Subscribed! Been to a couple shows in the past at the Lancaster theatre; Noah and Jonah. I was going to see the Jesus show when it first came out, but never got the chance! Love them and looking forward to seeing more in the future!

Sight and Sounds are money freaking grabbers, and I hate them. The only thing that was good about them were their older productions. Now the only thing they have going for themselves are their instrumentals
The lyrics and costumes, most of all their makeup and wigs are cheap as hell and David is one of their mediocre productions. Please don't buy this, your better off getting the CD afterwards.
I'm sorry but I beg to differ on your opinion. I just got done watching the 1pm show and the rehearsal for tonight's live TV showing on Sight and Sound TV. And the amount of engagement with the audience was way more compared to Queen Esther, or Noah. I'd have to say David was by far the best so far. Expecially with all the graphics enhancements. I would highly suggest for people to see it in person. And maybe even check out the video as well. It's amazing how they had 12 cameras to capture the angles and video for the DVD. Which I got to see tonight
DAVID is an awesome production, as are ALL of S&S productions! I think the costumes and makeup are amazing! And what do you mean the lyrics are mediocre? Most of the songs are praising the Lord, taken from the Psalms THEMSELVES! Are you really going to say that the Psalms are mediocre?
No, the psalms in the bible are fine, and my opinon only the KJV is good, not whatever their own translation is, whoever wrote the music songs for the psalms made it really sound like some 16 year old made it for their youth choir.
The reprise The Lord is my shepherd was awesome though, but as you probably know some of the plot of the musical David didn't happen
@@azrielimaginations One thing I look for is Biblical accuracy and yes, I know some of the things that are in the musical didn't happen (same can be said for secular movie versions of David and any other Bible based movie). I also know of a few parts that were changed, but because they only have so long a time to do a play, they had to do what they could. But S&S has been the most accurate to the Bible than anything I've ever seen. As for the songs, I personally think they're beautifully written. KJV is kinda difficult to understand (at least for me), I think they made a good choice to write it the way they did.
I do have to say, I don't like what they did with JESUS. I don't think they stuck to Scripture for that one, like they usually do. QUEEN ESTHER is my favorite, though!
