I have not used the program I a while more than 12 months and getting back up on the horse and riding was a little bit rough because I was under a time constraint to put together a video. Boy did it help to find this after I stumbled so badly now can have a great workspace and not struggle so dam much. Thank you!
That Moscow downtown is very pretty, often comes first in search engine. Thanks for the video, I love how clean your greenscreen key is, even on fast hand movements
Thanks for opening my eyes! I had my own layout and because of your video I have now modified it. The source and preview are in the center like the Essentials panel workspace. I was always leaning over to the right working on a large monitor so now it makes sense. I had no idea they would automatically toggle. Thanks for the video and keeping us on our toes for new ideas🍍
Thanks Colin. I started using this a few weeks ago. I like it, but I can always go to my normal 2 screen layout when needed. As always . . . thanks so much!
As a long time Premiere user after a few weeks of using this my thoughts were we should have had this a long time ago. The essentials panel has been great.
I'm constantly tweaking and adjusting my Workspaces, getting it perfect, and then changing it a week later. There's always further optimising I can do, and I kind of enjoy it, it evolves with my needs/prefereances.

The most important thing is being able to add & move panels as necessary, as a project demands it. That's one of Premiere's biggest strengths in terms of usability imo
i tried and i think it's okay because it's the same layout that i've been using with only the timeline taking up the entire bottom half. just had to move from the upper right panel the usual stuff back to the upper left panel (Effects Control, Lumitri Scopes, Text, etc). i've included Source in the upper left panel so that when i double clicked a clip from the Project bin, it plays on the left keeping the Program panel open at the middle.
i messed up in the new workspace and couldnt figure it out, you saved the day yet again thanks Colin!!
I switched to Essentials a few months ago and absolutely love it! Having a large timeline is my biggest need for sure

Hasn't this been around for awhile? I've been using something very similar to this setup for a long time

Thanks, Colin! As usual, useful Info without fluff and self-indulgence.

Great video! I was surprised to see that essentials is the EXACT same as the custom workspace I've been using for years :D
Same here. Kinda copied from Davinci Resolve
Actually, the '23 premiere is a huge change, but after your video I really like it. Thank you very much.
Thanks!

Thank you, Super easy to follow
Thanks! Now using!
Excellent Info. That's gold.
This is awesome. Am I correct that you can'r have Lumetri color and Lumetri scopes on the same panel?

I didn’t even know about this and will change to it asap
I like it. I’ll set mine up asap.
I change over to it a few weeks ago and like it.
good one sir
what versionis this for -- ahoul be stated immediately
Hey Colin, As always, you help with your tutorials. I learn stuff that I would never knew were available. Thank you.
Thanks Video Revealed 🙏🙏💪
Love U Sir👍
Love it !
Thanks sir
This looks like it's inspired by Davinci Resolve
thank u
It reminds me on finalcut pro workspace
Essentials looks very much like Serif’s discontinued MoviePlus X series layout.
Basically, Premiere Pro workspace is now identical to After Effects. Good change.
Where's the tutorial?
So the Essentials workspace is kind of like Final Cut Pro.
DaVinci resolve the same
Yeah Premiere's timeline is horrible for room, so this helps.
Similar to after effects
It's more like aftereffectsinterface
Thanks!
Sorry I missed all your Super Thanks.
