    This is the best review I have seen yet as no one else showed how the receiver is hooked up to the amp. Perfect review. Now time to buy one.

    In other reviews they just talk about the gear and don't show themselves using it. This was much more helpful, thanks

    I just got the spider v 30 amp and heard the g10 only works with the 60 models and up (wirelessly). But the plug setup you got to the amp answers my question if it would work with other amps. Thank you man! 🤘🏽

    The Canadian distributor, Yorkville Sound, is replacing Relay G10T transmitters even if they are out of warranty. They are defective. I don't know about anywhere else but don't accept any excuses or denial. I contacted Yorkville Sound directly and they told to me to contact the dealer I bought it from. In turn they talked to Yorkville Sound, and then told me bring the defective unit in to them.

    • @vaiisking

      It always must be plugged in, that is one of its weaknesses. Also the micro USB connection isn’t the most reliable.

    Does anyone know if its ok to charge the transmitter before the battery is mostly discharged. Some batteries would have some sort of memory that would shorten the use time if you charged it when not fully depleted......?

    • @vaiisking
      @vaiisking 5 років тому

      gbtayc that was the old nickel cadmium way. These new lithium ones want to be fully charged as much as possible as they have “ x amounts of charges till they die” So keeping them from ever running out is the best policy.

    Will it work with the active fishman pickups martin guitars have?

    • @vaiisking
      @vaiisking 6 років тому

      MadMadamba it’s hard to know for sure. Most actives will give it issues however there is a workaround. You can put an adapter between the line 6 transmitter and the guitar, with a short 1-3 inch patch cable. So it would go line 6 small dongle> TRS female to TRS female adapter> small patch cable> guitar input. This solves any active pickup issue.

    • @chrishamilton3740
      @chrishamilton3740 6 років тому +2

      Guilherme Freitas yes. You just connect it (the G10) to the input of your current pedalboard rather than into the amp. Then the cable out of your last pedal in your chain, goes into your amp.

      vaiisking a I think you'll be surprised how good it is. Both the transmitter and receiver are battery powered and rechargeable, so there's no need for a power supply on stage. I reckon I've played 50 gigs and countless rehearsals with mine. I love em!

    • @vaiisking

    • @officialWWM
      @officialWWM 6 років тому

      vaiisking yes, we normally do 4 hour gigs. I think the run time is only about 5 hours, so it cuts it a bit fine. I used to whack them on the charger between sets when I first got them but I dont bother anymore cause they have never run flat on me.

    So the problems they were having with this unit I bought this for my grandson I'm a drummer but I design things at my job and when I saw this I said automatically all you need to do is buy a magnetic USB you plug it in the unit in the back of the base it stays there forever you just put your cord over and the magnet connects if you walked by on stage and kicked the wire you don't break nothing you don't bend nothing it just automatically comes off problem solved

    2 things, first place your Marshall Code amp with an angle, you will hear 'more' things than before and because US houses are made from nothing, signal can travel easily, through walls. In Europe many houses are made from reinforced concrete so signal cant travel that easy through walls. For future European buyers...
