I think you multiply both sides by 3/2, then 2/3 multiplied by 3/2 (just to get rid of 2/3) will be =1 and -1 multiplied by 3/2 will give you -3/2. It was hard for me to explain this using words but I hope y'all understand.

Hello :) I would ask you to try the question again but completely ignore the previous question. So you would first get gradient of AB which should 2/3 Then use the m1 x m2 = -1 formula to get the gradient of BC. And you should get -3/2
It’s -1 divided by 2/3 on your calculator. Or you can just remember that perpendicular lines are negative reciprocals. Meaning if one’s gradient is 7 and is perp to another line. It’s gradient will be -1/7. And 2/3 will be -3/2

It’s always the negative opposite of whatever you got at first so because MAB was 2/3 then MBC is -3/2 or if it was 1/2 then it would be -2/1
