Is it hard to maintain an evertune and is it an issue going between tunings and string gauges? I apologize for my bad grammar
How would you compare this to the PRS Mark Holcomb 7 String SVN SIGNATURE? I have one and also have the Jackson HT6. I absolutely love my HT6. Debating on selling my PRS for this ET7, but wanted to get some more opinions before I did.
Sick review and sick guitar! I heard so many stories about the guitar coming in awful shape (damaged neck, paint in the caramelized spaces, etc) and also that the pickups are bad. Can you confirm this and is it worth it to buy this and maybe change to some Ragnaroks?
Do you notice any loss of sustain or resonance with the Evertune when compared to a guitar without it? I've heard some people say that their Evertune guitar has lost sustain and some power to the tone, and that makes some sense to me since you have to carve out so much of the body and the strings are technically floating on on the bridge end without connecting straight to the guitar. Is the difference noticeable?
Two questions. I know the nut is narrow for a 7. How did that affect playability. Arpeggios, string skips etc. Also, the neck is a thin U. How does it compare to other 7 necks like schecter, music man, Ibanez etc?
I have the 6 string model and I love it to death but I hate the tone I'm getting from it. Bridge position almost exclusively, tone open. I use a digitech drop and drop the tuning a lot. Every guitar I have does it just fine but for whatever reason this guitar, especially when dropped, sounds so metalic and bassy, almost like overly spanky. I've put fret wraps on, I've messed with the tone settings, tried fixing with EQ but nothing. Any advice?
Asking because I'm think of getting a high-end 7 string and this is a contender; how is the playability? Is there anything on it that you're like: "this feels like a cheaper guitar"

I got my Black Burst Burl version straight from EverTune during a sale last year for $1049. 🤯 Threw on some Hipshot O-Ring knobs, an old Dimarzio Blaze in the bridge and had a friend put stainless steel frets on it. Still well under 2k USD. Bargain, especially considering the EverTune and crazy smooth roasted neck.
@@toemasmeems Love it. One of my all-time favorite pickups. Not a super high output, but it's ch0nk city when it needs to be. I've used it in so many guitars over the years.

Simply put, I don't see a need for the super expensive USA models from any guitar brand. Nowadays, mid-range and low-range guitars are so good compared to back in the 90's and even the early 2000's that there isn't a massive difference in playability between USA and Indonesian guitars.
