- We got a couple flasks from Ragproper flasks and we decided to test them out. Ragproper glass flasks claim to be break resistant so we are going to stress test them and see what they will hold up to. Did Ragproper Flask change the game when it comes to how flasks should be made?

I bought a set for some friends that got married, just a few days back. I hope they like them just as much as you do. Buying myself and my son each a set, as soon as he gets back from deployment. And set cuz, you can never have too much good whisky on hand

Any concerns about cleaning the glass since you can’t remove the leather?
@@jreezy70 I'm only ever pouring high proof spirits into it, so if some of that gets on it then it's practically cleaning it. 😏

It's been a few years. Is it still holding up? I just purchased one today.
I was looking at these flasks on Amazon but the problem is neither hold enough but a few hours worth of drinking. But I do like them.

Hey guys-does the leather flask cover have any metal on it(snaps,etc.)?
It's stitched on, only metal is the cap
It makes me cry everytime Dan over fires the whiskey and spills all over
Are you filling that flask or....sanitizing it?
Has the silicone gotta loose at all, or is it still snug? I’m thinking I’d opt for the leather if that silicone doesn’t stay tightly fit. Thx
it's still snug on there, and I've changed mine out with the green. No issues with it "stretching"
I for one appreciate Dan for saving me the time and the whisky on how to fill the flask. Who knows how much whisky I would’ve wasted and the countless hours of experimenting. Thanks Dan, Sean catch up bro. #junkiesciene

Bulleit bourbon in the big one and usually Booker's in the smaller one. These flask are very very nice.

I hemmed and hawwed(that may and may not be spelled right) over buying these. I ended up buying the Small and Large leather, and I LOVE them. I use the small one for my better higher proof bourbons and the big boy is usually topped off with Bulleit bourbon. These flask are awesome. The leather is very nice. I may go back and buy another set but in silicon this time.
What I am most curious about is how Dan thrashed his right leg, mtn biking? That looks like it hurt.

I use raceface flat pedals. They have screws that stick out (for grip sake) Sometimes they absolutely destroy your shins it's not super uncommon but it hurts like a bitch

Good job testing. However, I would've dropped it with different angles to ensure it's tough impacting the surface from any angle. Also, would like to see how it withstands a direct impact from something like a hammer...just for fun. Maybe a cherry bomb also. How does it perform as a target for small arms such as .22, .38. .45, etc. OK, I'm going a little nuts with tests. Bottom line -- you proved that thing is tough. Thanks.

It isn't attached to the body of the flask if that's what you mean. It does close very snug and I wouldn't worry about it randomly coming off.

The real way to fill a flask would be to get a Pyrex measuring device and fill it with the prescribed amount of alcohol and then pour that shit into the flask LOL
