I like the compatibility with the harrier.
I just bought mine today, cant wait
Thanks for the fps chart! You guys are definitely one the few groups in the hobby with comprehensive and good experimental designs :). I'll probably pass on the Seagull as it doesn't seem nearly as consistent as the Harrier at 200fps based on the standard of deviation numbers. Probably due to the smaller plunger tube volume
Thanks!
How would you rate it’s accuracy against a Orion Blasters Lynx or a GameFace Trion?
yea, it is looking great!
It's looking good 😊😊
So if I get that blaster does it come with the 1.4x250 spring and the 210mm barrel or do they need to be purchased separately?
Blaster comes with 210 and 310 mm barrel. Included springs are 1.4x 250 and 1.4x 280. I have updated this in the product description too.
@@blaster-time Thank you for replying!
@@blaster-time nice so I get customisation when I buy this
All the Sabre Blaster Harrier bits fit into the Seagull bar the mag release, it can easily hit 270fps with these parts installed and a 1.6mm 300 Harrier spring.
Will Dart Zone magazines work in the Seagull?
No, the Seagull has a Talon catch, while the currently available Dart Zone magazines have the catch in the Katana location.
It looks cool! I say that as a gun guy.
Also, as someone who's already got a unicorn but not a harrier, would you recommend this for me? 😊😊
Ultimately it's up to your preference. If you want to play ~200 FPS games, the Seagull is perfect for that. Higher the Harrier would be better. Unicorn and Seagull can both do 150 - so if that's what you're after, it's just another option. The Seagull is definitely a nice blaster!
@blaster-time Alright then, and thank you for replying to my question :)) The prime definitely looks smoother on the seagull.
Still like the harrier better, but it’s cool they made a compact less powerful version.
So I have a question for you does it take normal talon magazine
Yes it does!
If they have the same plunger tube volume then this should have good potential 🤔
The Plungertube is shorter, so smaller volume.
can you do a test with the harrier upgrade spring and barrels
We used the 1.6 x 250 spring from the Harrier to test - the results are in the blog. We will include the 370mm barrel from the Harrier too in an update soon.
can you use the 1.6 x 300mm spring and 450 mm barrel in this blaster?
Technically: yes. If that is still comfortable to use is another question. If you're going this way, the Harrier might make more sense.
gotcha, thank you!
It’s not a question as to whether to buy it but rather what color?
not the best color choices
pink? purple?
@@dancarthen3634 They have khaki, white and lime green too. Pink and Purple are non threatening colors so the blaster doesn’t look real steel. And for whatever reason there seems to be a large group of hobbyists that like pink blasters. I hate pink but to each there own.
@@dancarthen3634 I do wish they had the Nightengale or Phoenix colors. I would love the two tone light blue and orange. I think many want to match their pistols for loadout.
Yes.
Plunger also interchangeable?
He does say it is at 2:30...
no. harrier plunger is 95mm. seagull about 65mm.
@@adminit3444 thanks
The plunger TUBE is shorter, but I do believe the PLUNGER and CATCH (yeah looking at you, metal Sabre parts) should be interchangeable.
@@MidnightBlasters hmm i see. I shall know when mine comes in oct. will you be getting yours sooner? If so can let us know?
Yeah🔥💯😎🤘
The chart is missing another even higher powered spring.
The 1.6 x 250 mm spring is already heavy for this blaster. Going to a higher spring doesn't make much sense - then it would be easier to go with the Harrier.
what happens if you use the strongest harrier spring
250 fps I bet
It would become much harder to prime, and the FPS would be higher. In that case you're better off with a Harrier, which has a longer prime stroke.
