Where is Crystal Dunn in all these interviews? She should have been awarded Co-Player of the game with Rapinoe in the versus France game. She shut down Diani , their powerhouse attacker and play maker thereby disrupting the French attack. And she played consistently well in all the other games at a position that is not her natural spot. Let's get some love for Dunn.

collectivelight so you don’t watch soccer often do you? Not to diminish their accomplishment, which they did earn, but they were beaten by a team of highschoolers. Check it out they lost 5-2.
It's not just about who is more talented on the field. The men might be able to outplay them based on physical ability but there is more to it than that. I love the women's national team for who they are on and off the field. I have no interest in watching a boys U-15 team from Dallas play, no offense to FC Dallas.
I even try to watch the men's national team but it is still not as enjoyable. Yes they are faster and more powerful, but I find they are too physical and aggressive. Given the choice I would just prefer to watch the women's team.

SAVAGE TUNER people keep bringing up this game like it was a final that mattered. It was a friendly that the USWNT used as a test game to try different players in different positions and give the bench a chance to get on the field, the game didn’t count for anything and obviously wasn’t serious or else they would’ve started the starters.
Rose Lavelle world class male or female, at full speed fakes to the right cuts left and with ice running through her veins delivered a dagger through the hearts of Netherland nation, gave me chills. So proud of this team, I started to watch the World Cup to see pretty women in shorts ended up watching every match for the skill and toughness. What great role models!

I was at the final in France and on my way there I saw a little boy waiting in line for the train to arrive and he was wearing a Carli Lloyd jersey. Times are changing. Kelley's right we are at this time of change where young boys are being inspired by these incredible women.

Yeah they want equity not equality. It’s BS. Asking for a raise is one thing, but asking for equal pay to the men’s team is unfair. In real estate, should the guy renting apartments get the same commission as the agent selling multimillion dollar properties? Should a first year apprentice make the same wage as the master electrician? It’s all relative to the your earning potential for the company.
If they want equity, they should make the team more diverse and open to trans women then. See how many get cut next round.

Club pay is a different story, but we could pay the men’s and women’s national teams the same. We could take all the revenue generated by both teams and split it in half. Lavelle was the star and hero of the final match. Hitting a pk is not comparable to a goal on the field and not even in the same universe as what Lavelle did. VAR was the star for that pk, not the person who hit it.

3:46 is about the revenue generated by the Mens and Womens world cup NOT the revenue generated by the US men and women's teams.
Now given that the US men failed to qualify for the 2018 WC they didn't generate any revenue from said world cup while the women's team obviously received the prize money from their world cup.
