That's ridiculous. A lot of people do die in their 60's. So work till you die is the American way! I don't know who all is living longer but I know that the older you get your body feels it so retiring at 70 you can forget having a good retirement.

I don’t understand how we can send billions of dollars to others countries and I’m not just talking about Ukraine but we can’t take care of our veterans, disabled people and the elderly. I don’t think it’s never been more clear then it is right now that our government does not work for us! And we have just blindly, like children believed that. I don’t mean that our government should care for able bodied people but yes I do think we have a moral responsibility to care for those who can’t care for themselves. I’ve always loved my country but the more I learn about WEF, WHO etc it becomes even more clear that the elites will be phasing us out.
Raising full retirement age to 70 is ridiculous. Some people will make it that far most will not. Really depends on genetics, lifestyle and job you do. We are a civilized society we can do better than that. I thought my retirement age was 65 until they changed it in 1983. I was 30 at the time. To 66. Medicine is great but people start getting sick in their 50’s and 60’s . Medicine has no cures currently for most of the chronic disease’s that lead to chronic illness. So the BS that most politicians sprout about living into our 80’s healthy is not correct. You can live to your 80’s but that does not mean your healthy. You can have chronic disease’s that wear your body down over time. I’m retired not yet I n my 70’s. Time wears the body down. Not everyone hits the genetic jackpot. No more raising of the retirement age. More compromise is needed all the way around. Raising the tax’s on employers and workers

You won't lose all your SS. It may be reduced if the trust fund runs out of their part. David did a video on this explaining it all.

Yeah but they're talking a $200 a month raise for people on social security. But most people on social security get other programs that they won't qualify anymore for because of that 200 if it gets passed through. It's going to make things worse for most people.
You have too understand if you don't have children are you make over a certain amount of money which is considered snap money if you are not entitled for Snap you make too much money you will not qualify for the money this is and has been for people that on Social Security making less than 900 bucks or married 1800 bucks so if you make more on either of them you don't qualify.

See I’m on survivor benefits and Medicare no problem .. But this raise basically boots out ssi folks.. everything is being targeted.. ssi gets their help that some on SS and ssdi and vets don’t even qualify for I don’t.. now they wanna give us $2400 but leave ssi the lowest paying benefit out? ( I understand we are all struggling but ssi can’t survive on $841.. I’m on benefits and my rent is $800 a month now geez.. there is no solution at the same time they can not keep spending… but what about inflation?and food prices them snap benefits are not enough if it’s costing more to live where is the grocery money? You can’t give money and cost them other aid and then take away food assistance and that’s exactly what happened with those on Hud assistance.. they raised their rent because of the cola raise and reduced snap.. now if we get a bigger cola next year see the cut again for the lowest paying benefits..

@@mshappyapple8663 it’s been reported that some on SS and ssdi get up to $1657.00 a month ( that’s true) so a big cola wouldn’t hurt these folks because if they are single they won’t even qualify for welfare to begin with because their income is over 19k alone before Medicare…So with that being said it’s not going to fly.. if it’s does it’s will take away a benefit for millions..I think it’s gone be a cola raise for 2023 and it will give all as usual..don’t see it changing this late in the year.. we can’t even get a Medicare adjustment and that’s been officially lowered..

They didn't say what his prognosis is. His American Soldier video, here on YT, will bring a tear to your eye. If you haven't seen it, it's worth watching. It's 5.6 per cent cola that's about 40 $ increase. That's along way from 200$.& if we get 200 they will cut 100 from food stamps plus 25 $ to premiums.
The COLA increase is based on a person's monthly income. Not everyone gets the same amount. The more you get, the higher your COLA increase will be.

The cola raise was anywhere from $40-$92 for 2022 now the higher inflation see the ones that got that $92 but god gotta watch Medicare.. so a $70 increase was pretty good even though Medicare increased it benefited those not on other aid but other things like food and utilities and gas is taking it back..it’s a no win solution..Ukrainian got a lot of money they have to get money back from the working class through payroll tax..Nothing is free..they gave stimulus now we paying it back in other ways now..

We people on ssi,ssdi,social security, veteran, railroad retirement and low and no income needs the $200.00 dollar per month raise as long as prices are going up we can just valley make it on what we get per month gas prices is now $5.09 cents per gallion and food price are sky high and everything else like rent , electric ect... Please help us we are all living in poverty we need help immediately asap
