- Here is a "re-upload" of my unboxing and review video for the BIG BANG BAR pinball reproduction machine. This game was hand-built by Pinball Manufacturing in Illinois and only 190 were ever produced (only a dozen of the original machines were made by Capcom Pinball back in 1996 before they closed).
Mine is numbered 34 out of 190.
It was originally the SECOND video I uploaded to UA-cam after signing on back in 2007. But, the "quality" settings are much better now so...I wanted to give it a better showing. Thanks for watching!!

Watched that video 10 years ago, and it was probably the video that initiated my curiosity and love for pinball. Such quality content, something so rare on youtube these days.
Thanks for igniting my passions 10 years ago 🙌
i had no idea capcom even made pinball games! thats cool! it's also cool that you got one of only a very few! luckiest guy i know!
Thanks for making this fantastic video! Really a great overview of the game.
I was involved in the designing of this game, and I haven't seen it since it was being assembled on the line! Unfortunately, I'm a long drive from you, otherwise I'd be begging at a chance to come by and play it!
Glad to see it was reproduced for enthusiasts, and they did a pretty damn great looking job of it, too.
You're videos of Pinball and TurboGrafx 16 är the best on youtube!
So it was YOUR Big Bang Bar that was used in the P3 Tournament at Rochester 2008!
ahh man i wish i had a pinball machine!
Great video!
Just another gem in the Kings' crown! Good luck Mr. Adams!
lmao at the tube dancer !! that is excellent !!
ive never seen this pinball game before but i love it just by looking at this vid. would love to play it, but something tells me its ultra rare. great vid tho dude !!
@nick12882 Actually, this version of BBB is a couple minutes longer (with more interviews) than the one I originally posted. Otherwise, it's the same.
Truthfully, part of me almost didn't re-upload them because I HATE the way I look. But, at least the quality is better now. Ha ha.
Thanks!
Yeah, it's too bad. I think they saw the writing on the wall before prototypes were even completed. Sigh! :( Thanks for watching.
This was one of your funniest videos Besides "My Pinball Collection" Gagreel
Hey, I enjoy watching your videos. Wish I could have a pin collection like yours, but I'm still fortunate to have this and other great machines on location in my vicinity!
Thank you for another great and funny video,Pinball look really beautiful
Man, I wish this was on Pinball Arcade!
mike quil
mike quilez, Especially with the new "Glow-Ball" feature on The Pinball Arcade, it would look great.
They’ve mentioned on their Twitch streams that they are working on/planning on a special version of TPA which will have more adult themed tables.
@MrDebauch Thanks a lot. I spent a lot of time on it a few years ago and...I'm glad to share it.
@phoenixlich Yes, it was a subsidiary of Capcom that developed pinball here in the US. Many of the people who ran the thing were actually ex-Williams employees (such as Mark Ritchie). They didn't make many games overall because of various reasons, but they were really doing a great job (and it almost is a shame they weren't allowed to move forward farther, you know?).
Thanks for watching!
@Ferny84 Ha ha. Wow. That's a good question. I'm afraid to ask. Lol. Thanks for watching.
Such a good video, thank you for making!!! Found your channel and love it, because of searching for this table. Your awesome man I love the vids!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!
Oh....cool no problem. Well, they were originally an investment of $4500. Now they go it seems for about three times that or so (depending on where you find it, ha ha). Thanks for watching.
Excellent pinball and excelent video, congratulations for sharing them with us!!!! Your friends must be proud of you, sincerely.
hey that was great, what an excellent film
Ok, thanx. Hopefully I will be able to find some good pics of the head side art somewhere. The cabinet work I can get, I just have to clean it up and improve the quality of the images abit. Thanks again eric
Chris, Think I seen you playing the CV I bought at Pinfest., or maybe you were playing Scared Stiff. Should have introduced myself. Great Video!
@HornetFellow Thanks a lot. Obviously, this one and the Family Guy one were HUGE projects (verses the impromptu ones I do now). I wish I had the time to do indepth stuff like this for everything. Ha ha.
Thanks for watching!
@TwigsInc It is a fun little game. It's just neat having something..."very rare" and special. You know? Ha ha.
Thanks for watchin'!
@xhardwarex Hey! Yes, that was probably me. I haven't played a CV since I sold mine about eight years ago. It was fun digging into it again.
Congrats on the purchase!! :)
Nice video! I heard about you through Pete's channel, and I'm impressed! Your videos that I've seen so far have been top notch, and look professional! I subscribed, and definitely look forward to more videos from you!
@fvgotch Thanks a lot. I'm glad you enjoy it!!
wow I had no idea Capcom produced pinball machines, cool!
@nick12882 As I said in my description, because of the higher-quality UA-cam has now (and also, I don't have to split it into two anymore).
Great video... well done.
@BarbieOnWeed Hey, thanks a lot BarbieOnWeed! :) :)
Your vids are great Chris, really enjoy them.
@boverhof3 Why do you hate pinball? Just curious of the reason.
Thanks for watching, as always!
You were pretty lucky to get this in 2007. Now i'm hoping to get my own BBB, and I think I found a website to find one, but I'm waiting a couple of years before I actually get it. XD
@ChrisMolyneaux93 Yeah! Totally. Thanks for watching!
Screen-printed. :)
Thanks for watching.
love it!!! your videos warm my heart!
@TheLumberjackass Ha ha. Yeah...not the easiest in the world to find in order to "play" (since there are under 200 of them out there). Thanks as always
@TheNukedgamer Thanks for watching!
What I think is worse is the attitude of Capcom's decision to eliminate their pinball division, it's not like they were losing much money over this department. Also, I am surprised they didn't tie in any of their other franchises in order to get some popularity for some machines (e.g. USA version of Mega Man Pinball or Street Fighter Pinball [instead of letting Gottlieb screw up the license]), they just created original games. Jersey Jack Pinball isn't even that gutsy (at least for now).
I love your videos and your collection.
Nice video and fun to watch. Take care now.
Man that looks like a really cool pin, that's too bad it never got an official release by Capcom.
Fantastic video!! Wow you realy are a pinball head. More so than a Turbografx head??!
This looks wucking funderful! I wish it got a wider release. :~(
you need to do more vids like this chris!
has this video ever been on your channel before, i remember seeing this... i think.
@spida1a gotcha! makes sense looks great quality now.
@crocodile2linux Thanks my friend!
Hey, thanks a lot my friend!!! :)
@TheWiiHackerz They aren't really worth mentioning..mostly just things in the "rules" of the game. I like it a lot. I rarely get to play any of my games (since I mostly stopped collecting about 2008) so I can't really say right now. It definitely gets OLD, just like they all do. As for a keeper, I would love it to be (as its unique and wonderful). :)
Thanks for watching!
Do you know if the playfield was screen printed, or was a decal used prior to clear coat?
Nice machine.
@johan123326 Thanks for watching!
@metalcoola Thanks metacoola. As always, I appreciate it!
Honestly....I have been priced out of the market now. So, I'm not a good one to ask. You know? Ha ha. Some people would say yes, some would say no. I'm sure it'll be great! Best wishes!!!
How much or how many were made?
@Dsvkb Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. I wish I had time so I could put as my effort into the vids today like I did when I created this one. Ha ha. :)
Thanks again!
@Konuvis It is really fun. I like it. :)
Thanks!
i wish they made darkstalkers out of a pinball machine because darkstalkers is one of my favourite capcom games
@TheLoadingScreenz I uploaded it here first back in 2007 originally. :)
Hi Chris, I was wondering if it would be possible to get High res pics of the sideart and Head art of your BBB. I am working on a Pinball project and can't find any good quality photo's anywhere. I want to Incorperate some of the art from BBB into my project. If you could help that would be awesome, if not, thanks anyways and keep up the great vids. DK aka Eric.
@TopGHZ Yes.
Ha! Thanks my friend. ;)
@ThePinballSmith Of course my friend. Sure! :)
Very nice! Do I dare ask what the price tag was on these at time they were released?
Thanks so much!!!
very good video and yes it's a fun pinball to play, except in the digital world of VR.
@spida1a no problem man. I have a pinball machine myself 1978 "vegas" cocktail pin made by game plan.
so nice.. unfortunally we ll don t see on pinball arcade. this is the reason i m making a repro...myself . it cost too much!!!
@nlafavore Ha ha! Yes it was! I donated it to the tournament (and also brought my Taxi to the show in the free-play area). ;)
@dogmd7 Thanks a ton!
@djargus Hey, thanks my friend. I would love to go someday! :)
How would one get this pinball?! Love you videos as always, man.
loves it
pretty sure I saw that guy Bruce in a different youtube video touring the Jersey Jack Pinball factory lol
@sygo7g Ah, yes. Data East Simpsons. Good little game. I played that and Back to the Future side-by-side waaaaaaay back in the day. Ha ha. :)
@paridisegrowth Ha ha. We need a "love" button here, eh? :)
Thanks a lot!
i played a big bang bar
it's a very very very very cool machine.
it's weird that's not in the top ten on ipdb.org
@spida1a I hope you make a trip to Asbury Park one day (or maybe you already have) for the pinball museum. I am in the town next door to there and have a membership there (if you give me a heads up, I can get you in for free as my guest for the day). You make great videos and I enjoy them. I hope your move to Manhattan went well and I hope your machines will follow you along shortly. :) Take care.
Hey spida i am going to purchase a jersey jack hobbit limited edition pinball do yuo think it is worth the high cost for a wide body with a 26 inch back glas lcd screen
it is 7500
Ha ha. Yeah, totally. They are amazing. They were $4500. :)
Hey, can you tell me, where you got the sounds from?
how much ! Sorry i'm french :D wanted to know how much for a repro like yours !
@condeszadek Which Simpsons game did you play? Simpsons Pinball Party? If so....that is not an easy table by any means. So, don't beat yourself up too much. It's a complex one. Ha ha. :) :)
To improve just keep practicing. Maybe find someone who has some games so you can play for "free' (and not waste a TON of money practicing, ha ha).
Thanks!
@spida1a your movies are great!
How much do you think machine #1 would sell for?
This game could have saved Capcom Pinball, if only they let it be released... :(
@spida1a I am not sure of rarity of cocktail pins.
how many it cost ?
@nick12882 Oh yeah? Cool. I haven't seen that one before I don't believe.
@futurematt5 Ha ha. Total pinhead! Totally! :)
Hmm....I'm not sure which one I am the bigger nerd at. Ha ha!!
Do you still have the machine?
@123doomdoom Yay! I feel like I am doing some good in the world. Ha ha. :)
Wow just $4500.00 and now worth double if not triple that amount!!!!!!
Even higher than that. Its often considered the holy grail of pinball collecting.
@spida1a Yeah, I've only played it on Virtual Pinball. I'd have to go to your house just to play it!
@spida1a only 4500 what an great invesment.
@drunkeykong12 Hi Eric! Unfortunately I do not have my BBB with me at the moment (they are all in storage as I moved to Manhattan). I don't have any high-rez stuff to give you. Sigh!!!!!
:(
why are you reposting all of these videos?
