Idk how to play the game so I don't understand the whole video.
There is two teams : red and blue. In each team, there must be at least a spymaster and a guesser.
The spymasters are able to see the color of every card on the board while the guesser see them all white until they turn them over. For the whole video we are watching the game from Ludwig POV, who is the spymaster of the red team, which is why we see the color of every card.
The goal is for the spymaster to make his guesser(s) find every card of their team color using clues (without picking the other team's color or the black card which means instant loss). For each clue, the spymaster indicates how many cards it is related to.
The guesser is able to chose one more card than the indicated number for each clue. This is made so that he can try again if he didn't find all the cards related to a previous clue, but here Foolish decided to take random guesses even though he found everything, which is dangerous because he could help the other team or pick the black one and loose instantly.
