Great presentation, thank you for it. But I will not forgive a comment on ESG itself and the direction of the EU in a wider context: it is a painful mistake for which we will pay. For one thing, it's absurd that something like this could pass without the average EU citizen knowing about it + it's incredibly over-bureaucratic + it's difficult to estimate what real effect it will have at all and how it will translate into CO2 production.
Hey, Thank you so much for the comment! I think many laws are passed without the average EU citizen knowing their full depth. I'm not saying it's optimal; it's just how the system works. Also, I agree with the bureaucratic aspect of it! A big part of the process is preparing the paperwork to describe every step and every process. And that, unfortunately, doesn't mean that the steps and processes actually are making any difference in the actual business. In some cases, they are, but in some - it just stays that - paperwork. As for CO2, the EU and every member state have a general CO2 reduction strategy. However, I don't think it's possible to predict how the policies will translate into CO2 reduction, as it depends very much on business decisions.
very well done.
thanks!
This is excellent! Well done.
