My dear Lord-- It was such a blessing Arnel does to revive Journey back again when SP left the band!! Wonderfully executed-- AP sure rocks --the hell out of the crowds when he does rock ---BIG TIME! He commands the stage with his presence !! Journey songs are hard to sing, singing high notes again and again!!

Wow, Arnel has that Perrysque voice but also a real rock voice like Steven Tyler. Amazing. And Neal Schon's guitar playing is sublime - everytime.

Amazing... If you can sing and perform in a crowd of various ages such as this and actually be able to make them all react and forget their camera's and just jump and cheer then they are really good! Its all in the music, the energy and the quality of the performance. I mean... music MUST be able to transcend generations and race right?

gemma e. madrid ...due to failing health, he had a freak hiking accident in the past that caused chronic pain in his hips to the point that he needed a hip replacement, and Journey was waited over a year for Perry to have the surgery and he didn’t go for it. He can’t move around much on stage like he used to. The whole thing was a drag to the band. Long story. Search YT for Neil’s interview about that, you’ll stumble some videos.

I'll take Steve over Arnel, any day. Arnel is a great singer I give him props, but his voice is so scratchy screechy clawing, trying to pretend his voice is exactly like Steve Perry's. He's not his boy doesn't compare to Steve Perry it just sounds like it. And a being a voice impersonator, to be a hard job to live up to Steve Perry will always be the showman of Journey
