One of the big surprises I have from those who review this is how many of them don't ask their girlfriends, partners female colleagues etc to rate it compared to other date fragrances. As quite bluntly this is Date for men so its how it performs compares to other date fragrances to the ladies is key.
Put it side by side to some of the top date fragrances and let a few ladies blind test and pick their favourite. That is the only way ot really test this considering what it is aimed at.
If Jeremy sold those fragrances for $40 the entire community would support him, and he would make good money,he his trying to be like the creed developers and failing at it.

@Bill Corben 50ish per bottle??? Aha no way. Most fragrances cost £10 a bottle MAX, even Jeremy said it in one of his videos. The fragrance world is one of the most steepest when it comes to production to the consumer cost.
I have it. I wasn't very impressed by office but I really like this one. People say it is overpriced but so is Tom Ford and this is extremely wearable. Better than ultramale to me

MAGACOP ehhh no... the juice is usually not what drives cost, except in some specific niche releases. it is all in the branding. even most niches are overpriced. there’s a small selection of notes (REAL NATURAL ouds, rose, neroli, etc.) that ARE truly ridiculously expensive, but designer fragrances do NOT use these. they use cheap, effective accords and synthetics to reproduce their effects. even most niche “ouds” are most likely going to be less than .5% oud, and the rest will be generic wood accords and musks. Those Francis Kurdjian fragrances are not ACTUALLY $500 worth because of their formulation cost. hell, probably not even $50 most of the time.
@MAGACOP I can afford $300 frags. Jeremy's bullshit juices are not worth wasting money on. They smell like $50 (max) unoriginal frags.
@MAGACOP That anology only makes sense if the fragrances were Ferrari level, they're not. Yes I bought office so it's not a cost factor as in people can't afford them, but you've got a VW Passat fragrance for BMW M5 money. Just because Jeremy says there were no cost limitations doesn't mean they're expensive to make, if the brief was to design a Fiat Panda that would appeal to everyone, you don't create a Ferrari.
Jeremy isn't buying a lot, but doesn't sell anywhere else, uses a cheap website, cheap packaging and does his own advertising. He's been sending more of batch 3 Office and Date to youtubers this time and the 50% deal seems to always be on. I bought batch 2 in the same deal.
What is most strange about your comment though is claiming you don't want to smell like everyone else so you want the price higher, well Fragrance One fragrances are not for you then, they're not in the slightest bit unique. You should look to niche frags.

I got 4 compliments when I wore it the first time (at a club). I did not expect that at all. I know it smells very nice.....but this blew my mind. People even followed me around, just to ask me what I am wearing 🙃. It’s maybe not that unique like some niche fragrances. But it definitely has a twist to it and smells amazing! And trust me.....the ladies love it.

I own office and ive grown to enjoy it very much, received many compliments from people at work and random strangers, i dont agree with the price, maybe if it was in 80 to 90 dollar range, also ill be picking up date for men next week, enjoyed the video Dallas and i cant wait for my next samples from fragrance match

What bottle? Black or Clear? They sent me wrong bottle. Lady in house blindly said without knowing anything about it. That it smells like clean toilet. Since I have been wearing even with 3 sprays. Giving headaches. Wondering if new bottle is anything less then the weird scent I got.

Be prepared to get a ton of compliments from women for Date for Men. It seems to be a huge hit with a bunch of women. Men have different taste so you might not like it personally. Just like how men tend to favor Aventus more than women and you have men spending $450 a bottle 🤦♂️

MAGACOP the price matters though in a review! If this was a £30 fragrance it would be a good fragrance but because it’s so expensive £180 there are much better options on the market at half the price. So yes! The price matters

Does he usually mention the price on his reviews? Also, some people like high prices so that they won't smell like a bunch of other people. If Aventus was cheap, everyone would smell like it and it would of been out of style a long time ago.
Another Alberto Morillas masterpiece, very mass appealing and mature smell. I do not get similarities with other fragrances on my skin. The oud comes out very light at the dry down. I love the smell.
Nicely done! I've always had an issue with the price of both of these. Date: $321.00 CAD, Office: $233.00 CAD plus any shipping and taxes. I'm not cheap and have blind bought plenty of high end, proven and well reviewed fragrances, but these prices are too much for a blind buy. Also, 2 for 1 is not helpful f you don't like the fragrance. Good for Jeremy, but it's a hard pass on both of these...rather pick up Elysium or Creed Royal Oud.

eBay has cologne samples but honestly, I'm considering getting the subscription the guy in the video has going on. 2 samples a month for 9.99..that's actually really good deal...9.99 online,even eBay will get you a very small sample of anything in the high end range. better sample deals are on mid tier category. This guy and his company have a really great deal..Just curious to how many fragrances there will be to choose from..but pretty sure they just started this fairly recently. So it can only get better. This guy is legit
In my personal opinion, this smells like a 40$ fragrance. It doesn't smell bad but kind of like a non-offensive generic designer with a sweetness just on the verge of being cloying. And at this price point, there are countless better options from anything from Herod to Layton to tolu to santal complet to enigma parfum cologne.

People paying the exorbitant prices that his perfume range comes with honestly need their heads checked … absolutely ridiculous especially when you can get quality designer oils for under $30 from the likes of Bentley .. heck I´d even hazard a guess that the quality made Bentley for men bottles have cost more to produce than JF´s cheap looking bottles + the juice

This is basically JPG Ultra Male, lol.
I definitely get the Ultra Male vibes in the opening but it's not a clone or anything. It's like a tangier, darker take on that DNA. And as annoyed as I was at the similarity to Ultra Male in the opening, it definitely goes in it's own direction in the mid and dry down and now I see it totally differently. If you really give this one some wearings, it's really not as mainstream as you'd think. Ultra Male transitions into a vanilla bomb with that Le Male backbone...whereas Date has more of a tangy/spicy/skanky vibe from the mandarin, cardamom and oud respectively. I know people aren't picking up on the oud too much but I definitely get a funky, skanky oud creeping around the edges in the dry down...It's what makes me like this fragrance actually. I can't defend the price though....waaay too much for what it is.....I was also thinking it wasn't a really a date fragrance but the more I think about it, that's probably the best place for it just know your audience...Overall not bad and despite the UM comparison I still find it pretty unique and daring. I could see Parfums de Marly releasing a scent like this...In a bottle like Kalan but dark purple instead of red maybe
My bottle of Date has weak projection and longevity. Super dissatisfied, nice smelling though. Good review, you pretty much nailed it.

Are you sure it’s not nose fatigue? Mine lasted all day, & I still detect it on my wrists the next day after a shower.
Bad projection is a bad thing. But you don't want a lot of projection on a date fragrance.
First spray 30 min ago, I thought I still had ultra male on since it was on my clothes earlier! Interested in catching the dry down, since when I showered the woody notes really came out
I don't know about this one projection for me on this one is really good I'm wearing it right now and it's in the middle of January and it's pushing hardcore

A girl just told me that I smelled like Christmas when I wore Date for Men🎄 definitely has a sweet, aromatic scent and I like the drydown. Very pleasant to smell tbh. I reach for this one when I’m in an enclosed space, doesn’t project loudly at all.

Hi, I enjoyed the format of the video. I have tried office and date. I too at moment prefer office though will give date some more time. From date opening it reminded me of AF first instinct and ultra male, very sweet and fruity opening. I prefer date to these two as it performs better for my skin. The dry down is very nice, I can’t describe it, the fruitiness and sweetness dies down and get a different smell but it does not smell like Oud that I’m used to smelling. I get so many compliments from office compared to other blue fragrances, I think it gets noticed more than BDC for example in my skin atleast.
Is very similar (not 100% equal) to Zara Grey Soul layer with Zara Blue for Him, close enough to my nose. This video is very informative thank you.

Got it a week ago.. Honestly very expensive for the quality.. For me I prefer D&G the one or UltraMale for date.. Both more cheaper and better projection. But the dating king is YSL La Nuit De L'homme, its my safe dating fragrance.

My first impression. Immediately I thought of invictus legend and 1 million lucky. I sprayed both to see if I could match it and it was pretty close. I didn’t get the oud in the fragrance. Overall I like it. Worth the price? No. I did purchase it with the two for one special Jeremy ran. I’m keeping one and either selling or decanting the other.
Jeremy fragrance should do a review on most hyped and overpriced fragrances and add his to the list...

When I first heard him say he was reminded of two fragrances Ultra Male immediately came to my mind for some reason.
Great review I totally agree with you I don’t think this is anything special really. I sprayed this on my jacket about a week ago and keep getting wafts of it when ever I walk past the far drydown does have an earthy Oud smell to it witch I like but freshly sprayed it’s nothing special and for the price it’s not worth it. I prefer office more my style I like fresh citrus fragrances 👌
On office, I felt like he did what he said he'd do. I also agree, it doesn't smell like other fragrances but it is a "blue" fragrance. I wasn't a huge fan, but it's nice. It sounds to me more like Date is mislabeled and should be Club and that it has virtually no oud it in. Disappointing, but I still want to smell it.

Yubin the thing is Instagram is very popular with women. And Jeremy has never hidden his true intention of his fragrance channel. He promotes fragrances that are popular with women. Date for Men is a huge hit with women and that’s his target audience. So it makes sense that his colognes are popular with women.

I like Office a lot, but date smells like something you'd get from macys, generic and sweet, a party club scent. I would not where it on a date. Date scents are more warm and cozy to me, like ysl la nuit.

Honestly, this has given me more compliments in a day, than any other fragrance I’ve ever worn.
My first impression was Ultra Male + Eros with the sweetness but with a splash of icy mint to my nose. It’s not the most unique but it’s undeniably a great scent and it’s strong. I actually love it. Will bite the bullet and get myself a bottle down the line. Jeremy, don’t discontinue or reformulate this!

I'm not a huge fan so far. I like it but it's too basic. Office I actually like because I feel like it is different enough from Bleu, Sauvage, and Aventus, and it was a great scent. Date is just too similiar to other things.

the performance on both Office and Date is well above average. 10 + hours on both for me. Office has become my dumb reach lately, but I think I will be selling Date. Its just ok to me, and not worth the money. DG the One will remain my goto date frag.

My huuuge big problem with Jeremy's fragrances is dude... You are charging me NICHE, you are charging me Parfums de Marly prices, but the presentation looks like some catalog fragrance thing, in fact, some Avon presentation looks better... And then the actual perfume smells like designer twists, nothing really comparable to niche. I would buy if you were honest with what you got going on and priced it accordingly, but how come a "smaller" fragrance reviewer can release GORGEOUS NICHE QUALITY perfumes in luxury looking bottles and boxes and you can't, but you call it the best perfume ever... Pass
I agree with you. I have Office because I got it really cheap ($100) and still I don't think it's worth that price tbh. I have the third batch, and the bottle's black paint is already falling apart on the back part. The cap is horribly cheap and the scent, well, it's ok. Nothing out of this world. It's a pretty linear and generic scent. I think it should be a $30-40 USD fragrance at most. That's why I'm not getting the Date fragrance.
Personally, I couldn't care less for presentation. The juice inside the bottle is the most important thing. But my opinion seems to be the minority. Jeremy should have made a big investment on presentation since the price is what it is.

Thanks for your review Dallas personally I like to wear Office for Men very much, it just does the trick for me and it lasts a very long time. I think Date is way too expensive and besides I have Ultra Male and Armani Code Absolu in my collection so I'm not bothered at the moment.

Late to the party on this one. I got it for 66% off with Office and Black Tie. It’s like Ultra Male + La Nuit, and splash of Invictus. Projects well on my skin and clothes with 5 sprays. I got better responses with this compared to when I wear Layton which I found surprising. But then again the women who smelled it are not fragrance enthusiasts. Black Tie, now that one is a damn masterpiece.
what are your thoughts with the 66% of deal, worth it? are you also an fragrance fanatic?
@@alexanderblixt5175 they just did a 70% off deal for Black Friday, and I got another bottle of Date and Black Tie. I’d totally pay even if it was 50% off. I’ve paid higher prices for lower quality juice from other niche houses and high end designer. My last bottle of Herod was 82% alcohol volume, and my new bottle of Tom Ford Noir Extreme fizzles out to a skin scent after 3 hours.
By comparison, Black Tie is 78% vol alcohol, and Date is an even better 73%. Both are extrait de Parfum, which have a higher concentration of natural oils and fragrance ingredients. And yes, I’m a fragrance addict, with over 100 bottles in my collection, designer and niche. Which is rather unfortunate for my wallet.

@@alexanderblixt5175 normally I wouldn’t blind buy a fragrance without smelling it first. However, you really can’t get samples of these unless you already know someone who has them. The good thing is that the perfumer, Alberto Morillas has crafted these to be very mass appealing in that most people will enjoy these scents. At a deep discount, yes the three are definitely worth it because the quality is there and soon these will be discontinued and no longer available. These are absolutely beast mode and different enough to stand apart from a “me too” fragrance. I wore Black Tie to a company Christmas party last night and a lot of the guests, women and men, were complimenting or asking what I was wearing. Woke up this morning and my shirt from last night hanging in the bathroom still strongly smells like Black Tie.
Fragrance enthusiasts is like .1% of the global population dude, that’s why I don’t get niche fragrances. They’ll get cleared by 50-80 colognes
How do the woody and earth notes come into play? Curious if this will change like how batch 1,2,3 of Office have small differences or if it develops as the juice has sat for longer.

Great take on Date for Men Dallas! I was able to smell date at Scentxplore and I received my bottle just a few days ago! I have a few problems with this fragrance #1 you can't smell any oud, not even a little #2 the price is high for smelling so similar to Ultra Male #3 longevity and projection are sub par and for how potent and sweet it is in the opening I expected more....it falls pretty flat for me. Its very sweet and mass appealing and it does smell really good but to my nose its extremely similar to JPG ultra male
I wouldn't expect really good longevity from a date fragrance. It's supposed to be for dates. Not for full day use.

@@Robbyfrags90 that's not how fragrances work. It depends on what the notes and oils used are and how it's blended that determines how long it lasts. Not the concentration. Concentration doesn't always mean how long it's going to last

I honestly expected some much more spicy after all his takes on the oud. I personally get none of the oud but a hell lot of fruity sweetness.. I don't think the name "date" is suitable to the fragrance. Would have expected something more grown up

Am I the only one that thinks office for men doesn't have good performance? I love the smell, but I dont get the projection and longevity that was promised from Jeremy who I think highly of and his concept for his brand. The performance I'm basing it on is on skin and on clothing same problem. I havent received any compliments when I wear but when I wear something else I do. I have Date for men on the way and will be here tomorrow and I hope that is fixes the problem I have with office. Based on what people are saying date smells like then I will like it I just hope it performs.
Office for men also grew on me, the more I who’re it. And it is now one of my dumb grabs, because it always works .
Date for men is a good buy when you have the 50% off discount for buying office before.

To me date, delivered... as A DATE fragrance... yes I have ultra male and love it, and for the price, ultra male is much better than date.

I think both Date and Office are ok-ish fragrances. They’re not “bad” by any stretch but the pricing is fucking insane. Jeremy is charging people niche pricing for sub-par designer presentation and scent.

Date is excellent. Like a sweetened sauvage. Don't really care for office, don't care at ALL for Black Tie(I sprayed it on and my son asked why I smelled like burnt rubber). Unisex is also very nice.
