I honestly didn't think this would look so glorious! Absolutely stunning. Made one and put at my front door. Lady drove by stopped and asked where I bought it. I told her I made it and was making more in other colors and sizes. Guess who got a commission to make 24 for a sweet 16 party???? Yup and she's paying me $20 each! I can finally afford a washer for my home!!!! TY Hometalk best project ever (and you have thousands of great ideas!)
Absolutely beautiful!! Who would have thought something this pretty could be made from a few plastic bowls and a string of lights from dollar tree. You rocked this diy!!
These are so pretty! They’re perfect around the pool. I’m loving the fairy lights with the cell battery packs. The battery lasts longer and they’re so easy to hide since they’re so small. But, I always struggle with making the fairy lights look uniform and pretty. I wish she had shown how she did that, especially through 3 bowls.
Those are so pretty..I made Christmas ones with the plastic bowls for my porch.. I'm definitely going to make me some of these..Thanks for sharing this with us..Take care..
OH WOW!! These are really BEAUTIFUL!! 🔥 LOVE the colors! I'm definitely interested in trying it out. I have pets and children, SO... because they're made from plastic, they will be a safe non glass, non hazard/breakable pretty thing I can have!!! THANK YOU for such a HEAVENLY project!!❤️❤️❤️
I would use fine grit sandpaper just to smooth the edges inside. As far as the battery pack, I would get a smaller bowl and glue glass stones to it and turn it upside down and it would conceal that and the light would reflect off the glass stones more or glue them to the outside base and it would conceal it a little better. The greenery is nice, but if it's windy, it would blow off. Just a thought.
You are welcome 😊 Just a friendly thought/alternative. I also saw that Dollar Tree 🌳 has a small package of lights on one side and clear glass stones on the left side of pkg for $1.25. That could be an alternative. I don't know if it's like the little tea lights. I saw them on their website. You showed a really pretty way to decorate the outside pool/patio area and it gives it a such a soft ambient atmosphere. I would be spending my time outside on cooler evenings. Very romantic as well! 💐 🕯 🍽 🥗 🥣 🍷
You could even use 2 blue bowls, bottom one up side dn, then nxt 1 right side up, then just 1 clear bowl upside dn over the blue bowl 2 make it look like a crystal lamp shade. That way guests could c ovr the lights wen chatting 🙃
I wish she showed what lights she used and how, exactly she put the lights in. Were they just put in, bunched up into each section? Are all of the lights connected to each other, or were there separate strands?
Very pretty. I use the clear bowls for my birdbaths. Spray the outside with Sea Glass paint and you can see the water shimmer when looking at it, have a solar fountain in it with a few rocks for the birds to stand on. The birds love it. Not a solid cover paint .
I did some of these for Christmas and red and green and they were beautiful outside only problem I ran across was then falling over from the wind has anybody figure out a way to attach them to the ground or weight them down so they don’t get blown over?
I was thinking the exact same thing as I was watching, especially since it would be way too easy to damage the blue bowl getting the heat tool up against it like that.
What about using a smaller candle ring of silk flowers and leaves to cover the battery packs, under the bowl? I've used them over the years to cover up all kinds of stuff. Just an idea. Hope it helps. Thank you for the video, greatly appreciated. Take care, stay safe, have a nice day. 👵✌️🖖🙉🙈🙊
I would only do that if the table top is plastic and you intend to put almost nothing on it. With those bottoms cut out, this will not bear much weight at all.
I would wad up a small bit of foil or holographic tissue paper in the bottom to hide the battery packs. Can you imagine how pretty the reflections would be?
You didn't show the step where you added the lights. How did you get them to stay in place, and not all fall down onto the bottom? Also, how many strands of fairy lights did you use?
P.S. if you like to garden, you can make a moon garden. All you have to do is plant white flowers that will stay open at night. The white morning glories called moon flowers I think will stay open , and there are white petunias and white hibiscus etc. When the moon shines on them it is gorgeous. They glow almost. Plant a bunch. Im sure you will love it. Especially when the moon is full and almost full. I cant afford it right now as I would have to pot them due to our lousy soil. But I always wanted to do my yard like that. Your lamps would be a perfect touch.
@@vegangelist you need a drill and a diamond hole saw bit. There's some great YT videos. I got a set of those diamond bits on Amazon for $10! It works amazing but it is slow going.
Well seeing the ending I mean these would be really pretty centerpieces for a wedding I mean they're very high-end looking very pretty I don't like the ivy on them they did look better when a lot more flowers got put on but I love them plain or maybe with Just matching Flowers but yeah They are Stunning!! Great Job!! 🥰🥰😎😎🤩🤩🤯🤯
On their side, the clear ball with blue ends looks like a piece of candy. At first I thought you were going to run a strand of Xmas lights through a string of oversized candy. This is pretty

I wish I was as creative as my youtube creators. I guess that's why we watch for ideas. I love it.

Hi Jana, how are you?
Exactly! I had to rewind to make sure I didn't miss it! Did she glue them to make them stay in the top 2 layers???

Simply Devine. Love it! W/all the cool projects. I hope the prices don’t increase at the dollar tree. I love the creative ideas.
Very pretty and a more substantial project than many dollar store projects. Also, I was happy to learn about the heat tool.
I'm usually not overly impressed with "towers" made from plastic bowls but this one is really nice. Thanks for the idea and well-done tutorial.
I completely agree! These are really pretty!

Rebecca, I like that idea 💡😀
NICE!!! It's Dollar Tree glass stones for me!! Appreciate the alternative to greenery!!!

The glass stones wood reflect the light a lot better too
If it's windy the entire thing would blow away
Omgsh, the centerpieces look so beautiful @ night! GORGEOUS!!!
You didn't tell how to keep your lights from falling out. Need to know this, really want to make some.
Such an easy elegant and lovely project! Thanks for sharing 😊

Love them! Another way to disguise the battery packs would be to wrap some silver Christmas tree garland around the packs within the bowl. Thanks!🖤💎
Great idea!
Yes! Or even aluminum foil. The flowers and ivy don’t really go with this particular set.
@@farialmab4723 I agree
@@JessiCat1980 🤍
What battery pack and lights are used
That is simply beautiful piece outdoor patio event
This is absolutely gorgeous!!! It would be awesome for wedding decor!!!
luv it i made mine into a hanging pendant lamp...............................
For a wedding, a piece of floral foam could be glued to the very top so you could stick in some florals, plus dangling ones as well.
Love that idea! That would be pretty for lots of special events.
These are really nice! Can’t wait to try them & place on my patio! Thank you!🌻

Really lovely! I especially like the one with the blue bowls inside the crystal bowls - just gorgeous!

Great job! They are beautiful. Thanks for the share.
Wow gorgeous decor pieces!
Being new at these crafts and such. Did you just stuff those battery powered lights in those containers OR put them in in a particular manner?
Beautiful I made one similar for spring I put an Easter egg on top. I’m planning to make another one for Christmas! Thanks for sharing your technique.
Wow, so pretty! What a nice idea for like the pool or just out on your table to add that extra touch!😎😎
I truly love this.It’s so beautiful!!! Ty.🥰❤️
Very beautiful excellent idea for a base to a table
Hi Wendy, how are you?
These are gorgeous! Perfect for anywhere inside and out. ty.
Wondering when you put the blue bowl over the clear if you can take a marker and trace a circle which will be easier to cut…. Just a suggestion.
I was thinking the exact same thing as I was watching, especially since it would be way too easy to damage the blue bowl getting the heat tool up against it like that.
These are absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing
These are gorgeous. They'd are lovely wedding tables
What about the fumes from melting the plastic? Toxic? Better make sure you have plenty of ventilation. For the epoxy or other glue, too.
My thoughts too
This is a good way to get sick
👍
Cancer anyone?
Very pretty
We’re all going to get cancer and die from crafting.🤣
Absolutely gorgeous and simple.
Hi Maria, how are you doing?
Could I use a dremel to cut openings?
Would have been nice to see the lights and battery pack, and where to buy them.
You can get the lights at any pound shop or hobby craft or the range
Can found lights in a lot of places. She was show how it goes together.
Walmart has lights
Amazon has them also..that's where I purchase mine..good prices..
On line, Micheal's, Joanne's, etc.

Son unas bellezas ...!!!Felicidades..!!👏👏💃😍🙋🏻♀️
Gorgeous! Love them!
So pretty! I think I'm going to use this as a base for a side table! Ty for the idea!💡
I would only do that if the table top is plastic and you intend to put almost nothing on it.
With those bottoms cut out, this will not bear much weight at all.
They're beautiful! But floral garlands would be the simplest thing to do!
Hi , how are you doing?
I just Love coming here
It's always my pleasure to learn new ideas

on the winter snowman one what did you pour on first before glitter
Wow!!! Absolutely beautiful. 👏
They look much better without the greenery 🥰
I dearly love ❤️ too love these!!! Thanks
Love those bowls! Actually So Many things are never in any Dollar Tree Stores Here In The High Desert in California.
Very pretty results. Just seemed to have skipped an instruction or two.
Very, very beautiful, I will make some for my friend and myself. Thank you for sharing
Absolutely beautiful!! ❤👍
Very Beautiful pieces
These are so pretty!
Hi, how are you doing?
You didn't show the step where you added the lights. How did you get them to stay in place, and not all fall down onto the bottom? Also, how many strands of fairy lights did you use?
She probably glued them with some hot glue
Wow! They are gorgeous!
So pretty!!
Wow so pretty and creative!!

I'd love to see this with vintage glass bowls from the thrift store!
Yes...they are on Pintrest and used in the garden 🌿🌻💚
How do you cut the glass without specialty tools? I agree that vintage glass would dial this up a thousand notches.
@@vegangelist you need a drill and a diamond hole saw bit. There's some great YT videos. I got a set of those diamond bits on Amazon for $10! It works amazing but it is slow going.
@@Bettinasisrg thanks!
you could go around that bowl with a sharpy and then melt it.
Excellent, beautiful and accessible. Thanks.
Lovely! Nice job. So creative.
This Hendricks Copeland person who has replied to your comments is randomly replying to others comments. You might want to report it as harassment.
The only problem with this is the lights. I cant get them to last more than a couple of hours or so. Its pretty though.
Those bowls are new to the dollar tree in my area.! Thanks for the idea.
Maybe have just the base as a solid color (not clear). If staying with the color scheme, the inside of the base could be spray painted.
Really Pretty!

Hi. If you turned the plate upsidedown wouldn't the water run off rather than sit in the plate. Just a thought
On their side, the clear ball with blue ends looks like a piece of candy. At first I thought you were going to run a strand of Xmas lights through a string of oversized candy. This is pretty
How pretty...I hadn't clue what the end prowess going to be!
They are beautiful
Looks lovely!! 🙂👍
Gorgeous but how did you get the lights inside?
Hi Tara, how are you doing?
Wouldn’t it be easier and faster to trace the punch bowl first before using the melting tool?
This is really a pretty project. It doesn’t look like a cheap DT diy.
I love blue so it's perfect
This looks beautiful!!!
Wow beautiful and they look high end 👏🏻👏🏻🐇🐇😘
Absolutely Gorgeous 👍❤💯
I've used these bowls 2 make lamps 2 side tables but these lites r something extra will do 2 add 2 collection very nice t4s
Very creative. I love this idea!!!
How u did lighting shud have shown mam
You could use ribbon at the base.
Why not send the areas where you removed the plastic? Also what kind of lights and where did you get them from?
How did you put your lights inside the bowls?
What type of battery pack and lights were used?
So pretty. How great for your out door party
Love them😻
So beautiful they are wow.
Can you give a link for the heat too
I wondered that too
Search for hot knife or soldering tool.
Where did you get ur battery pack timer lights from?
How cute would thos be as a table (night stand) in a little girls room it could do double duty table n night light
What is that heating tool you are using????
