@@PrimalDragon1740 Yeah before Miranda infected the village, Urias used to be the village chief. And he was just the younger brother, his older brother was the bigger Lycan with the mace, he was Urias Strajër.

Classic Boss battle. No weak spots to aim at and no talking from the boss
With the classic style boss battle music, a big intimidating boss, and no real strategy except throw as much damage at him as you can. Loved it

I HAVE to give it to the sound designer who made Urias' roars. Especially the one he does before the battle starts, that shit makes my heart drop...

Re8 fixed one of the problems re7 had. The enemy variety. There's so many different monsters in this game. It's honestly quite impressive. The mid bosses like this guy are excellent too

Hopefully Capcom listens but doesn’t go too crazy. I feel like the variety in this game was THE absolute sweet spot
The fact that Ethan has to fight all of them right before he meets the main bosses is crazy. 😅
Not enough though, the only interesting enemies are In Heisenbergs factory, and that’s half of all of the enemies you encounter in the entire game
@@Neo2266. that's exactly what i'm thinking there sure is some enemy variety but i kind of expected something like the lickers from re2 (obviously i mean it in concept ) but no they've been basically variations of the lycans which is fine and cool but wish there was more you know
Couldn't hear this theme well with the constant gunfire and hammer slams.
It blends really well actually

The soundtrack to this game was amazing! Loved every second of this game. You can really feel the desperation and tension rising as the song plays.
I hope future games use this kind of fear inducing music!
you have to give it up to them. you can tell how much effort that went into this game taking some of the best aspects of previous entries and creating a hell of a game.
@@Beyond_Immortal of course they are putting a lot of effort in it, because after RE6 this franchise was almost buried. RE7 rised this franchise from the grave and RE8 gave this franchise new life.

Yeah dude there's a lot of things in this game that reminded me of bloodborne. Hell the entire Castle Dimitrescu section was basically Cainhurst 2.0
So I found out that Urias is Romanian for huge according to Google translate. His "brother" Urias Strajer, apparently means Huge Guardian.
The side bosses with axes also have Urias in their name, and are called Urias Drac. Mother Miranda sure has trouble coming up with good names for giant monsters, huh

Random side note.
The fight with Urias is a great place to farm the "entrapment" challenge. When the Lycans come down, you can guard against them until Urias jumps down and likely kills the Lycans. Even more Lycans appear during the higher difficulty settings.

Badass powerhouse. By far the best boss fight in the game especially in Village of Shadows difficulty.
He's a beast on Village of Shadows.

Im one of those who fought him on VOS, The wrong thing I did though is I fought him on the VOS ON MY FIRST RUN! I had my ass kicked left and right and can't count the amount of times I got executed... Urias on VOS is AS HARD AS F**k!!

Yes you are right about completing the game to unlock VOS difficulty.
However if you have purchased the deluxe edition, you can play VOS on the first run and that's what I did.
I even uploaded my gameplay on my channel too.
If you don't believe me check the deluxe edition on the Internet.
I did have one incident someone into my account and deleted some of my videos which I spent a good deal making which is annoying but I will have to reupload some of them again but as said I can tell you playing VOS on the first run is a pain in the ass!
Those who have completed the game first then played VOS might not be as difficult cause you will have some unlockables to play with but compared with playing VOS on the first run, you have very little ammo, little medical items and really be skilled to play it. Trust me it was tough!!

@@potaterjim RE7 had some Bloodborne-esque songs too, but on that one they hired Cris Velasco, that did a good chunk of the BB soundtrack. This one they basically channeled their inner From Soft and I couldn't be more happier xD

Just like Heisenbergs theme and the Chris Redfield battle theme, this is also going on pre and during workout playlist at the gym.
I feel like they should have put more Urias into the story and open the character more, besides being a mini-boss. The character design is pretty awesome and they should have done more with him.
It would have been cool if he stalks you while you explore the village between each lords levels
Shit, that's one hell of a boss music - makes me imagine doing a battle-dance (with the clicking sounds) against something as colossal - or even bigger than Urias (the choir)
Urias was a damn tank and wasting all my pipe bombs and mines was definitely worth killing him Overall it’s an epic boss battle

Urias boss fight soundtrack is the best one out of all the boss soundtracks, hands down .
I don't know if I would say that. The Mother Miranda fight track and the Heisenberg fight track are also _REALLY_ good.

Best battle in the game, wonderfull soundtrack. This is so amazing that we have this battle twice. Ethan an chris. But with ethan is better.
It is nothing but perfection , i had to come here to listen to this masterpiece again but the thing is it is even better while fighting him even if all your senses feeling tension and fear from the situation

I felt like the Stronghold needed to be expanded a bit, maybe including some clever environmental twists in one or two extra arenas and, maybe also an "extended dynamic escape" from a large group of Lycans à là TLOU2 (Chapter "Horde" with Abby).
Luckily, the finale was epic as hell, fighting against Urias was awesome.
Say what you want about the game and this goes for myself as well but the fight music was badass!
The game itself was decent
The game was top class period. It had horror moments it had action moments it was balanced. It was one of the most story driven games of this franchise. This series has been on track since resi 7 and i dont want to hear more about it ( thats not an attack to your comment) peace

I’m doing hardcore for my first playthrough currently and I just beat him last night at danger health with no meds left lol very good bossfight!
Oh yeah it was lol. I play VoS on my first playthrough and boi… no ng+ gun or infinite ammo but regular upg guns and skill, makes the fight more thrilling and satisfying to end the boss with a magnum last shot in the face!

False Heinserberg Boss batalhe theme
This song actually plays in a lot more than just this spot and Heisenberg. It also plays when you're playing as Chris Redfield near the end of the game and you're stuck in that tiny little cave with that giant armored thing and Chris is like, "Looks like we got a tough guy, I'm gonna need air support!
"But boss, you're underground..."
