"I've had this for awhile, but I've never found the opportunity to wear it... Because I'd look like an asshole." Always quick with the self-awareness, our Duncan.
Unironically that Wheelboy All in with 75 was amazing, he has all the 4x in his range and he has an open ended straight draw and a 7 to draw, making him have 10 outs or about 30% equity, truly. In conlcusion, the wheel is the best poker player.
YogsPoker is always my highlight of the year, since I don’t have much time and don’t watch the yogs that much anymore these videos are a blessing, thank you
Ok I've had a but of a break from yogs but coming back to wheel boy is legendary. On the negative side I now have a hankering for cake damn you wheel boy!
If you're playing with people who are good at poker then it becomes more of a game of reading people and bluffing which is where the skill would come in. On this sort of table yeah it's almost entirely luck
@@Keanine so in theory if someone brought a wheel (that you cant read or bluff) to a poker match they would be just as likely to win there as in this environment? lol
@@EbonMaster Old chain, but using a wheel against people that know how to play poker would be awful. The best possible wheel would probably be one that had all in on every slice. In that case, good players would probably get up to around 60-40 to 65-35 favorites (Fold until you have a hand that crushes the average hand), this group would probably be more like 55-45 favorites. With the current wheel, it would be way worse than that. The wheel is incredibly exploitable, you can min-raise it until it randomly stops on fold or all in. Every time you put in a min raise you have a 1/7 chance to win the pot on the spot. I think probably if you came up with some theory, you should probably almost always call/min raise unless the wheel is all-in with face down cards.
When zylus wins his round the dealer burns in-between each card. Even during the flop. Not sure if it would have changed anything but I just thought it was strange.
It feels like that Red Dwarf/Star Trek story has become Tom's favorite story now. I think I've heard him tell it like 4 times now. Heheheheheh He knows how to get the nerd rage going in people.
Does anyone else wish they would pipe in the audio from the poker game from time to time, I feel like they would have funny things to say (I mean ik they technically do, but its just really quiet)
My highlights for the Hat Films art stream. The Hats asked me to remove it since they wanted to keep it for their channel. A tiny bit disappointing since it was one of my favourite streams and edits this year, but completely understandable.
@@DrakonAstron aw man that's a shame. 😞 But yeah totally understandable since they haven't had many chances recently to make irl content for their main channel. Then you're not really taking viewers from their channel and people will still get to see your edit. So might be worth asking in a few weeks. 🙂
I have a genuine question. Is there a video with audio of just the players? I like the banter between Flax and Tom of course, but there are 2 overhead (boom?) mics over the table for a reason right? Either way hilarious video. Costumes like Grinch were top notch. Hilarious video!
Yep, while the main yogscast twitch channel has the commentary, they also stream the table chat with what all the players are saying on the yogcon twitch channel

Wheel boy is literally mankind winning wrestlemania

46:49 for people looking for a timestamp.
The incredulousness of Tom's "You have...children!" made me absolutely lose it
im just keeping a timestamp
don’t mind me
40:52
hahaha it was amazing
@@tl1326 Very useful! Thank you!
i like how the only one who could take Wheelboy down.... was the 9 of diamonds
That picture of Lydia holding Boba, goddamn that came out of nowhere.
And I'm like 99% sure they are replicating a porn thumbnail lol

Tom: There's a lot more spinning the wheel that's going to be happening this year.
Tom with the foreshadowing at the start!
If only any of us knew the rules to this game, things might go a little more smoothly
You ask a player for a card, and if they don’t have it, they say “go fuck a fish”

I'm pretty sure he knew, hence he said that lmao
The finale of Daff and Wheel Boy isn't the showdown we needed but rather the slowdown we deserved.
2:45 as hilarious as it sounds, I firemen are always coming into the store I work at and buying chocolate milk haha
Really thought wheel boy was about to win the whole tourney. The entire stream was iconic. Highlight of the JingleJam right there
59:44 As Wheel Boy went all in, Palps was joined by Golum in the commentary booth.
"I think between you and I we can manhandle Lewis"
They clearly haven't been pushed into a canal.
This was an iconic one
Watching Tom and Pyrion just chat shit makes me really want them to start a podcast together
1:17:50 I loved this whole sequence of harry potter bullshittery
Watching Pyrion slowly come to the realisation that Wheelboy is unbeatable is absolute gold.
Love how the last round was won with the 9 of diamonds in hand
Spiff and Kirsty look like the king and queen of Christmas cuteness
The Simon Clark bit at 54:10 really got me for some reason
I come back to this video sometimes just for that bit 😂
YogsPoker is always my highlight of the year, since I don’t have much time and don’t watch the yogs that much anymore these videos are a blessing, thank you
Pyrion in a leather jacket would give off Tobias from Arrested Development vibes.
The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills.
Every year I forget to watch the poker stream because I always think it's about poker.
A foolish mistake
I think the chaos of the Wheel of Wonder actually improved Lewis' poker.
"You there! Cake or Death?"
Lewis: "Cake!"
The wheel weaves as the wheel wills
before finale:
i better see wheel boy win the whole thing proving that the table is worse than a wheel
Lydia looks like a Mob Boss' Daughter with Duncan as her appointed muscle
0:28 Little did he know...
I'm all for just having CBT on The Wheel
You know you are in for a treat when the highlight video is this long
This is genuinely the highlight of my year! I love nothing more than bad poker played by basically comedians
13:38 love how it looks like Pyrion is casually doing Cheers with a person off screen behind Tom while they both stare deeply into eachothers eyes
Thank you for making these edits! They're so fun and punchy.
Tom and Gemma competing to see who can have the most plunging neckline
The rest of us: winning the competition no matter what
we win when Tom does
Mousie might actually win that contest
Plunging like necklines are in style now all thanks to THE SENATE
Pretty sure Mousie had the most aggressive V-neck

I am so thankful for these videos, I would completely miss jingle jam otherwise 💜
Wheel Boy brought the same chaotic energy as the double 9s prior. I hope he comes back next year. :)
In hindsight, we should have realized the last two would be tom and prions nemeses
pyrion realises he's commentating late night dog poker on dave
i cant wait for my kids to ask where babies come from, so i can explain how to pay the stork
Drakon, thank you for making this.
1:10:31 "The wheel chooses the boy, Breeh"
"Lockdown has been unkind" Ouch, why you gotta do my man like that?
1:23:00 it looks like an eight with the sticker in the middle.
No Vin Diesel for bald role models?
This proves that random chance is better than most of them at poker.
48:25 Lewis would be very jealous

They also livestream the table chat on the yogcon twitch channel at the same time as the poker
