    My dogs went crazy when you turned that thing on. LOL. This is way over my small operation, thank you for the video Kamon and Laurel...

    Gee Kamon, I thought letting my wax drain in a 5 gal bucket through a painter strainer was a big deal. Holy smokes

    I have the same spinner. I use a garden hoe to pull the wax out and into a barrel. Works well and I’m not putting my hand into a spinning machine.

    Hi Kamon. Do you run both the extractor and uncapper through it or just the uncapper and cappings.

    • @kamonreynolds
      @kamonreynolds  2 роки тому +2

      Currently I run just the cappings thru it. I am running what I scoop out of my sump thru it though. I am very happy with it.
      I am open to suggestions this is my first year using it!

      @@kamonreynolds This is a problem I've yet to solve. I don't need something this large of a scale but I end up with a lot of honey in my cappings. It separates in my solar melter but that is lost honey since it's been heated and processed that I have to throw away. I was thinking of getting a press like what is used to make cider but not sure. Bob, Kamon, any suggestions for small operations? Thanks

    I always had a great time giving it a quick spray of cold water to get that wax super dry when cutting. Nicely done man

    Kamon and Laurel, your Cowen equipment is so cool. You’re picking your high cotton with a combine in your hundreds of acres fields where I’m leaned way over breaking my back picking those few balls of cotton near the ground with mud splashed on them in my 6x6 foot cotton patch. lol You do have some top of the line equipment! Roll Tide!

    Kamon, why don't you do videos of your entire process of honey extraction, wax gathering and prep for use in your hives next season?
    I've seen clips of your wax disasters, and they were great, but if like to see the entire process.

    Have you ever tried Flow Hives?...does away with all that expensive machinery and leaves the capping behind for the bees to re-use....in the UK BTW 🇬🇧...Great channel and learnt a lot from you.

      Flow hives are expensive and definitely not what you want for a commercial operation.
