  • Garmin make the worlds best sports / athlete watches, but when it comes to their watch bands I find that there are better options out there.
Here are the ones that I use regularly for my Fenix 7X amzn.to/46Zc5Lv
Here is a multipack of different colors amzn.to/3RLj46m

Which bands do you use for your Garmin watch - do you stick with the one that came with it or change it out for a different look?

      Nylon band, lighter, finely adaptable

The Garmin nylon bands are VERY high quality and worth every penny. I have the 22 and the 26mm. I’ve also used 3rd party nylon bands and I can tell you they’re not the same quality as Garmin. I can’t speak on your FR 920’s silicone strap as my first FR was the 945. I’m also not a fan of silicone bands from any brand including Garmin. But in the end I’ll always go with Garmin. I also recently got a FR955. It doesn’t make since to pay $500+ for a watch and not be willing to pay $50 for a strap. To each his own I guess? My two 🪙’s.

Cool. I haven't tried the latest Garmin nylon bands but I hear good things about them. The last nylon band I used got dirty very quickly with sweat, chlorine saltwater, gatorade & gels which I could not easily clean out of the fabric without putting it through the washer with my running clothes. With the silicone band I just run it under the faucet after every workout, as you say each to their own, I find this just works best for me.

Hasn’t been the case for me. Third party have lasted just as long as the originals

How you liking them? I just threw down 600 for 2 nylon straps (I'm feeling pretty stupid), but they look and feel great. I won't trust my marq gen2 with anything less

Thanks for the video. It’s saved me so much time clearing up my brain from the noise and confusion of a gazillion options. I like your practical grounded video. I just bought my first Garmin (Epix Pro). I love your blue/orange which I just ordered. You have a silicone teal one in your video, is that one an Ancool one, I cannot find it.

Thanks! Yes these are all Ancool ones. They have changed their color range a few times. Not sure what’s in the range right now

I am so obsessed with silicone straps colors, cant get away from the addiction haha. Tried and returned many colors. Which one goes well with office attire ? 🙂

I have way too many of them but I like switching them out frequently. For a more formal look I use an ANCOOL dark navy blue strap, or sometimes the OEM black strap that came with the Fenix 7X. I think the navy one looks sharp.

Good call for the black strap while competing - I've found that adding dyes to plastics can weaken them. Not sure about silicone but I'd stick to black!

They look kinda goofy. I bought a few and instantly regretted it. As I just invested in the marq gen 2, I'd feel silly putting a 12 dollar band on it. Time to pony up and spend 300 on a nylon strap now...

Garmin watch bands aren't good for skin allergies.
