- In this episode we explore an abandoned nursing home in New Jersey that shut its doors permanently in 2008. This is older footage of ours and quicker than our usual explorations but still a good one!

Welcome to the Ivy🌿 Nursing Home where mom and grandma can get up and boogie📻...Looks like it was a decent place for elder folks. I'm sure there are lots of fond memories of that place and sad ones to as well.Hope they weren't using those hair dryers to dry up all that water damage😮
Try to NEVER put anyone in a so called nursing home.
Yes some homes can be not so nice or a good fit for some people in my mid 30s I was displaced due to a fire 2 apartments above me and the sprinklers from that apartment flooded all apartments below it causing so much damage it had to be completely gutted and remodeled took 3 months to be remodeled my home care casemanager placed me in a nice nursing home temporarily for those months I have a disability and use a wheelchair and I need a chair accessible place to stay my family's homes are not accessible to accommodate me every resident in the home and every staff member treated me with kindness and respect and open arms and I made many friends from my stay the staff was so helpful to my needs as well and really cared

These guys are really cool in person, too. They stopped in my restaurant to eat, and I saw the "urbex" merchandise . They told me about their UA-cam, and I've been subscribed since. Very awesome videos guys!

Very beautiful building.. nursing homes have become big business with all the baby boomers getting to that age. They charge 5,000 to $8,000 a month in facilities near me and it’s kinda crazy that they let this location fall apart…

It was up for auctions a few months ago I believe someone bought it but I don’t know for sure.. it would be so cool to renovate this place and make it a home!

Sometimes you have know choice like when you can just barely take care of yourself. You don't want to but with a leg amputated and legally blind do to diabetes you have know choice in the matter . So as far as storing them away it's not an easy decision but one that some of us have to make so don't talk unless you have had to make this decision!!!!!!
