Harpy Hare - Yaelokre

I would like to extend a special thank you to my little one for turning me on to this band and this single. Listening to this song in the car on long drives isnpired me to make my own small rhythmical contribution and I have sure enjoyed it. I have since bought the EP.
Thanks again to the coolest of all kids for continuing to enrich my life with love and music.
For the Gear Heads:
Recorded with two AT2020 condenser mics, a shure beta 52, and a shure sm57 through a borrowed usb interface.
The Drums:
22" Pearl Forum bass drum given to me by a friend before he moved out of state. A cheap 13" Pearl piccolo snare given to me by my brother (love the thing!) The cheapest lowest quality Rogers floor tom available bought used at my local drumshop. (2112 Percussion) LP Cowbell. Sabian chopper thing. 16" hihats made of a Paiste 802 18" crash ride that cracked and was lasered down to a 16" bottom hat and a Dream 16" thin crash with a little crack in it for the top hat. A Wuhan 21" medium heavy ride cymbal with rivets.
Recorded ny my garage during a sweltering Carolina summer.
FUN FACT: This cowbell was gifted to me on the same christmas as my sonor drumset when I was 16. I'm 38 at time of typing and this kit is the first drum kit I have ever mounted the poor thing to.
