This STH is definitely in really good shape! Though not as fast winding as Brookfield's admittedly, Its still just as slow winding! Seriously, it truly amazes how long it takes for these STH-10's to come to a complete stop. Those choppers REALLY must be heavy! Nice video!
@RamFett Brookfield's STH dident go off all those times? Dang I'm sorry to hear that! Strange too cause I briefly heard it one night during severe weather and tornado warnings west of me back in May.
Yeah, this goes back to 2008 when I was first recording stuff for my channel. It was winter, and they didn't test for some reason. This past summer, I tried twice, once on the 4th of July because I had off work (we called, no one was working to test them) and again in August (it started to rain lightly, so they skipped the test). I still want to get it on video before ECS lets it fail and scams Brookfield on a replacement.
@@RamFett I feel ya man. There were rumors of Brookfield replacing that STH-10 a little while ago. To everyones surprise, the replacement siren (a FS equinox) ended up replacing the 2T22 north of the STH. So I'm not too sure how long it'll be before Brookfield's STH bits the dust but I'm willing to bet that Brookfield is just gonna keep using it until it calls it quits for any reason. (Probably what happened to the 2T22)

@zachzebra56 Thanks! Man, I've tried 3 separate times to record the Brookfield STH. Got screwed every time, lol.

Great video! Would love to film an STH-10 someday myself.
@@freebrickproductions Thanks! For older sirens, they're quite common. It shouldn't be too difficult to locate one.
@@RamFett Unfortunately, most of the closest ones to me have long since been removed, or are rarely, if ever, tested.
Come to Wisconsin, we have lots of them around!
Ah yes, this one
