I am a bit concerned about the rubbery plastic that Hasbro is using more and more in their figures lately. I feel like before long it will start to feel sticky. I bet it's a measure they're using to save even more on costs...

    • @aFoxyFox.

That new plastic, or reports of it, are totally freaking me out. I can't be pre-ordering things then before reviews come in which verify if they will be like that or not, I don't like that tacky (as in gummy), sticky sort of feel, if that is what people mean. I like a "crisper" sort of heavy, sturdy, and full feeling that has solid moves and joints that aren't flimsy or fragile seeming, or bendy either, but not rigid or like they are going to snap easily either. I like when a figure can be manipulated and moves around with ease and without fear about snapping things, and then can also fall a lot without any scratched or damage appearing, and I also like when they feel hefty and "full", rather than hollow or very light like some model kits.
More important than all that though is that they stand, and can stand in nice poses, and look good with good sculpting and paint.
Very little appears special about this figure to me so far, but I haven't watched the video carefully just yet, but the cost is an enormous 76 CAD at the lowest I can find (Ebay from Taiwan), and that is WAY high for what amounts to a pretty poor quality average or ordinary body and costume and just the head-sculpt which has maybe only barely captured the "Jig-saw-ness" as it appears in the original appearance of the character which has different colors involved to create a real "Jig-saw-like" mixed-and-matched appearance of "pieces" of flesh.

Hello! If you don't mind terribly, I'd like to use this comment and comment chain and this video to create a kind of "Office" to discuss the current trial with Depp and Amber Heard. I think people can be re-directed to this video and this comment in order to discuss it if it is on their mind, and that it is particularly appropriate to do so (and might be an interesting experiment to see how much attention it brings to this particular video), since Jigsaw's story is also one of a dispute with Punisher, and the claims of Amber Heard according to the latest testimony are almost to the level of what Jigsaw experienced at the hands of The Punisher, and it has so many "meta-levels" because the Jigsaw story is a fictional one, and Amber Heard's appears to be a fictional one as well.
So, for those who don't want "spoilers", simply skip reading this. I'll keep updating this chain here for the most part if the discussion picks up. Anyone who wants to talk about the Depp and Amber Heard trial, please do so in this comment chain so as not to pollute the rest of the videos or chats with it. David has a policy of remaining neutral and a-political for the most part since this is an entertainment channel and also kids visit here sometimes too even though we're all mainly adults, and I too would probably not be bold enough to study and takes side on any matter if I was even a small-time "public figure" who deals with lots of different people. The reason to avoid discussing these things or taking strong positions is to avoid attracting loony toons from either side who are mentally ill and belligerent types who just go completely nuts in today's internet and media (Murdoch) fueled hyper-divisive culture.
Since I love this channel and it is my only form of internet entertainment, I will try to absorb some of things things myself by being who you can discuss things with at length through the comments, since David has a life, and I'm probably undead.
Now, regarding Amber Heard and the trial, I've taken a strong position after what I've seen, following the trial from the beginning and watching all the testimony and seeing all the evidence so far, including Amber Heard's testifying over two days now. The case is on an 11 day break or something like that, and will resume just before "Labor Day".
In the public sphere, it appears that in reality the average person following the case is against Amber Heard, even passionately against her, and I am of that camp too. There is a small minority of "contrarians", some of which also seem to be projecting stories they seem to claim have happened to them, to continue to prop up Amber Heard as an important symbol for their own cause for justice, but the problem is, this blind sort of politicizing of the issues can allow actual criminals and frauds to manipulate people and harm people who haven't done anything potentially, simply by lying about them and making up accusations and providing no real evidence.
The theme of Jigsaw and Punisher is often "Black and White" but also goes into the "Gray" when dealing with The Punisher seemingly going too far and taking justice into their own hands. After this trial, and even now, Amber Heard is in grave danger from the public attacking and even potentially ending her life over her part in this trial and what people (probably rightfully) perceive as blatant lying on her part, life-destroying sort of lying, and people are taking it very, very, personally. If Amber Heard is executed by some crazed member of the public or harmed in any way, she might return to a "martyr" status potentially, though many people will also say that she definitely seemed to deserve it for lying about anyone the way she seems to be lying about Johnny Depp.
I am not a fan of Johnny Depp, nor have I ever cared about Johnny Depp much, and the most I've seen of him is probably through watching most or all of 21 Jump Street when he was quite young, but I've seen him in a lot of films and never cared for him or his acting, and would never go out of my way to see any of his films because "Ooo, it has Johnny Depp". I am much more fond of actors like Jack Black for example, whereas Johnny Depp is mainly a sort of boring actor that I never cared for, his acting seemed a bit fake and annoying to me, and I personally hate most of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise (I agree with the very only Ninja Reviews Pirates of the Caribbean videos that talk about how much of a mess it is, like the script was loaded into a shotgun and fired out at a wall or something). The Pirates of the Caribbean seemed to be the beginning of the end for films and Disney's poopoo parade of non-sense gibberish live-action films with bad scripts, along with other weird stuff coming out at around the same time period roughly like the Transformers franchise which is also sort of the same "vibe" of "everyone is deaf, blind, and stupid, so who cares, this will sell internationally, no one knows English there!"
I have watched lots of testimony in trials and cases, as well as confessions and video interrogations, and I have also interviewed people concerning lots of things, intimate interviews or interrogations with people delving into all sorts of sensitive subject matter and assistance, and I've dealt with literally hundreds of thousands of people, as has my mother who is a medical doctor. So I feel I have a pretty good grasp on human beings and psychology after all these years, probably more than the average person who does not or has not interacted with so many people in such private and intimate ways or dealing with such matters since my youth and being exposed also to many of the cases my mother would (probably inappropriately lol) discuss in detail at home, and the psychology and reality involved with those, including the physical aspects of things or realities of physical injuries and consequences and stuff like that and the effect on the mind too. Having such a detailed knowledge of human beings, makes me keen on behaviors and "acting" as well, what seems "real", what doesn't, what is odd, what is funny, how to be funny, all of that sort of thing, also how people can be psychologically manipulated, how remarks might be interpreted in various ways, particularly underhanded sorts of remarks, the basis for what people end up saying or trying, all of that, and even tracing things through media and culture to find out the origins for certain ideas, it is like all I do and have done for decades now, and even what my big library of academic books is usually dealing with or about, or what I've gotten those books for and what I look for in them.
The public, and probably the jury, and the judge (even though they aren't supposed to) have most likely made up their mind about this particular case at this point after seeing and hearing what they have until this point. I don't know what the jury will decide, but the majority of people typing comments or in chats seem to be strongly opposed to Amber Heard or what she has said as being true or real, and I can expect most normal people would react in the same way if they listen through everything, which is likely how the jury will respond as well, if they are representative of the average people of this world, who have generally always been suspicious of the vulnerability involved in simply taking the word of someone who might be telling absurd sounding tales without any evidence or any precedent or any logical behaviors or reactions in the stories or right after them. The stories resemble the sort one might hear in a Witch Trial from the past in the level of absurdity involved, and this may shine some light on what happened during those Witch Trials as well, or the kind of people who made such claims and accusations at times.

      Part 2
The two best parts of the testimony so far were Dr. Curry's testimony (The Forensic Psychologist hired by Depp's legal team to analyze Amber Heard and Dr. Curry's highly educational information and predictions about Amber Heard's behaviors and tendencies based on her interviews and assessment of her) and then Amber Heard's own testimony, which will also continue and be cross-examined by Depp's team later. Those two sections, if one wants to quickly get up to date, are the best parts so far, but Depp's witnesses also provide a very honest seeming picture of the reality of things and how Amber Heard is in daily life as well.
Another part that may be helpful for anyone interested to see is Johnny Depp's complete statements on the stand, though it may be a little boring, you can at least get an impression of his character and how he presents himself, then to compare that with the audio that plays and what his witnesses testify to.
Also "damning" to Amber Heard's case, is the little publicized information that Amber Heard has a history of violent abuse against her intimates (partners and friends), and there is video discussing her hitting and bruising her sister as an adult, her hitting and being arrested and staying overnight in jail for hitting her partner (ex-wife now) Tasya Van Ree in public in an airport, and for hitting her female MMA Boxer female "best friend" "Rocky" in the face for no apparent reason, in public, while they were shopping. Her hitting an MMA Boxer also shows that Amber Heard has no fear regarding who she is hitting, as the trained fighter could've killed her basically, but didn't do anything in response except being shocked and disturbed by the sudden violence for seemingly no reason from Amber Heard.
Amber Heard also apparently spat in the face of assistant when the assistant requested a slight raise from the 25 dollars an hour she was being paid to do a huge amount of work including dealing with agents, as well as things like getting the laundry done and catering to all of Amber Heards whims and desires, and so the former assistant testified in court, under oath, that Amber Heard did that to her. Many people testified to Amber Heard throwing things, hitting people with things she threw at them, and basically being a violent, nasty, crazed human being, that also highly resembles a psychopathic "brat" who has never had any reprisal or "return of the favor" for the violence she enacts on others, and has no understanding of what real pain is like as she dishes it out on everyone.
People listened to audio where she is being blatantly manipulative in audio tapes, and then claiming things that she did and she probably did were things that other people had done, even in utter and total defiance of what is recorded and discussed and testified to.
To top it off, she gave what appears to be one of the weirdest, most in-human seeming testimonies that the world has ever seen, where even murderers and lunatics and little children seem to do a better job on the stand or during interrogations of lying or misleading people or seeming genuine, but Amber Heard, a trained actress, seemed incapable of expressing any normal reactions or emotions, switching rapidly between different facial expressions and "lived feelings", and the scariest display of crocodile tears probably anyone has ever seen, as there were no tears at all, no liquid, no fluid sounds from the nose, nothing, yet later (probably after doing what she was not allowed to do and reviewing the case and the public opinion and commentary over the media and internet for feedback, also having information given to her by her partner Eve), she then added more to her performance the next day by wiping away non-existent tears and nasal fluid to a totally dry and not red or pink nose, as the camera is zoomed right in on her face. It scared the bejeezus out of me and most of the world who witnessed it (and it is still available to see online, the two days of the testimony and all the strangeness involved in it).
No matter how weird anyone part of this community may seem to be, or how awkward or whatever, Amber Heard has now set the bar apparently, in the public consensus anyway, for the weirdest weirdo there ever was, and one of the scariest. Like, everyone in the live-call-ins, even the people who appeared during testimony, even the Forensic Psychologist who was hired by Amber Heard's team (who seemed especially corrupt because of how she was telling stories as if she was Amber herself, yet this charlatan has weaseled her way into the top ranks of the psychological association of America and dared to insult Dr. Curry who was a million times more professional. The Amber Heard's Team Forensic Psychologist took the worst notes, and then went back and wrote over her notes with stories of Amber's supposed childhood trauma (at the hands of her parents that she then lovingly remembers during her crazy seeming testimony) over notes about Depp in order that they might be conflated and utterly confusing to anyone reading, absolutely criminal basically).
This is not a criminal trial though, but a defamation trial for 50 million dollars in damages for the contracts lost and damage to Johnny Depp's ability to get further work after the "Op-Ed" or Opinion Editorial written by Amber Heard which implied he had abused her (or everyone took it to assume that is what it was saying) and she never clarified otherwise.

      Part 3
Depp first sued the Sun in the UK but the UK courts and government seemed to be protecting their newspaper from an American trying to sue them for defamation, and so he lost that case, but then after receiving a medal of honor or something in Serbia (lol) he took on the biggest battle of his life by trying to recover his reputation, and also to prove to corporations who might hire him that he does still have fans and is a viable "product" or "brand" to sell the corporate "products" or "brands" and "franchises" besides himself. Currently, in the public sphere and regarding public opinion, he has redeemed himself thus far and has demonstrated that a lot of people support him and like him still and would support products or films he is endorsing or part of.
This all also represents the "counter-swing" to the events of MeToo and other movements, which is currently underway, and has seemingly united the general public more in something most of them can agree upon at large.
Amber Heard recently fired her PR (Public Relations) team apparently and hired a new one, whose function it may be to pay and hire people to go around the internet and try to repair Amber Heard's reputation or claim to support her in the hope that momentum might pick up again for a kind of resistance against the overwhelming dislike people are now feeling towards her after the testimony of Depp's witnesses, her and her team's behavior in court and belligerence and ill-mannered way of dealing with witnesses which bothered most people watching (and seemingly the Judge too), or their buffoonish un-professionalism which was also utterly shocking (one guy Objected to HIMSELF, a SELF-OBJECTION which is just totally nuts for a professional lawyer in a high profile case who is paid a huge amount to be so un-professional as to yell objection to themselves! One of the many shocking and weird moments in this mostly boring case), and their disrespect towards the very kindly and gentle seeming judge too. They are seen as the worst sorts of lawyers and Amber Heard as the freakiest sort of manipulator, who also tries to stare people down to throw them off or manipulate them, which comes off as really bad in comparison to Depp just minding his own business and not looking at people or trying to stare them down and intimidate them like a creep (the way she is always seemingly doing).
What has given me some hope in humanity, is that they maybe aren't all crazy, and that they have joined together in gossiping that mostly appears to be in solidarity about what they are seeing, that they are reading the behavior of Amber Heard as really weird and scary and that they don't like it.
There are people afraid that this sort of thing is going to make "victims of real abuse ignored, the bad guys to run free", but even more concerning is a world where people can just lie about people, destroy their lives and reputations (even putting them in prison) based on nothing but tales they spun and lies they were willing to tell, even out of revenge (which is an age-old tradition of false testimony and slander).
I am an extremely spiritual, mystical, and religious person, and this has really brought my attention to the kind of people who have no sense or reason "not" to do something evil. Like, what might in other words be called, "The Godless" types of people who are utterly unethical and cutthroat, having no sense of appropriate justice or what is a fair response to something, what is equitable and just. People who can simply lie, cheat, steal, kill, and feel they are fine and justified and "why not" and "who is going to stop me?" and "there is no justice, no God, no recompense, no bad karma, no ghost going to haunt me" are freaking demonic basically and extremely dangerous to civil society or in any interactions.
The way Amber Heard was acting from the get go practically (such as buying Depp a blade hoping something would happen with that killer big blade most likely), was showing signs of potentially leading up to killing Johnny Depp and saying "it was self defense" where the real victim and witness can't speak anymore, because she killed them.
Amber Heard appears to be a genuine criminal and psychopathic personality, she is probably one of the most scary high-profile people the public has gotten to see, and her rapid rise to fame is also highly disturbing, because no one that freaking psycho and dangerous should have that much money and power and resources (but they very often do, including the wacko children they tend to produce as well, who have the "cutthroat" "exploitative" gene that seems to get some apathetic and moral-free people up to the top through any means necessary or even unnecessary, just purely violent and underhanded and vile sorts of methods to get ahead quickly in life or "hustle" and "conquer").
So, currently, in the view of the majority of the ordinary public (despite money seemingly going towards the Media's efforts to try to spin things in favor of Amber Heard), Amber Heard is the definition of a villain on display.
Her story, full of extreme graphic violence, was like a cartoon or comic book, and seemingly pieced from the real life stories of other people, as well as films, and so many times she copy and pasted absurd parts of her stories repeatedly in other sections, so that the same things occur over and over and over in different incidents, practically verbatim and without any differences. Every hallmark of a false story or a false testimony appeared to be present, and it left people shocked and floored that someone could lie this openly, this clearly. Everyone probably also patted themselves on the back at how much better liars we all probably are in comparison, because this was obnoxiously bad, so bad that the question remained "what sane person could believe this obvious performance of untruth to the max?"

    • @aFoxyFox.
      @aFoxyFox. 2 роки тому

      Part 4
The catastrophic violence she claimed occurred, with non-sensical elements where she keeps on returning repeatedly within seconds to experience even more catastrophic violence over and over and over again, with claims of such catastrophic bodily damage, and then immediately aterwards, showing pictures of herself supposedly right after the violence with NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER OF WHAT SHE HAD JUST DESCRIBED AS HAPPENING, and that was HER OWN EVIDENCE she was presenting, could've made anyone gasp out how her already insane sounding story has that as proof. Like, has she not seen a single image in her life of what real damage, even innocuous light damage, leaves people with? People have huge amounts of swelling, redness, blood with even the slightest things happening to them, and what she described would've basically murdered someone, she claimed that she was basically murdered flat out, like she has no comprehension of what a real body (and especially one as fragile and small as hers) can actually handle and experience, like she is basically mentally handicapped or something (making her even more dangerous since she probably thinks she can do things to the degree she described and that the cartoon bodied people can survive it with no serious damage).
I won't go into the details of the insane stuff that she described, but I know full-well what was described should look like in images, and what she showed was literally nothing, as if she thinks she and the forensic psychologist fraud her team hired can just hypnotize and convince people with words alone.
Also, the fraud woman she hired was trying to, in a very heavy-handed and utterly politically incorrect and inappropriate and unprofessional way, try to manipulate the jury by constantly referring to vague and hypothetical graphic abuse scenarios as being done by "he, him, the gentleman" in order to very clearly put in the minds of people that men are exclusively physical and violent abusers and to make people imagine Depp doing all these things, which was totally sick of her to do that, but she did it so overtly, that probably everyone noticed it, and it was wrong, she was trying to totally manipulate using "suggestion" and hypnotic methods to mess with the audience, which is absolutely unethical and wrong to do. What a freaking j*ck*ss!
Repeatedly, Amber Heard's team would constantly lose favor with who they were questioning, by being unnecessarily accusative, belligerent, rude, tedious, just being the most annoying effs you could ever imagine, making lawyers and trials and everything seem like the most nasty bunch of people around.
Depp's legal team seem to actually be passionate about the case and about justice and Depp, seemingly taking it personally and being totally disgusted with everything going on and genuinely furious, which is great, that kind of righteous rage, yet they behave so decently and well-mannered and civil in comparison to the other team who seem to be practically barbaric and numbskull clowns.
So, whereas I never cared about any of these people, and still don't, because I find their (seemingly even current addictions and attachments to vice and spiritual sort of "lostness") to be really disturbing to me, after seeing the biggest and most pathetic apparent demonstration of overt lying that I've EVER seen in all my 35 years so far, Amber Heard has set a new bar for what now makes so many formerly insane things and people seem a whole lot better and more sane somehow.
Also, Amber Heard is a big signal to a lot of people to be extremely cautious about "too good to be true" sorts of scenarios where people might be showing bad signs, but a person ignores it because they like the idea that a beautiful looking person is giving them a lot of affection and attention and acting emotional about them. Nah! Not worth it! Omg Johnny Depp probably regrets ever leaving Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his children, and the great and peaceful and happy life he had before becoming intoxicated further and in an apparent mid-life crisis and getting what seems to be so many men's worst nightmare attached to himself.
He too is in gave danger, as these psychopathic types are extremely egotistical and obsessed with "wealth" and notions of "winning vs. losing" and so may even organize funds to try to get someone to harm, harass, or even end of the life of Johnny Depp, so basically Depp will always be in danger so long as the main source remains alive sadly. It is THAT serious in my opinion, no game, no joke.
For example, there are women who have divorced their husbands, then gotten another guy to murder their husbands even years later, they never let go or give up because they have to have revenge and "win". Seriously nightmarish stuff, totally terrifying, and most of the world has apparently gotten to see just a taste of what someone like that might appear to be like.
Before Amber Heard took the stand and said what she said the way she said it, I didn't care as much overall, but I didn't believe the allegations of abuse, but now after she has taken the stand and provided some of her testimony and it is batsh*t unbelievable to the max, the most unbelievable, poor re-telling of made up seeming stuff that I've ever seen (worth seeing as an actor too), I'm both totally terrified of her and people like her, and completely against her, completely against everything she is saying and claiming, so she probably really did herself and her case and reputation a huge amount of damage by having the over-confidence to come on and testify and think she will confuse and stupefy these people she probably feels are all so dumb and below her, which is also how her team's Forensic Psychologist was acting too, but to a lesser and still more normal or human degree in comparison. The whole Amber team and witnesses so far appear to be the clear "villains" of the story.
It is sort of a Pop Culture "Must See" in many ways, possibly the biggest and most watched televised case in history, similar to the O.J. Simpson Trial, but with much lower stakes involved.
