It's like Christmas with opening random and unexpected gifts that are almost what you asked for. These boxes are never exactly what you want but are always fun.
It was a steep one. As I said in the video, I wasn't going to get one but my wife told me to, so OK game on! Lol. Last year's mega box in terms of value was much better. £150 for a total value of £500+! But at least there is more usefully stiff in this one if you only play ww2.
Ooohhhh good to see they didn't just chuck in loads of bolt action books with the new one out soon. And good to see a few bits of terrain :) good video :)
Literally the only difference between your box and mine is that I had a Humber Mk II/IV where you had a Half Track. Otherwise, Identical. I mean, you can't blame them for making the box "all over the place", it's their way of encouraging people to get into different games or nations. I was personally very happy with the box, because I play all the games contained within. I already have the 2 books and the Combined Arms game, but I got more useable items than the amount I paid would normally buy me.
Oh I'm happy with the contents, I just wish that if they were giving crule seas stuff out in them, then the Victory at sea ship could have been another cruel seas item. That's what I mean by all over the place. But I get what you're saying.
Good value overall but would be nice if they throw a unit from one side in to match it with the opposing side equivalent so at least you can play the game and with a base unit or two then expand
Every now and again warlord put it in their email news letter that they are coming out. If you sign up for that, you will know when they are bringing the next one out.
@jamesbell392 good shout. I plan in sticking up a short or something when the next one comes around, just to let everyone know that they are about again.
Glad i didnt get it. I was considering it, but suspected i would get a bunch of rulebooks that i couldn't care less about and they would soon be out of date. Looks like i was correct and there was a bunch of terrain i could easily 3d print up muself. Not interested in Cruel Seas either or the air stuff either. If is was 28mm figures, id be in. There were some nice items included, but not much. BTW, great unboxing review.
Yeah, I was also worried that there would be a load of books in there that I already had, or that would be out of date with 3rd edition coming soon. I was really hoping for a bolt action stater set, but thems the risks we take with getting these box's.
i got one of these i got a few diffrent things the big boxes are the same and the scenery paints ect. then i got panser 4, hummel, us marines, british paras, us winter wepons teams,, p38 lightening planes
Kinda glad I dodged this box tbf. They pushed the price up 25% and I'm seeing some repeat stuff now - though nicely surprised they didn't flood it with out of date Bolt Action books (that was last time lol).
Yeah the last box was full of books and was a bit of a letdown. This one was ok, but not worth 200 quid. The last mega box I opened was 150 and had a higher value of items in it.
Yeah I think the 2 box sets are overstock items, the airfix blood red skies is not on their website (that I could find). I do like the selection that you get in these box's, but I would love it if they were a bit more directed towards one army, fleet, ect. But I understand why they aren't.

Totally agree. I always seem to sound a little sad about what I get in these boxes. But I'm always happy with the contents.
We passed on it this year; price was just a little too high for blind buy - last year was a pretty decent run for the Megabox we purchased...

Great review, thanks for taking the hit for us fans who can't afford a mystery box!
Thank you! I enjoy doing them.

Thanks. Yes! Glad to see it wasn't padded with books this time!
I skipped this box this year, took much stuff lmao, tbh I flogged most of the stuff from the January box and actually made a profit haha
@conanlucas6183 that's what I do with the stuff I'm not going to be able to use. All proceeds go towards the next box.
cool things you got in the box big thank you four the vid keep up the vid thanks
Thank you for watching!
when do they normally come out as they seem to come and go
Totally random. Best thing I can suggest is to sub to warlords email updates.

Lots of value to rhe box, though not the best I've had. The last £150 box had 500 quids worth of stuff in it! But hmthey are fun little things to get.
How do you get these?
Every now and again warlord put it in their email news letter that they are coming out. If you sign up for that, you will know when they are bringing the next one out.
How do you get the mystery box
Warlord games sell them on their website a few times a month.
Ok thank you I've just signed up to their website

it is fun to open a box of who knows what
@e-4airman124 it's like another Christmas

That's a nice haul! Having the 2 German vehicles is super nice!
@@WrathRuin i got mixed up it was a humber not a hummel
@raised6175 ahh, nice little starter force for Brit airborne though with some armoured support.

Good review.
😂 so instead of having a sale, they make it a surprise and send overstocked items.
Utter madness

i keep looking on the site and can neber find them wtf
The only come out a few times a year. The email news letter will tell you when the next one is up.
That's a lot of awesome stuff you got but £200 not to bad when its £440 rrp
There is definitely a lot of cool stuff in here! All the box's have been great value for money. I wonder what, if any Warlord will do next.
Now I have mystery envy....
Ahh sorry! I'm sure there will be other mystery boxs soon!
