this is hard because it takes a lot of mental power to pull yourself out of a depressive slump but it’s do-able! take things slow and start with small things like tidying your area, having a shower and then progress into bigger tasks. 30% is better than 0% so give yourself some credit for trying. once you get into the routine and holding yourself accountable again, it gets easier. knowing what is good for our bodies like moving and fuelling our bodies really helps too, as hard as it is. I feel my most anxious and in a deep slump when I’m not eating properly, or not looking after my body so it’s definitely worth finding some good fulfilling foods you like & finding an enjoyable form of movement ( walk with podcast, dog walking, with a friend, yoga etc ) that you can look forward to. seeing a professional is always a good idea as well and there is NO shame in seeing someone, even just for a chat! i’ve been feeling so so good since seeing my therapist and i highly recommend 💌 you can pull yourself out, I believe in you 🤍
im struggling with my anxiety so much over the last 2 years, recently started anxiety meds which dont work, and its made me gain so much weight, im scared to leave my house, scared to do anything because i feel faint, i need to get my shit together, im hoping little stuff like this helps, gives me hope i can recover
i was in this exact same boat and the only thing that helped me was therapy & working on exposure. it's so hard but i'm still very much dealing with anxiety everyday but it's less demanding & less restricting. there's help for you out there & your life will return to what it once was, don't let anxiety convince you otherwise! 🤍
I am doing my gratitude in an app called presently! I've been consistent with it for more than 255 days. The app counts the days! I must say, I love doing a gratitude list. It warms my spirit with joy!
