- So, I decided to try something a little different this time and decided to put in some story cutscenes in some of my replays, though I won't upload them in any particular order.
I kinda got the idea when I was looking through the Dissidia cutscenes when I was bored and looked at my "Energetic Ace" video.
As usual please rate, comment, and enjoy.

Putting the warrior of light in this game was a great idea. The other heroes doubt themselves a lot, but not him, he never hesitates when it comes to what he must do. Not that self-doubt is a bad thing, but having an old-fashioned, unwavering hero in the story spiced things up nicely.

Here, here. Sometimes, you've just gotta put aside the sideplots and drmatic backstory, and just get a guy in there who knows what he has to do and puts his nose to the grindstone until he sees it through.
Warrior of Light is like the leader of the FF heroes. He's the original hero. The hero of heroes, per say. He doesn't doubt himself like the others because he's the one that started it all.

They really do work well as foils in this scene. One a risen hero and the other fallen. They have both served the same purpose at one point, but only one of them was truly meant for it.

Sephiroth is a true warrior-philosopher.Notice how he is well aware of his fictional nature,reminding the enemy they are just "entities befitting a close world".

the music in the end when sephiroth was talking about what he and the warrior of light have in common, (those chosen by the planet) added a real sinister touch,

I keep coming back to this because i fucking love how WoL tells Sephiroth to shut his trap and fight. Even more so with how sephiroth seems genuinely taken aback by it
Love the fighting system in Dissidia in terms of moving and attacking, it is the closest thing we will ever experience to a high speed fights seen in cut scenes/anime... you actually "feel" the rush as your dashing, dodging... There are great ideas that Japan has for Action adventure/hack and slash games that would really work with dissidia's game play : Gundam games, Bleach(any anime games with characters that dash/fly through the air), tokusatsu games(super sentai, Kamen rider), Dragon Ball Z(even though i already mentioned anime but a lot of dbz games OK but don't feel fun to play)

Man, Sephiroth, that reminds me of when Elfe asked you a similar question back in Before Crisis.
I like how WoL just doesn't care about Sephiroth's bullshit, he just knows that the guy isn't worth listening to.
I see some misconceptions so I'll set the record straight: Cecil, Tidus etc never fought Sephiroth, Firion went by himself on his own to go get the Wild Rose back from Sephiroth, he immediately got his ass kicked, so he wasn't injured or anything when they fought, WoL is just that good.
Hasn't been said that he was the mightiest of cosmos' champions? It only makes sense.😂
@@R-Chillz Yeah and now since Strangers of Paradise came out it's a wonder Seph survived this at all.
Chaos is the strongest FF Villain, in Dissidia Duodecim, he defeats all of his own warriors at the same time, kills Cosmos, and finally gets beaten by 5 warriors

WoL being able to keep up with Sephiroth is no short of a miracle.
Sephiroth even says at 3:47 that only Cloud can truly defeat him. He was just playing around with the WOL

A miracle... because? It's funny how people forget Sephiroth is just one among the many godlike entities in the series, and Cloud is just one of the of the many heroes that fight them.
When Sephiroth says they are all "Entities befitting a closed world." to Warrior of Light, it really hit me hard. It's like the same similar thing for Smash Bros where all the characters including himself are just the same "entities befitting a closed world."
Sephiroth and those speeches. 😁 Gotta love that about him and no one can tell me otherwise. It's part of why he's an interesting Final Fantasy Villian like Caius.

Even when you win the fight against sephiroth you feel like he won at the end
I don't know why, but I always get that same feeling in many of his scenes, in different games.

I mean i count any time someone tells him to shut his sanctimonious trap a W. And WoL is Great at that
I appreciate that they don’t show WoL looking winded or exhausted showing he wasn’t struggling with Sephiroth.

I loved that bit, haha. There scene cemented WoL as one of my favourite characters, with the way Sephiroth's mouth just drops open at being interrupted like that.
THIS is how Dissidia NT should have been! Cinematic with all the grandeur and references to Final Fantasy fighting styles as there can be! I hope someday they actually REMAKE dissidia exactly like this!

Gah my poor soul!...thelast few minutes of this scene reminded me of "Elidibus" in FF14 and how we put an end to him,what Sephiroth says here is like a forshadowing of what is to become of WoL reeincarnated into Elidibus in FF14,Sephiroth was speaking great big truths here!... TT v TT poor Elidibus and WoL and Sephiroth too just in case some people do not know Sephiroth's tragic life story,cus in a way Sephiroth used to be a WoL until he fell into the darkness.
Warrior of light doesnt mess around. You injure one of his comrades, then its on like donkey kong.

fantastic choice of music for the plot. I wasn't expecting the Holy Orders Remix, been a while since I listened to that awesome song. Easily one of the better versions just for the revamped intro. XD

Zest was renamed to Setro for the English translation, for whatever reason.

I was thinking of doing something similiar for story mode, but do sort of "reversal rematches" in that the other guy wins instead of the usual "hero pwns villain".

In the FFI novelization localization, yeah, called Zest in the original Japanese. If you’re playing by Dragon Quest rules, either of those could work. Or, you could use how Mobius called its Warrior of Light Wol along with the other borrowed FFI names and apply it to this one.

I dont understand where did all this secret cutscenes come from.
Some of it's during the battle but with nothing in the corners. The talk between them at both end and beginning is during WoL's Storyline. FYI that music during the ending wasn't in Dissidia.

I was really good with Sephiroth on this game. I write with my left hand I'm a leftie. I guess because we lefties are awesome we can do amazing things.

I kinda got Cap America Avengers 2 vibes from Seph pointing out WOL doesn't really want the fighting to end so much as a fight he can justify.

Even if you don't like characters who are more psychological (really I don't know what you mean by tries to be, he really is a very analytical, intellectual, and broad minded person, if it was an act then that would have become apparent by now), I still don't see the problem. Not one of the other characters are deep thinkers, so having one that is should be at least a little refreshing, even if it isn't something that you can personally relate to. If not then could you at least not be such a jerk about it? He barely has any scenes in this game, just let his fans enjoy it and you don't have to watch it again. Unless you like the Warrior of Light that much for some reason.

Hating sephiroth for doing his job would be the equivalent of hating warrior of light for bieng a "Good guy who slays evil". Each character has a role which they play very well for an engaging story. Sephiroth will not get stomped into dust, just as warrior of light will not perish.
+Evelyn L. Not every villian is going to be like Golbez, the character archtype of the "Villian who wants to atone for his sins". Sephiroth was built as a killing machine, he had no family or anyone to love and care for him. the closests things he had for family were gensis, and angeal and even they didnt care for him all that much. All his life he believed himself human when the very people who was built to defend exterminated his people. the truth drove him insane. So im not surprised he killed tifa's village or hurt anyone else. I'd be pissed off two if i found that out.

Again the definition of a villian is to cause conflict. Let the roles be reversed. if the story was told as the villians bieng the protagonists, then more likely you would side from them. in a story its all about perspective and the motif behind why characters do what they do. The humans destroyed sephiroths ENTIRE RACE! Thats a whole lot worse than one measely village.

Chaos killed Sephiroth and all the villains at the same time in Scenario 000. Warrior of Light was the one who lasted the longest. Also, Warrior has lasted longer against Manikins then the 6 heroes in the 012 Cycle. While they were dying, Warrior survived against the Manikin army by himself. Firion ran off on his own to fight Sephiroth btw, the others in his group weren't involved.
