SNOW, COLD, AND A 3 DAY EEG WERE ALL IN STORE. I WAS RECOVERING FROM A SPINAL EPIDURAL INJECTION THAT LEFT ME NOT FEELING GREAT, AND DANIEL HAD A BUSY WEEK WITH TESTS AND THERAPIES. OF COURSE, THERE IS ALWAYS DOGGY TIME, SINCE I AM THE PRIMARY CAREGIVER OF OUR FURRY BABIES TOO.

My friend used the head porter
It wasn’t the best for Daniel, and he didn’t really get it. His eye gaze turned out to be better with just his eyes. But a lot of people have success with the pointer.

It’s pretty terrible to be honest. Seeing a chiropractor for acupuncture. Taking new meds. Stretching. Swimming. Yoga. But yikes on the nerve pain. I see the back doctor and back surgeon this month. Just for consultation. If I lost a lot of weight that would help. But that takes time. I don’t know. I think I am doing the right things. Caregiving is physically stressful on my body. I think they may want to try and correct the problem surgically. Acupuncture is helping though. A little.
I’ll be having surgery soon. Not a major big deal. Just nerve decompression. Outpatient surgery

I was sooo relieved when Trump was kicked out! I don't know if I've ever told you, but I have close family living in Texas. My sister went to uni in Sheffield (UK) & met her now (Texan) hubby at her Church. Her Church was a Church plant by his Church over in Waco. When they got engaged, they discovered it would be easier & better for them if my sister became a US citizen than if my brother-in-law became a UK citizen. They now have 2 beautiful girls, Lexi is 3 & Riley is 4 months. I'm so glad they're not growing up in a country with Trump in charge! The thought of him in charge of their country & the country of so many people with disabilities was awful to me. Having disabilities myself makes even more sensitive to the needs of others with disabilities of any form.
But they're hoping that before Lexi needs to start school, to be able to come over here for six months & catch up with friends & family. Unfortunately, COVID may put a stop to those plans!
We are very grateful that the insurrectionists didn’t succeed. Joe Biden is doing a terrific job so far considering the mess he walked into with Covid. Life is ups and downs, some people have very different views than others, I have been supportive of conservative presidents in the past, even though I am more progressive minded. But what happened over the past 4 years was intense and dangerous. I hope leadership can somehow come together again in the spirit of the diversity in our country. Trying to stay positive and hopeful but if you noticed, I had no vlog on Jan 6. I was traumatized by that attack on our Capitol and what could have happened if they succeeded. Thankful to God that they didn’t. And I remain hopeful for the future and yes, persons with disabilities here still have an uphill battle. But it’s better under leadership that is more progressive. Still hard. But better. Each day is a reset. We can try to move forward with love. I love the US, although I would love to visit more places in the world. Someday
Texas is an incredible state. I think change is happening there, I have a friend who moved to Austin after her kids were grown. She sold her house in Sandy Hook and decided to resettle in Texas. She hates Ted Cruz, but many there see him fading. I hope your sister and her family are doing well. I hope Texas fixes the problems with the power grid so that if extreme weather hits again people won’t be so devastated. ❤️

@@jhasselberger My sister was one of the people who got their power back, but they're having trouble getting water. They have a 1 gallon limit per person per day, which is difficult with little Riley. The shops are also pretty much empty due to all the spoiled food & now issues with supply due to the ice & everything. It's crazy there.

Was the eeg at home due to COVID ?? Never knew you could do it at home that’s neat and so much easier for you I’m sure
It was done at home for cOvid and other reasons. Apparently they have been doing it this way for a long time, but only recently is it getting approved. It’s an outside company that does the monitoring etc, so I’m not sure, but just guessing that hospitals would rather get the $$$. So much easier and very effective.
