We love Him because He first loved us. Before we were capable of responding.. before we were capable of choosing, we were chosen and we were loved. His love empowers and spurs on a natural response, "We love you". Chosen. Even in failure. Wanted. Never forgotten. The One who leaves the 99 to go after the one. Why would he stop the herd and go find the one who went astray?? Don't they have somewhere to be? Doesn't the herd need to keep moving? Clearly His priorities are otherwise, and even the one means the world.

I was raised where worship was simple hymnals, stand up, sit down and I didn’t like the other practices. I don’t remember anything being taught about His love, just the law. I turned my heart from God because I was tired of the rules and hypocrisy. This song is so amazing, so special, so emotionally driven to speak to the Fathers heart. It woke my soul up.
