Hello Marquita , I agree with you too! Firstly, I'm so tired and absent minded (I'm sick in bed, bed bound and at 48, the past 4 years my memory just went downhill and it used to be amazing! So, I blame the peri menopause for rapid memory decline) that I didn't even realise about the forgotten mascara plus who cares anyway?! I'd rather see a person just act normally and not pretend to be this flawless perfect human being. I'd support and buy from, a down to earth and more realistic person than some fake person, that you just can't trust! The mascara review can be for another video and I look forward to it too, as I get actually nervous, when I try to buy a new mascara because there are so many and all claim to do everything!
Yes! Hooded eyes are beautiful! The way I think about it is - imagine being a painter and as you age you have to use smaller and smaller canvases to the point of having no more room left to paint. That's how it feels for eyeshadow lovers with very hooded eyes. Most people won't and don't need to care. But for an eyeshadow lover, I totally understand getting one of those eyelid lifts.
This was one of my favorite videos. I got a great chuckle from it. Being a woman in her 40’s with brain fog issues, I can appreciate how “real” you are. I truly enjoy your videos. I agree, the Rare Beauty mascara is the bomb! I really need to build up the confidence to start using falsies. In the meantime, awesome mascara will have to do!

I just bought the CT and I'm still on the fence with it. I'm 60 with textured skin. I paired it with Tatcha silk canvas liquid primer and Huda powder for an air brushed look and for longevity and got it to have staying power. Coverage was a solid medium. The pump is also funky and temperamental. At this price point I probably would not repurchase. Hoping you can try to the new Nars foundation that just dropped in Sephora. Love ya Risa!
Ditto. I am 56, just got CT new foundation and it did not look good on my awfully textured skin (when did THAT happen?) around my mouth and chin. Did like the slight glow but DID NOT find it hydrating at all. Color match is excellent though. (N2) I think I am saving ALL of my pennies for Clé de Peau Radiant Fluid Matte Foundation. It's much more blendable and only need a fraction of product, so in the end much less expensive than these little tubes that require more product. Curious to hear of your favorite products to use with textured skin. I have dry patches now and again from skincare chemical peels.
Mine already went back to Nordstrom. I don’t know why I keep trying Charlotte T foundations. They are all awful on me 😭. My L’Oréal Pro Glow performs much better and is only like $5 on Amazon. 🤦🏼♀️

Have you tried Pixi Blush on the Glow? I’ve really liked it as a hydrating blush that is super light and dewy without feeling oily or greasy. Also, thought I’d mention Juvia shadows-they are super pigmented and creamy. Rustic Bronze is my new fave palette!!

I am 3 months post op upper blepheroplasty and lower lid fat transfer and brow lift. I am older than you (63) but it was the best decision ever. I was out of work for a week. My lower lids bothered me more than my uppers ( I had big bags) but it’s so much better now with my eyeshadow game
Have the NYX brow pencils- Fill & Fluff-- I love the soft little brush for blending my uneven hair on my brows- but I have to use a light touch- I'm too heavy handed😂. Love your videos!!!

Love your reviews! I tried the CT foundation at the counter yesterday and it was so beautiful and a great color, but it really was dry after I wore it a few hours. I think maybe if I had applied over moisturizer it would have been better, but my skin is dry anyway.

I too have somewhat oily skin and was hesitant about the Charlotte Tillbury new foundation product. So I used her Magic Cream as my moisturizer and a light primer before applying. I used a brush, then blotted with a sponge covered in tissue and it was perfect! It’s now my new favorite. Just an idea I wanted to share in case someone else could benefit from it. It didn’t even last two hours on me and had very little coverage. People compare it to Armani Luminous Silk and I don’t understand why. I find them so different!

My lashes are long since I use a generic latisse I get from all day chemist in India but the false lashes look so pretty on you, you’ve inspired me to want to try them. I tried the new CT foundation but I was bit disappointed. I found the coverage more light than medium and it accentuated my pores. I have normal skin. The shade 4N was a bit to dark. I chose this shade because the 3N of the flawless filter foundation is a bit to light end yellow on me. I don't like the flawless filter foundation that much either because it is to mat and heavy on me. So I thought what if I mix the two? It turned out perfect. The shade, the coverage and the natural finish that it gave are perfect. So in the end very happy.

I need the NYX ♡ I love brow products. I had heard tons of people saying that elf wow brow was better than milk or milk or benefit. I mean owned the elf, I just never grabbed it very often but I came to realize recently that I think elf is probably my number one and I have every high end brand out there but I'm still not going to going to stop trying them out. I just don't think I will be purchasing expensive ones because what's the point.
Hi Risa! I’ve found that the NYX brow product works best if you run it through your brows going the opposite direction first. That makes my brows much fluffier!

I love the lip combo we have very similar taste in lip color shades. As far as you forgetting the mascara don’t worry about it be kinder to yourself no harm done!! If you are doing drugstore soon you might want to try the Milani Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette, received it as a gift and I like it. I bought that makeup sponge and LOVE IT. However it got a hole or kinda came apart very quickly after first few uses. I’m still using it. It’s far better than the other style of sponge. Wish they weren’t so expensive. But it’s so good I’m buying another!!

Risa try maxfactor mascara there 2000 calories one is amazing and I've used it for over ten years very volumising and the masterpiece max mascara too especially if you have smaller eyes shorter lashes it has a thinner wand than the 2000 calories mascara but both are really REALLY good mascara that you really do see a difference with and they both have a waterproof version too 😉 £10 or under for both you can usually get on Amazon for around £5 though

I received mine yesterday and absolutely love it because I have dry skin another of her other foundations we’re good for me I’m a Meryl Norman girl so it’s hard for me to match the coverage but I do like it

I tried the new CT foundation but I was bit disappointed. I found the coverage more light than medium and it accentuated my pores. I have normal skin. The shade 4N was a bit to dark. I chose this shade because the 3N of the flawless filter foundation is a bit to light end yellow on me. I don't like the flawless filter foundation that much either because it is to mat and heavy on me.
So I thought what if I mix the two? It turned out perfect. The shade, the coverage and the natural finish that it gave are perfect. So in the end very happy.
I have same issue with sensitive eyes and redness only when i remove the makeup. What eye remover do you use.

I need the NYX ♡ I love brow products. I had heard tons of people saying that elf wow brow was better than milk or milk or benefit. I mean owned the elf, I just never grabbed it very often but I came to realize recently that I think elf is probably my number one and I have every high end brand out there but I'm still not going to going to stop trying them out. I just don't think I will be purchasing expensive ones because what's the point.
Hi Risa! I’ve found that the NYX brow product works best if you run it through your brows going the opposite direction first. That makes my brows much fluffier!

I love the lip combo we have very similar taste in lip color shades. As far as you forgetting the mascara don’t worry about it be kinder to yourself no harm done!! If you are doing drugstore soon you might want to try the Milani Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette, received it as a gift and I like it. I bought that makeup sponge and LOVE IT. However it got a hole or kinda came apart very quickly after first few uses. I’m still using it. It’s far better than the other style of sponge. Wish they weren’t so expensive. But it’s so good I’m buying another!!

Risa try maxfactor mascara there 2000 calories one is amazing and I've used it for over ten years very volumising and the masterpiece max mascara too especially if you have smaller eyes shorter lashes it has a thinner wand than the 2000 calories mascara but both are really REALLY good mascara that you really do see a difference with and they both have a waterproof version too 😉 £10 or under for both you can usually get on Amazon for around £5 though
