  • The new Minelab Equinox 700 and 900 offer some new features that weren't included in the 600 or 800. This video will focus on showing you how to enable and configure the "Vibration" feature of the Nox 900. In the Equinox 900 you have an extra feature that you don't get on the 700. I'll go over all of that information and show you how to navigate the menu to configure and setup this new feature. If you are a diver or have some hearing impairments you will find this feature very helpful.

    Awesome Function. Thanks For sharing these videos as I am getting the 700 by next week these videos you are making on the 900 will helps me understand the differences in functions between them. again I am mainly a turn on and go detectorist. Most I do is noise cancel and adjust sensitivity if needed. Happy New Years. Peace

    Scott, I was thinking it would have been nice if Minelab would have enabled vibrate like the reject option, where the user could turn on vibrate by segments. That way segments for Indian head pennies in your coin program vibrate could be turned on for segments 55-57. Hope I made it clear what I'm trying to say.

    • @MentalMetal
      @MentalMetal  Рік тому

      I think that would be very cool, just like adjusting tone volume and pitch. Have one to enable vibrate for each region. I love that idea.

    The vibration is the same as if it didn't have it. It's so weak that you won't notice it in your hand.

    Just upgraded from 800 to 900. So far great. What is gold range?

    • @MentalMetal
      @MentalMetal  Рік тому

      Gold can hit all over especially the lower numbers.

    Hello, Can the vibrate function be applied to one or two vid numbers, for example only vibrate on a merc? Thanks for all your work...

      I don't think its possible from what I've seen. I see where you are going and I had the same thoughts.

    Hi Scott. Thank you for all the great videos 😊. They are very helpful and educational. I’m currently using the nox 800 which I really like. I live in Norway and do most of my hunting on farm fields which have a lot of iron but not as many square nails. I was thinking of maybe upgrading to a Manticore of D2. I really like the screen and menu on the Manticore compared to the D2 which I’ve never used but it seems that the manticore is falsing a lot on iron and the D2 seems to have better separation from the videos I’ve seen. Which machine would you recommend or should I wait to see if there will be any updates first. Thanks again.

    • @MentalMetal
      @MentalMetal  Рік тому

      Thanks WS, if I were you and if you weren't concerned about hunting in iron then the Manticore is for you. If you are encountering bad iron I would totally go for the Deus 2.

    • @NordicDetect
      @NordicDetect Рік тому +1

      @@MentalMetal Thanks Scott! Do you think the Manticore falses more on iron than the 800.

    • @MentalMetal
      @MentalMetal  Рік тому +1

      after seeing it in iron last weekend I would say no, there is a lot of capability we are just starting to figure out with the Manticore and it will only get better.
