- Our TGRI scientists need a giant dandelion! In the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, a giant dandelion prop is used to show the success of the ooze to Shredder. Bill creates this prop out of foam and (lots) of hot glue. Our cosplay group is now ready for Dragon Con!

Fun fact: The leaves at the bottom of the flowers are called the calyx. It's also what's on the top of eggplants or tomatoes. And it's just fun to say.

Pretty great stuff, can you build a David Martinez or Mane from cyberpunk edge runners? Ive seen a lot of people with Davids jacket but that’s about it. Super stoked for every build i see on your channel

I sharpen my blades by running them over aluminum pan or foil.

The reroll was certainly the correct thing to do. it looked like a not quite ready to unfurl dandelion before you re formed the petals the second time. And spot on afterwards.
And it really didn't take that long at all. Just stings in the moment when you goof that bad. 😂

This is such an awesome movie prop. I actually remember how realistic it lookd in the movie and how good the sound effect was when they snapped the dandelion 😂

My brother built the cannisters. They were store bought watter bottles with 3D printed attachments.

Maybe with a few different alternatives other than 3D printing.

Interesting, I haven't been into a Michael's in years.
@@punishedprops yeah, they stooped selling the cosplay books, the FX paint and all the other cosplay tools and supplies except for the foam sheets sometime last year
The moment I saw that you made the middle taller and started gluing I was like damn... He's supposed to do the opposite and is going to have to redo the pasta flower... I was worried that the foam would just be stuck together forever and rip if you tried! 🥲It turned out great though.
