    The captive output lead is a big turn off. What were they thinking?

      1. cost reduction
      2. improved reliability (eliminating another socket/conector in the power delivery path, preventing the user from using an underspec'd 3rd party cable to deliver the power)

    Why th would they make it non detachable?

      For higher reliability and preventing the user from using uncertified cables.

    I hope all the gaming laptops gonna support 240 watt pd charging and we will get rid of stupid ports

    does anybody know when we'll have 240w type c chargers already? They were said "to be released soon" 1.5 years ago. I'm really sick of waiting.
