- You will be asked to refill medications all the time. However, in order to do so competently you need to have a running knowledge of how the medication works as well as its side effects and contraindications. It is not enough to assume the pharmacies will pick up on these things as often patients may not disclose everything and critical pieces of information can be missed, sometimes with bad outcomes. We will all make mistakes but we have to work to minimize those as much as possible.
As a non-doctor (but in a science field) I’m fascinated by the way different medications guides the body to address an issue (i.e, hypertension) in different ways. Life is an amazing thing. Although I didn’t understand everything, I appreciate these videos. Thank you!
It's a pretty fascinating feedback system
Oh how I wish i would have had you in my RN degree program teaching pharmacology course. You are amazing!!
I love your theories on Down syndrome or any other genetic chromosome disorder I had my first baby at the age of 32 yrs & my ob offered the test to check for Down syndrome I declined and asked could they prevent which was no it so why bother? Fortunately she didn’t have any disorders you’re blessed with the child you create or adopt
This is good advice & information for anyone. I’m on the very mature age spectrum. Meditations affect us differently also. Thank you Dr Butler 💙
thank you
This guy is Super Smart 🧠
Her health takes priority. If another drug can be used to save the fetus, its the patients choice.
How do you remember all of this medical information with even taking a breath. You are one smart dude.
Spot the cuts
Are women not told about risks when they are prescribed the drug?
While at 64, I don’t have to worry about being pregnant, especially without the plumbing, I did learn that I am on a ACE inhibitor.
Hi Doc---- ✌️
I'd wonder how her medication affects the fetus.... Everything in the body is connected,I find as years, information from west/east rises . Good luck to your patient- if it affects Mom's heart, kidneys what about baby's forming organs----- 😮
I'm 58 years old my name is Felicia and I'm the one that stole the inheritance from yes I am pregnant I'm 59 years old and no I didn't have a cycle since I was 53 years old so yes I'm pregnant something is rolling around ain't no darn 🐛 worms from my body I'm taking parenthesis on Malachi ham methocarbam and ibuprofen😊 but why I didn't come in clinic because practitioners has been paid time and persuaded to lie and say I'm not pregnant and I'm 59 years old feeling a baby moving around like a real baby shower and I'm not a liar put me 😢in the crazy 😢 hospital 🤦🏾🙏🏼😔🤷🏼♀️😵 😢
I'm very sorry to hear about that. In the meantime, are you taking care of yourself? Keeping your stress low? As a pregnant woman this is your main concern now. Okay? 1. Low stress 2. Regular sleep 3. Whole nutritious foods 4. Gentle exercise.
You deserve medical help. May I recommend having someone with you? I do have trouble following your sentences, so if you happen to have English as a second, (or third!) language ask for a translator for your appointment.
My best wishes to you.
@@misssmith7225 Unless she's had a pregnancy test [not a peed-on stick], she is probably in menopause. To be pregnant is highly unlikely.
Great video as usual doc!
Man I really don’t understand how anyone with any remote knowledge in the human body could in any way not be a follower of Christ. We’re so wonderfully and beautifully made! No way we evolved from pond sludge or from monkeys. Not to mention nothing changed class during micro evolution meaning a human can only come from another human. You don’t get cats from fish or people from apes. Just doesn’t happen. God bless!
Soli Deo Gloria~
My head hurts
😂😂😂😂😂💙💙
Pregnant?
Can cause severe harm or death to a developing baby.
Did you even watch the video?
@@DrLoverLover I did have to, already knew the answer.
You. Make. Lots. Of. Money. From. Patients. That. Don't. Need. It.
