Alan WHATS UP MY MAN, Wayne here from Chicago Auto Pros. Such a great informative video buddy. Love all the detail and tips u share. Amazing work as always. Love your shop setup btw. Hope you and the family are doing great. Stay safe.. keep rocking it my man. Cheers
AMDetails lol thank you my good man. So happy and honored to be a part of the community. I bet you can’t wait to get back here in the states and see us soon I hope. Take care Alan ✌️🤙
nicely done sir, collect your Master Taping badge! Good to see you back posting content. Hope you and the team are well, let us know when we can visit the shop again, liking the new kit. 😷😷😷 Red nozzle bad, can take out fences (i binned mine for safety), i find green good for pre-wash/wheels/arches etc, and white for rinsing! New snow-foam lances look cool, very much like the Autobrite one, they are good and don't fall-over.
Great video and i really enjoyed your technique. Being able to put the vehicle on a lift so you don't have to kill your back makes the job so much more enjoyable. I am a mobile detailer and im sure you already know trying to do paint correction to a door laying on your side or curling up into a ball just to find a comfortable position is brutal. Great work. Im guessing the paint was slightly on the harder side but it looks like the first step finished down really well.
Oh yes.... I remember those days mobile and then in the unit before I purchased my first ramp. The new Rupes pads and system gives great cut and finish in usually a one step. If not then the retirement is much less time than usual. Have you tried the DA system yet??
BUZZ!!! Man have i missed seeing you in the comment sections. I reckon im just going to make 1 minute videos just so we can all chat in the comments again. Hope you're safe and well. Really appreciate you being here in the community. Alan 😎👍🔔
Hey Alan, loving this type of video with the in depth tips and tricks, do you know when the pressure washer gear will be going live on the website? Can't find them on there at the moment.
Seems like an awful lot of hassle you're going to...just T-Cut it and slap some Colli 476 on it no? ;) Great to see you back boss, really enjoyed this one! You should consider doing training videos, you're nae bad at this :) Stay safe and catch up soon!
ha ha ha I like your style sir. Colli 476 is an absolute classic and still a favourite of mine. let's see what content comes soon. what would you like to see sir?? Alan
Hey Matthew, It's the sanding marks left from the flattening stage. Personally, I would have either, Done a further higher grade (less aggressive) sanding stage to help remove the deeper sanding marks before letting the finishing team machine. Or give the team the time allowed for then to get into the edges and curves to remove these defects as I did. It's just the reduced time in manufacturing that causes it. But yes it's actual sanding marks left from. machine sanding the clear coat after spraying. Alan 👍🔔
AMDetails I thought it was but checking to be sure my knowledge is right, just seems like a hell of a lot of sanding and been like it a while as that’s a used car , crazy to think how the finish is on these high end cars 😳 Thankyou for taking the time to reply much appreciate to learn the right info. 👍🏻
Alan, what did you use to clean the leather? Got a Range Rover with Ivory leather and it suffers badly with dye transfer from getting in and out with jeans. Got loads of AM APC, but have not tried as I dont know if it would be too aggressive for leather.
Hey Alan, subscribed to your channel. Saw you at the rag company Q&A. These new compounds and polishes look tempting. I’ve been using menzerna for ages and just love the results. My existing supply is running low but wanted to know if you find these to be better than the menzerna line? I specifically use FG400 for nearly all cutting and super finish 4000(now known as 3500) to finish.
You made a really dazzling car. I'm doing the details in Korea. Your video is helping a lot. I ask for good videos from now on.
Thank you very much! 😎👍🔔

So when you say sander marks has someone actually sanded or is that from a pad not being flat on the panel ? Thanks

Who knows the history. But at least we now have the finish the customer wanted. ❤👊
