I learned the hard way, not to use Google Maps when towing as I got lost in the Gower when towing the caravan, many a single track road there. Sounds like Bob did a superb job here with standing Storm Betty (we were in Benidorm when you filmed this so never knew about this Storm)! Reminds me of some of my Caravanning exploits; one being surviving Storm Katie (March 2016) where we were at a site in Christchurch, Dorset. 107 mile winds, they put us on a grass pitch so with the monsoon rain our pitch complete flooded, so all pegs holding the awning pulled out which turned the awning into a massive flag, got woke up by the centre roof pole smacking into the side of the caravan, so at 2am in driving rain initiated our "EmergencyAwningTakeDown" protocol! A few fellow campers were effected too, including a twin axle caravan that got blown off it's pitch! Also, more recently (we now have a VW Camper) the camping fuse box fitted was faulty (unknown to us), we camped for a night at Salisbury C&CC site and blew the entire site when we connected our van to the camp electric pole!!
Glad you both made it through the night, nice lazy Susan platter, with a salad with pork pies , you can't beat a pie salad. Enjoy your selves see you soon👍
Yeah, it's a nice site Mayfield Park, very handy for exploring the Cotswolds and so close to Cirencester 👍 Having a rally area is also great for clubs etc. Random memory recall:That was the first site that I connected the drain hose to drain rather than the wastehog (tank on wheels ) Luxury. You also reminded me why we never use satnav when towing, we use a map down grading the satnav for information only 😂
I drove down to South Gloucestershire from North Wales on Friday 18th and Just south of Leominster at 10:30am was wetter than an Otters pocket. I got home yesterday after an exhausting week working on old cars and tractors!
Gotta love Berlingos and their cooling. My old 2003 DW10 none turbo would regularly get over 100 degrees before the fans would kick in with traffic on a hot day...
Hello got lost from are camp site not far from Newtown, very steep and muddy hill.If you have ever slid backwards down a hill and had to give the full skidding beans 😱
Why would England still have one lane roads? This is not the 1700's! What a very pretty frock that Miss Hubnut was wearing during the setup, looked like wearable art. What an appealing and appetizing looking luncheon. Glad that you survived the storm.
@@hubnotes absolutely gutted for Dan Lloyd. That would have been Team Hards second ever victory and the first for the Cupra. 5 corners to go and and the rear toe link breaks 😔 motorsport can be so cruel
I'd already seen your tweet about the Party Susan but she looks even better in video. Just what we need for a picky tea ensemble. If you were in Gloucestershire, did you get lost or Gloucest?
Sounds like Bob survived Betty quite well, but I think it was mostly cos Betty focussed on Ireland who really copped it hard, looked like they had a really scary time in the worst hit areas... :S
whereas cats will deliberately get under your feet while you’re preparing food in the hopes that they’ll get ‘guilt ham/chicken/beef’ if you step on them
I live just down the road from where you are , lovely countryside .Diego is really a rottweiler in disguise , just one problem is he is only 10 inches high .🤣So cute .
You are both too young to remember when Lazy Susan's were on every dining table. Did you not programme that you were towing into the sat nav or is that not possible with Google Maps, you would have been directed down more appropriate roads, not guaranteed as they are prone to error.
Love Carly’s rotating food platter of joy.
Ah bless. It's very touching to see Carly get excited over a "Lazy Susan" 🤣
I lost my "Lazy Susan" when I was at collage 😉
Diego is in charge! Full 'on guard' mode engaged. Love the little tail wag😊
The ability to sleep soundly when all around you things are going haywire is one of life's great gifts .
Absaloutly brilliant video Ian miss hubnut ❤👍 I've experienced Google maps my self this weekend omg the places it took us waw brilliant

Bob & Betty a brilliant combination. Enjoyed your camping video.
Saw 2 Diahatsus last week in my home town. Thought of you & Carly.
Lots of fun roads in and around Stroud & Cirencester.. my stomping ground in my youth.
Yes mine as well I was at collage in Stroud but lived in Wotton under Edge and my Girlfriend worked outside Cirencester 1982-1995

Intrepid explorers as ever...legends both!

Eesh!
I thought you were used to roads like this in Wales 😂 .
That lazy Suzan is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
I need that in my life 😂😂

Glad y all are ok 🥰
And being in that area means everything is “for the greater good”
Looks like Lots of horses have escaped the engine
At least 12 according to the Dyno...
Watching this in the horrendous queue to leave Donington circuit after a brilliant day of BTCC racing
Caught the last race on telly!

Rejoice! The salad carousel is making an appearance. 😋

I see there was a Tesla with a tow bar behind you. I bet towing a caravan knocks the range a bit.
Bella could do with a set of mudflaps

I was on the same road on probably the same day in my campervan. It was a nightmare!
Dogs always behave when there is a chance they may get food 😆

Offer our dog a treat and she will sit when told, apart from that she will pretend she is deaf😂👍🇮🇪
The food platter was clickbait for me! So retro!

Gloucester! Looked more like the Amazon 😂😂😂
spinning salad plater for the win
AY UP MR AND MRS HUBNUT
Did I see one Austin Maestro wheel trim on Bob?
Nissan Cherry. We did have two but sadly lost one.
