I love your looks at Canadian shows being a test ground. I Love that. I am thrilled to have been part of the test ground. Come back and test your new stuff here.
I saw Mike Myers at the Second City in Toronto, before SNL, and he was brilliant. I've never forgotten his pimp/temp agency manager skit. "Papa don't take no girls with no rezooms."
YAAYY!! I'm SO EXCITED to hear a new (long) interview with Mike! He is SO FUNNY, interesting and CUUUTEE!! 😍😍😍 His wife is SO LUCKY! Also, I really hope he will make a new Austin Powers for us. The fact some of the crew involved is there is a really good sign! And would make me so happy to see. Love Austin .. love Mike so much. 😘 Xx
I didn’t want to hear the rest because the interviewer literally told me I stop listening in the beginning when he was introducing himself. Mike even called him out and said What was that?
Love Mike - but was sad to hear that he wasn't a fan of Carvey having as much screen time as he did. His first draft of the movie, allegedly, didn't even have Garth in it, and Lorne and everyone was like, "wait. what? No No. Re-write this."
It’s an Order of Canada pin; the OoC is the highest honour that a Canadian citizen can be bestowed by the State. Similar to being given a ‘Knighthood’ in Great Britain.
I wonder if he feels the absence of love from you as a palpable force in his life. Like something constantly hovering in the back of his mind that he can't quite identify, but that is keeping him from true happiness.
I expected being a grown up would mean going to parties like the one I saw in a Peter Sellers movie. He wore sunglasses and a Nehru jacket. He had the coolest apartment, there was jazz music and beautiful people. It looked really fun. 🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧
Mike Myers got me through the 90's with Waynes World and Austin Powers. Those movies are still the funniest ever.
Great interview. Mike Myers is great at whatever he does. We all look forward to his next project with open arms.
It's great to hear from Mike. He's a consummate professional responding to a very poor interviewer.
No questions about SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER??!! In my mind, that is his best movie.
It's frustrating that most interviewers don't touch on Axe Murderer. Definitely up there with WW & AP
"We have a piper down! I repeat piper down!" 😅
Stuart McKenzie is right up there with Wayne Campbell and Austin Powers.
@@beatlemania2006 100% agree
Agreed!
Now we know what Gary Numan looks like without eyeliner
Man he's deep! Such thoughtful answers.
It's so interesting how that same mind also creates such funny characters and movies. 😊

Host SNL now. The world would love to see Wayne world today

I saw Mike Myers at the Second City in Toronto, before SNL, and he was brilliant. I've never forgotten his pimp/temp agency manager skit. "Papa don't take no girls with no rezooms."
No doubt a comedic genius.

29:11 Please, fund this. ASAP. Living legend in comedy has spoken. We're not worthy.
Such a great interview!
YESSSSS!!! confirm or deny
Wayne Campbell and Charlie Mackenzie and Austin Powers and Shrek
"SHE'S. Your friend. Ralph. Ralph, she..."
@chrisdalton5646 I like Mike Myers naked meeting Ralph
@@LisaWolfe-dg5rm 😉

The way Mike appears now, he could do an amazing Charlie Chaplin movie
"Remember, if it ain't Scottish, it's crap!"
Mike Myers in his silver fox era. 😌 Looking great Mike!!!

Excellent 🤘😎
good lord this is just everything
Love to see a MM movie. So many stories.
Culture and comedies uniting people is extremely deep!
I want another Dana and Mike movie, doesn't have to be Wayne's world, just anything
Don't forget Dieter from Sprockets.
Charlie Mackenzie was my fave character!!!
We need Austin Powers 4 coming soon
❤AUSTIN POWERS 4!❤
Dr. Evil rules 🤘
When is 'The Love Guru 2' coming out?
Mike used to do Sears TV commercials in Canada.
I miss sears
Such a multi talented performer (if a bit of a diva according to Carvey). One of SNL'z best.
I like Wayne's world and so I Married an Axe Murderer and Austin Powers and Shrek
I love the added clips, thanks Vulture for uploading the whole interview!
Stick with the interview: He gets warmer and more focused with time.
I doubted, but you were correct. This interview builds to some great stuff. Also Mike Myers is incredibly smart.
Don't let Mike wonder.
Scarborough was robbed of being Wayne's hometown!
I didn’t want to hear the rest because the interviewer literally told me I stop listening in the beginning when he was introducing himself. Mike even called him out and said What was that?
Mike got his start on the CBC TV show King of Kensington, another source of Canadian culture.

Why is Myers rocking the Korean dictator look?
Oh, Mike.... you of all people should know that Steeles doesn't intersect with Eglinton!
Wayne Campbell, the Theo Von prototype.😅
Wow
what is that pin on his lapel?

We need Shrek 5 coming to July 1st 2026
Needs to fire his barber.
He seems really self-important
Mr. On-Set tantrums...petty AF
Did he tell his Captain Cook story for the three thousandth time?
The amount of awful shit I’ve heard about this guy is really holding me back from loving him.
@@GR8FLMD3AD quite literally every single story that has come out from people who have worked with him?
