@@LifeCoachYvette What about TAX and HOA ??? do you pay them yearly or something, im doing some research about living in NYC, and i see that apartments worth $500k sometimes have a $4000/Month HOA ... i cant believe it! can you please enlighten me about this?? what if one refuses to pay the HOA, what will happen??
Yes I’ve heard of property taxes being that much in certain areas. My property tax is low and paid quarterly within my mortgage..idk what would happen if you don’t pay your maintenance fee probably get late charges and eviction if long enough
Congratulations to you buying a condo at 25. When I was your age, I didn't even think about buying anything. I live in Georgia now but im originally from Queens NY. I want to own something close to nyc that I can call home because I love my Manhattan Aka NYC 😄😊
You made such a fabulous point that I haven't heard anyone say in the millions of UA-cam videos I've watched on homeownership. You said you don't believe your income will continue to rise at the same rate as the cost of homeownership. I'm in the same boat in California. Home prices continue to rise but I'm reaching the top of my salary range so it's now or never for me. Thanks for sharing your story!
Omg so glad you understand! It’s really insane..and now those same condos are going for 200k just as I imagined. Best of luck on your journey! Hope you land something you love ❤️
I ended up buying a house first this year actually at 24. I’m originally from NYC and didn’t realize you could get a condo for such a good price. I honestly think that may be my next investment. Especially since I moved out of NY I still want something there to call home besides my parents place lol.
Congratulations!!! Its always great to buy something of your own especially young. I tell my kids to buy even before they're married or have kids bc they could always sell later but have equity.
Congrats hun. I’m 35 and still haven’t bought my first place but in time in time there’s no time line for anything. I’m from nyc as well definitely didn’t even know there were condos going for that low.
You got this! & yes a lot of ppl don't which is why I made the video. It's not easy saving that much but it is doable in comparison to other properties.
Congratulations on buying your home! I'm not from NY, but I do like the Bronx. Lots of good food and music. If I moved to NY, I'd choose Manhattan or bronx. I'm glad you were able to get the one you wanted!
BIG moves congratulations Queen. I can so relate after the fees for our house we were broke broke 😂🤣 then we had to furnish it. Child!!! But totally worth it. Can't wait to see your new space!
Whew sis you went through alot during this process. I commend you for being on top of everything. It seems like everything they needed something, you reacted very fast. I work at a financial institution, and trust, that really works in the customers favor when they react quickly. Kudos, again.
I want to be like you when I grow up lol So inspiring, I'm currently looking for a two b/r condo, but with my budget I might have to settle for a 1b/r for now. So proud of you!
Wow! This was a great accomplishment at such a young age! I think this is the first time that saw additional fees outside of the regular pmi, and mention of closing costs. Great video!

Awesome! You are definitely ahead of the game. Most people don’t buy until much later. Great way to invest your money. Buying a condo in NYC would be an awesome experience. I love NYC!
You’re amazing!! The fact that you have excellent credit when purchasing. It’s rare to come across a video explaining the buying process when you do have excellent credit.
