I think these boats are fantastic, seen alot of videos on them lately and they seem to handle really well even in rougher seas. i like the aluminium build and style of them. I am from the island of Guersey channel islands uk and it has a large boating, fishing community and these boats would be absolutely perfect for our waters. enjoy you lovely boat ,nice video.
Suggest you consider the collision regs hence more than likely reason red light was not wired in as would cause confusion with port light and could cause collision at night.
Thanks for checking in David. Red or blue deck lights are very common on boats in the US and help with night vision. When I called stabi directly and asked why they were not wired in, they stated that since the normal deck lights they use are single color and this brand was used for a short period as a stop gap due to production delays they did not not want to modify there wiring and switch panel in there production line for the multi light option.

Mayia, thanks for checking in. The seaworthiness is the same if not better than the 265 Express I had. It’s a very dry running boat overall and the fully enclosed cockpit is amazing. Viability with the forward raking windows is excellent. The true walk around with the thick tall bow rails is much safer than what I had on the Grady. You can comferatably lean on them since they are at thigh hight. The hight of the gunnels are also almost hip high so it’s very secure when fishing out the back in rough weather. The ride is not as great as the Grady but to a degree that’s negligible. I’ve had the entire hull out of the water on a few big swells and the landings are extremely soft. I’ve also buried the bow into some poorly timed swells and never had water over the bow. Hope this helps. Eventually I’ll do a follow up review now that I’ve ran the boat for the last year.

I really like the 22.5 center cab and ultra cab , we have a 21 striper which rides very similar to a 23 ft grady a friend of ours has those are nice riding boats so nice to hear a real comparison I can relate to

I’ll put all the good and bad I’ve noticed over the year in the next review I post. Fortunately for me so far over all this is the best boat I’ve ever owned and all the systems work just as I expected them to. It’s also the only new boat I’ve even purchased so I don’t have any experiance in what to expect with other brands. :)
Yes you bet. It gets use all the time in our local fisheries. We regularly have dense fog warnings. I wouldn’t leave the dock without it! The fantom has some cool features too with regards to shading that shows you the direction other targets are moving and the bird mode.

how does it compare to the Grady white in regard to ride in rough water and overall seaworthyness?
