahead and have a donut with your coffee"
There's a lot of falsehood in the food pyramid.
Who decides what's healthy??
No lie.. I am 60yrs old, have never seen a doctor in my adult life, drink only Coke and eat junkfood and hamburgers mostly at home. I am in better health, have a full head of non-grey hair, look younger(maybe 35) than anyone I know. I DECIDE WHAT IS HEALTHY FOR ME. 😁 When my time is up, its up. Life goes fast these people best learn to enjoy what they can.
@@geosdevachem… BS! Okay lol
@@mikehaymusic Go change your diapy gramps, 300 subs and 9 views? Your music must suck right? Apparently time isn't going to help you there.. so much for age and wisdom.
Stop food companies from putting dangerous things in food, like rubber in bread products and bananas.
There’s some crazy things happening to our produce that’s never been seen before … it’s creepy.
I wouldn’t have believed it, but I’ve been seeing it with my own see.
Junk food isn’t food so shouldn’t be covered.
What is it? Finger paints?
FRUIT LOOPS with marshmallows and chocolate chips covered in whipped cream! lol
NEIN! DAS WILST NOT EAST THEE FRUITLOOPS!!!! DEY ARST BANNINUMEN IN EUROPE SINCE THE END OF DER GLORIOUS RIKENHOMEN! DUST KNOWEN SAS MAKIN DU CRAZY?
All those unhealthy ingredients need to be removed and banned forever.
Make food healthy again!
Eat the bugs!
Who would have ever thought John Fetterman would turn out to have some common sense?
The democrat party desperately need him more than ever, common sense is lacking in a big way
Ban the bad stuff..but you can't regulate what people eat..people have freedom of choice.
People will still be allowed to buy junk food if they want it. They just can't buy it with Snap benefit money.
@@anitamccormick3184 If you aren't controlling what your neighbor eats.. you aren't really living!! You go girl!
Good good great idea. We’ve been saying it forever.
Do good things for America 😊
Right! I'm so glad they ran on this!!!
100% agree! When I was a Schawn's man I used to process ice cream sales with EBT! It makes no sense to use govt funding for sweets and junk food.
All for it. Unfortunately, most American's do not know they are killing themselves because of ingredients in foods that taste good, while they can cook the same foods 100% healthy.
I agree with this report
Abolish SNAP altogether!!!
86% of food stamp recipients work full time. It's basically corporate subsidy.
Go back to the old food stamp way or rather even prior to food stamps was government food give away every where with proof of income. I certainly stood in line for long periods waiting for food give a ways, never had over weight people back then either. A little hunger now and then cleans the blood system and prevents sickness's and diseases.
It's the only way, or you end up with a bunch of control freaks, like we see here.
@@Joe-m9z True that! A little starvation keeps ya thin! Look at Ethiopia for heavens sake! Those bellies aren't fat! Them gasses!
It's a no brainer. I remember arguing with a lady that was on food stamps about how she should be able to use her card to pay for her daughters birthday party because she deserved it. Even though those of us who weren't on food stamps couldn't afford to do the same. She didn't care.
That's a cop out FIX THE FRIGIN FOOD
Apostles of juice is 5 dollars a soda is 1 dollar on food stamps they run out because it is not enough money allowed
Absolutely keep junk food away from kids !!!! Why should the taxpayer pay for kids becoming diabetic and obese and then charging the taxpayer more money for their medical care. !!!!!
That's impossible considering there's thousands of neighborhoods that are barely accessible to even a small market ... And that is all that's on the shelves! Junk food is better than no food! What good is snap if the consumer isn't able to utilize it!?
I hope the rest of the House & Senate understand this basic fact…thousands of poisonous chemicals in US food products EQUALS much higher health care costs. The Senate MUST confirm Robert F. Kennedy and the MAHA and MAGA objectives. For heaven’s sakes, this is JUST COMMON SENSE! Let’s get this done NOW!
💯 %
Glad to-see Kennedy stepping up and getting involved in this important issue
Lets make American food great again
the child tax credit doesn't need to be increased its fine where its at if u cant afford kids don't have them use protection until u can afford too. how about decreasing taxes for single people or married people who doesn't get big tax refunds back at the end of the year unlike people with kids getting 8k 10k plus back at tax time.
Also, for those getting upset about what Kennedy is trying to change with SNAP, food stamps has ALWAYS been a way SUBSIDIZE a household's grocery cost, NOT provide 100% of it.
Standing in line at a fast serve market and people are buying their energy drinks, donuts and jerky sticks with ebt. Such a slap in the face!
Want to help families out? Make life more affordable so a family can live comfortably off a single income budget.
Ban liquor and cigarettes while u at ....what happened to you have a choice what u put in your body RFK
MAHA 🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸
GREAT HOST, THANK YOU
We need to go by what the UK has in their food.
Yes all food must be completely tasteless and bland! Reminds me of the Jolly channel and UK people crying and moaning how lucky Americans are for their food.. lol
Amen
Stop subsidizing irresponsible parents.
Tread lightly. Someone needs to define "junk food"... and there are plenty of lobbyists prepared to pay for said definitions. Keep your eyes and ears open.
Easy.. anything that isn't a bug.. How can 'YOU' be healthy if your environment isn't healthy!
Yes do it!!! Soda, cakes, anything with “added sugar”
I’ve been saying this for years if you’re getting money from the government, you shouldn’t be allowed to buy booze and tobacco. Yeah that’s a real thing.
Poor people are currently being poisoned.
If this change occurs you will rapidly see the neighborhood tiny grocery stores, convenience stores and bodegas stock health foods that are covered by snap.
No way this dudes kids are ACTUALLY in a day care. Smh...
Kennedy has Trumps ear and historically there's a reason John F's spirit is coming through . God bless America.
Lots of medicaid, been paying out alot the last three years.
Get back to pure healthy natural Biblical village foods.
Save America from these food companies.
Make America healthy again.
All the junk or harmful dyes and harmful chemicals. Band the fruit loops we have. And microplastic in food. I’m 70 years old and I want healthier food for all
No more junk food ,
When you’re begging or asking for help then you either behave within the confines of the rules established or don’t accept the handouts. Rather simple.
Do away with the Income Tax and there will be no need for tax credits.
Daycare costs so much money that it made more sense for my wife to just quit her job and stay home. Daycare would have cost more than her monthly paycheck.
Can't even get HEALTY lard without chemicals
Can't believe I almost missed out on Cardano and XAI330w! Thanks for the heads-up in your video!
Americans have short memories. Earlier in the year the Republicans in the Senate blacked the child tax credit
Taking bad stuff out of the food should be the goal.
Public funding should only be used on Whole Foods. Federal funding for food or any other social welfare service is a violation of the 10th Amendment.
Take the Dept. of Agriculture out of the business of defining our food nutrition with their stupid pyramids. It's a conflict of interest. Also, remove them from puppy mill inspections, shouldn't be doing that. Hand it over to the states. I hope RFK, Jr. is contacting Nina Tiecholz of the Nutrition Coalition and Dr. Robert Lustig, a pediatric endocrinologist at UCLA.
