Global Health Seminar Series: Shaping Health Policy - From development to practice

The policy environment is a complex ecosystem involving multiple stakeholders with different priorities and interests. Wider determinants of health such as politics, culture and socioeconomic issues impact the adoption and success of health policies. In this webinar, we will give an overview of how policy, regulation and health systems interact and their impact on population and individual health. Using real-world examples, it will discuss the policy life cycle from agenda setting to implementation and evaluation, the actors in policy development and the different levers and tools to implement health policies at a national and global level.
This webinar will give an understanding of the process of health policy development and its application in real-world settings.
