Now it's Trish, asuka,ruby riot,& absolution ruby & Trish square off while absolution & asuka fight she get upper hand 4 a w hile then #"s game catches up & they start beating her up Trish hits chic kick on ruby absolution goes 4 the elimination but Trish saves her & eliminates Mandy rose now it's the final 4 the heels team up & stare at faces the faces start planning 2 team up but asuka eliminates Trish while Trish was going 4 a high five . Possibly setting up a future match heels attack asuka she makes a comeback finally eliminating Sonia deville her & ruby fight a bit Stephanie says r u nervous Alexa looks like asuka is gonna win so bliss tries 2 distract her by getting on apron asuka is arguing with her ruby goes 2 eliminate he r from behind she sidesteps it throws her in2 bliss knocking her down asuka eliminates ruby

You neglected to mention that after Slater was wiped out, EVERY heel took a pot shot at him on the way down until Sheamus put him in the ring. It was hilarious.

Good Rumble. Rousey debut crapped all over Asuka's win and was completely unnecessary as the spot was absolutely poorly planned and executed. This would have been better served as a post-Rumble RAW spot.

They fucking ruined dolph Ziggler man. That was really sad to see. That whole storyline of him walking out of the company only to return to the rumble and get eliminated in under 2 mins. Absolutely destroyed anything they had going for him. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ziggler legitimately leaves the company now. That was just sad and embarrassing

He’s been under appreciated for so long it’s hard to have a good attitude yet he is still there after all the bullshit they’ve put him through. He cares. Royal Punk I completely agree with you. Was so excited when he came back at 30 and the crowd was really into it. And then they ruin it all not even 2 minutes later. It’s honestly pathetic
He SHOULD leave. Back in the territory days, when someone became stale and unhappy (both of which apply to DZ), the wrestler would go to another territory. Maybe they would change/update/tweak their gimmick, they had a new roster of people with which to compete, and the wrestler would have renewed energy and vigor. The fans, generally speaking, haven’t really responded to him for five years. I think he should quit and go to the indies, the UK, and maybe Japan. If he catches fire while there, once WWE comes back then he can name his price.
I could not be happier that they did that. In fact he should not even have appeared.
This was actually my first royal rumble I watched live, and I gotta say it was honestly pretty good.

That was a nice weekend
The men's RR was perfect : great sense of timing, huge surprises ( Adam Cole, Mysterio, Ziggler ), astonishing actions, high tension in the end with the fear of having Cena or Reigns winning and perfect winner. And the crowd was invested behind it all !
Le Misanthrope I don't even remember the last time I was so emotionally invested with wwe , it was like a superhero fighting two bad guys .
The only thing I hated about the RR was bringing ziggler back at number 30 to lose super fast. While I wanted Nakamura to win if they're gonna bring back ziggler I would've liked for him to win.
Seems kinda pointless for him to give up the title come back at RR and lose so easily
The last real good one was the 2010. As for the women's RR, pretty good for a first time, but I would have prefered someone than Nikki Bella in the end against Asuka, there were no suspense AT ALL, maybe Banks would have been better.
Atlast Nakamura got push. I hope this year will be best for him.
Fun fact, Roman has been one of the final two participants in the last 4 royal rumbles... as much as I do like Roman, thank god shinsuke won. Hoping and praying AJ And Shinsuke is the true main event of Wrestlemania

“If someone gets chucked out, they’re out” yes if both feet touch the floor. Kofi had one foot on the floor and started hopping which is the smartest thing to do that no one does. You’re always going on about stuff not making sense then kofi does the most logical thing in the match 🙄
yeah, i didnt understand him saying that, i actually liked the spot apart from the pancakes (bit too much at that point) but the idea of xavier catching him, kofi hopping around then big e and xavier helping him get back in would have been great
side note, the miz could have done the same, he landed on the miztourage and technically his feet didnt touch, but wwe decided fuck it hes out

Actually one foot touching the floor is considered an elimination if your hands have no contact with the ropes. So a superstar cannot hop his way back in.

That pancake spot was AMAZING!!! You just said the match was trying to have fun and this was possibly the funniest spot in the match.

11 Overall the Rumble was very good even it's the first ever women's Royal Rumble. So happy that the women are being pushed more on WWE and the can have matches just like men. I loved the women in attitude and ruthless aggression eras, but these new female superstars are so good that they make me really wanna watch their promos, matches and I have many favorites like Ember Moon, Kairi Sane, Asuka, Nia Jax, Charlotte, Sasha Banks and many more in the women's roster.
To me both Rumble matches were better than what I expected. I'm so happy that I saw Hurricane, Rey Mysterio, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, Lita, Ember Moon and Kairi Sane. Even more happy that Asuka won and Shinsuke Nakamura too. It's all a dream come true + AJ Styles retained his championship which is awesome.
This Royal Rumble was one of the best in many many years.

Project BRE loved the rumble this year (first time in 3 years) and I REALLY thought they were gonna give the win to balor and can you blame me? He was in there 57 minuets. He’s definitely being pushed and is definitely over now! I wanted finn to win, but nakamura winning is easily a close 2nd for me and I popped hard and I haven’t marked out in a long while

Besides some stupid mishaps I was overlay surprised with how good the rumbles were and fans made the men's one really fun

Ronda Rousey's debut was just bad, it's the timing of it.
The first ever women's Royal Rumble should have ended with the focus on it's winner, not an outsider. In 20 years, tell me, are people going to talk about who won that match last night or the debut of Ronda?
Don't get me wrong, I like Ronda, but she should've been in the match (and not have won it by the way), or not show up at all due to how her debut appearance was executed.
this might be all a ploy with these past 3 years with Asuka, they built this unstoppable woman so that whoever takes her out will be mega pushed as all-conquering, and Rousey needs this push or she'll be the worst failed WWE project ever. So have her win the rumble or have her steal Asuka's shining moment the only 2 choices unless they waited till next raw to steal her spotlight anyway.

Technically speaking,if we’re going that extreme with interpretations of the rules-NOBODY(with the exception of barefoot wrestler)has EVER been eliminated from a rumble,because the soles of their shoes protected their feet from ever actually touching the ringside floor. Lol

I think the Women's Royal Rumble was much better than the Men's simply for the fact that we saw so many legends and older wrestlers, But, I also think the Men's was good because we got the see the return of The Hurricane and Rey Mysterio. ;)
Ronda looked really awkward when she kept pointing at the sign....I felt she was trying to hard. Who’s coat did she have on??🤔 Rey Mysterio came back which for a life long wrestling fan made me very happy!! Please WWE don’t mess him up cause he’s earned to be treated as a legend!

I disagree about 2 rumbles being too much. I loved the show as a whole.
I didn't care for the women spending so much time out of the ring. It made it confusing to remember who all was still legal in the match. I did love all the returns in the women's rumble though.
Wish the men's rumble would have seen more returning legends. I thought the Sami Zayn spot was just awkward and bad, but overall I thought they booked it really well.
The legitimate fear when it was just Roman and Shinsuke left made the ending so much better overall.
Tyler Marler zayn should have been one of the final few to add more interest

agreed, maybe two nights, with takeover on friday, smackdown matches and the womens rumble saturday, then raw matches and the mens rumble sunday.
I just don’t see the problem with the 4 major ppv’s being long. All the brand exclusive ppv’s are barely 2 hours. The royal rumble was about 4 if you take out all the breaks, match buildup videos, interviews, ect. I’m perfectly fine with mania, summerslam, survivor series, and the rumble going 4 hours because every other ppv leaves something to be desired. There is absolutely nothing wrong with both rumbles being in the same night, I actually thought both were entertaining.

He apparently was supposed to fight Roode. Not that that would have been much better, but it explains why he had nothing to do when they put him in at No. 30 (which might have been the intended spot for the Undertaker)

Whenever Roman makes the final 4 for the Royal Rumble, my excitement for the match falls so many levels
I would have had Asuka choose Bliss' title right away. After Asuka leaves, later followed by Bliss, Rousey comes from the crowd and chokes out Charlotte.

That was the best Royal Rumble and rumble match in the last little while. I’m so pumped Shinsuke won, he really needed it to get back on track and now we’ll finally get Styles/Nakamura 2. I was also pleasantly surprised with Andrade Cien Almas, Adam Cole, and Rey Mysterio’s appearances too. I liked the Women’s rumble as well. I’m glad Ronda didn’t debut in the match, but I feel that her debut kinda overshadowed Asuka’s victory. The stuff before the men’s rumble was good, but the stuff after it and before the women’s wasn’t. So all and all the show was pretty good.
Plus props to Sasha Banks and Finn Balor who lasted 54 minutes and 57 minutes respectively.
