Long fish room videos = best videos. Cheers Nick
Literally the best
Também tem feito um bom.
Trabalho! Um abraço de um colega de Portugal no hobby.
Nano fish = Mega smiles
Eliza's got a super collection of fishes. Love her enthusiasm and her honesty. We all have our failures. She definitely has more success than failures. BTW, Nick, adding salt does not raise the hardness, only the conductivity.
Hey Nick, if I ever get down under add Eliza's fishroom as one of the places to visit!
I love what you do. I recently had to give up the hobby to care for my partner who has end stage kidney disease so no time or money. Elyza has my dream fish room and fish! Thank you for letting me live vicariously through your work!
Bless you for caring for your partner. That pulls my heart strings
Love putting your videos on while tending to my fish room
Elyza's fishroom is fantastic! First time I have seen video of pseudomugil connieae! Nice!
So happy that you posted this video now! I was just sitting in my sofa, searching online for some new, fun or interesting nano fish :D
Those breeder boxes with uplifts look familiar 😅 fairly sure those are some I printed and sent to Elyza
Eliza is amazing. I really enjoyed this video. Great listening voices and quiet background music. What a beautiful fish room, with so many interesting things happening.. :)
Wonderful to see all the cool fish and her passion for them. Fingers crossed for the Scarlet Badis!
Thanks guys so much for the breakdown on grindal worms. My fish club sometimes has free cultures but mine always crash after a few months so I'll be switching up from dirt + sponge to the peat and plastic screen method. Here's to hoping I can keep a culture going for 3+ months with this method.😂✌️
After your last tour with Elyza, I was inspired to buy myself a 2 ft tank and create a natural river style scape. I'm now waiting for it to mature and letting the plants grow in a little. I'm hoping to buy some native nano fish from Elyza and yourself soon. Just have to decide which ones.... OK, Now I think I might need to set up another tank for some Shell Dwellers.
Thank you! We got our rice fish from Elyza and they are so happy and healthy. I love seeing where they came from.
great video Nick I love this lady! so much to learn. will watch this over and over ty
My orange shrimp just had babies I’m gonna upgrade to a bigger tank and add a couple nanos thanks so much man your videos and I love your passion for the hobby really got me though a tough spot in my life love bro be safe
Love this well done Elyza and Nick !!

The sheer amount of knowledge and care put into these videos. Thank you so much, mate. It's truly astounding to find such high quality content on UA-cam. Keep up the good work!

What an amazing fish room. Thanks for sharing this!
Absolutely awesome set up. Amazing collection.
Very nice sharing and beautiful long fish room 💗💗💗💗!!
Thanks for sharing, Nick🙂
Elyza, u are amazing!
Greets from the Center of Germany.😊
Time to see oodles of Pseudomugil types that will be impossible to find here in the US but that I absolutely fall in love with... Heartbreak 💔
But nano fish are my absolute groove so I'm sure I'll really enjoy this video regardless of the heartbreak of loving blue eyed cuties I can't find anywhere. ✌️
I love these long format tours and discussions. They are so interesting and there are so many little tit bits of knowledge you pick up while watching.
Nice video I her fish room super Nick🐟
She definitely has an excellent setup! Thanks for sharing 😊
We captured ornamental fish in Brazil, congratulations on the video
I LOVE THESE VIDEOS
SO CALMING, INFORMATIVE ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love these videos.
YAYYY AWESOME!!!
an amazing fish room. Thanks for sharing.
56:06 That ice tray idea is a fantastic idea for a cheap shallow tank. I think I’ll steal that idea for a future project.
maybe put a glass top on and make a table out of it. Maybe a school of rice fish 🤷♂️
Another awesome video and great fishroom and aquarist Elysa! It was great to meet you and Harland at the MASI meeting tonight, have fun at Gary s tomorrow Cheers!
Thanks🎉
I love these fry boxes I use them at home. Love your setup the fish are amazing
If i could live in this basement i wouldn't be upset 😅 I'm so obsessed with fish and shrimp, and i can't wait for my babies to grow and big n strong!! Australia def needs more rasboras and super bright nano fish.

Love this fish room
The Flag Fish is native to Florida.
Amazing video; you can feel the passion both you and Elyza have for the hobby and business. Might need to invest in a 3D printer 😆
Can you do more breeding videos? Great fish!!
Those shelldwellers 🥰😍❤️
Very nice
Great tour thanks. She lives 10k from me, I will buy some soon if pickup is available. Next time we need to see the ponds !
Try adding some small pvc pipes for the peacock gudgeons they breed super easy that way
I keep eastern rainbows and hardy heads in an above ground pool all year around so you'll have no problems keeping them outside.
Cool fish room, cool chick
Nice
Nick can you make another vid on how to sell fish
Superb
@nick what does “dirpy” mean trying to get on point with my Aussie terms when I visit from TX bro lol 🤘🏼🤘🏼 love the video thanks for stopping off in the US to swing by the greats Greg sage video maaaann love it #jealous bra
Btw. My favorite Xiphos are X. andersi, X. clemenciae & X. signum🥰
Are there any breeders focusing on selectively breeding Rhads to improve their colours?
Another very interesting video, Nick.
Although @13.05 you mention the "mellis" but the close up footage of the fish is what looks like gertrudae.
Mellis (Honey Blue Eyes) look completely different. Was the footage mixed up somehow?
Bagladas ❤❤
I have never seen some of those here in the US.
I wonder if the breeding trays are the ones designed by Lowell's fish labs? He made a similar design as I recall
Nano Fish > any other fish
I keep my cpds at 75f. I have 2 males and 3 females in a 10 gallon tank. I have an air lift system as well. Every 2 or three days I'll get anywhere from 20 to 40 eggs but I'm having trouble with hatch rate. Only around 10 percent will hatch. I'm going to put Indian almond leaves in with the eggs like u guys showed to c if it helps. I feed live bbs every other day religiously and I've found if I keep the lights as low as possible and keep a lot of top water floating plants the fish r more willing to breed
Pls show gold fish 🐟
Please please breed chili rasboras! I’ve looked around and can’t find any reliable info.. is there a book or something? I really want to breed mine but after 6 months trying I’m still empty handed
Are there 3d print plans for her fry trays available somewhere?
Lowell's fish lab has a video
ua-cam.com/video/16aFdagCLGk/v-deo.htmlsi=yaOzAc-BKHCr--FM
I recognized them too! They mentioned Lowell and he has a video on them. Super cool! ua-cam.com/video/16aFdagCLGk/v-deo.htmlsi=34QqYHZuaSD4bYgp
Check out the channel “Lowell’s Fish Lab” It’s his design and he has many videos about them. I’m sure you can get ahold of the info. there. Best of luck.
Cool, UA-cam deleted my comment saying what above just said basically except with a YT url... 16aFdagCLGk?si=yaOzAc-BKHCr--FM
Literally first video recommended in Lowell's channel.
i just say lowells fish labs post about how his breeding trays are now available in the US and Australia and then i click on this video
shoutout Lowell's fish!
Florida Flag Fish is a killifish, Jordanella floridae
Can you please tell me the brand and size of the containers used for the micro worms and banana worms?
Great collection. What was the name of the shell dweller with the lyretail on the male? Didn't catch the scientific name. Thanks
Hi, Neolamprologus Calliurus is the one.
I so want some of those shell dwellers they have been a goal for a while. But couldn’t afford the ones I wanted at the time and filled my tanks with other fish. 🤦♂️ can you mix different types together or do they need separate tanks?
❤
niceeeeeee
Where can I get the file to print the breeding trays?
Where do you get your tanks Elyza?
Are the STL's for those prints available for purchase anywhere online? I was very impressed and would pay money for the files
!

No Cpds? Did I miss them?
👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing collection of fish. my question is when is Elyza going to start breeding the Florida flagfish? I've looked for them lot's of places here in Aus, but every website says that they are out of stock.
Where are you? , I’m in Perth and found some locally at the bird and fish place
@@lornihayley1868 I'm in Townsville
the Florida Flags are native to florida
Hi
Anyone have the stl file for that fish hatchery? Looks 3d printed
I recognized them too! They mentioned Lowell and he has a video on them. Super cool! ua-cam.com/video/16aFdagCLGk/v-deo.htmlsi=34QqYHZuaSD4bYgp

What wore the tetras that lay in caves
i suppose it is not a bettas but a dario or badis species
Have to ask, since I love(!) my Pseudomugil luminatus... I haven't managed to get mine to spawn. I think that i have too many males compared to females. Because the males show off a lot and everyone seem happy. They live in a 54L with a lot of plants, perfect water parameters and so on. But no eggs or fry :( Is there any other Pseudomugil that's easier?
I live really on the other side of the planet, in Sweden, far up north in Europe, and the luminatus are difficult to find and expensive as well, so I really wanted to get more from the ones I bought...
@NinniAquariums P.luminatus are notorious for eating their own eggs and preying on their fry.
A trick I will try, learned from Fish E-Z, is to put only one female with 2 males (sounds counter intuitive, but …) When you have 2 or more females, while one is going in the mop to spawn, others will follow to gobble the eggs. 2 males will sparr, but are more interested in breeding than in eating the eggs.
As soon as the female approches the mop, the males will drive her to lay or she will go away. That way, females enter the mop escorted to lay but will probably stay away when not ready to lay, not eating their eggs.
I guess I will use a 5 gallons to hold 2 males and a breeding mop and put a conditioned female and a fresh mop daily. 🤔
I will keep my females in a 10 gallons, with tons of livefood and play musical fish from the 10 the the spawning tank. 😊
@@user-ke2vt9mo5w Yeah... I've heard that too... It feels so sad just having three of them together though. I guess I will give it a try, because now I only have two females left and not that many males.
Please tell me the name of the tetra she has that is a cave or crevice spawner. 😊
They are the Black Darter Tetra - Poecilocharax weitzmani
thai clip hua kuai .... ku yaak dou pla .... .... O.K.
Her breeder Bristlenose Plecos are so small lmao
What are the fish called in 17:32?
They are Pseudomugil Ivantsoffi
What were the fish that cost $120 called?
It's a Badis Badis; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badis_badis
@handpickedaquatics423 thank you, I'd like one like the black one in the video. If you could ship to the US, I'd love to get some from youm
People who watched the whole thing without skipping.❤❤❤
