Could you explain about linking NDI recording format SHQ2 codec with media composer, when I tried import it transcoded but in the source monitor it coming as green screen. Best Regards
This is not the solution. There is another way to make transcoding natively in Avid. I believe everyone knows what I'm talking about. But for me the subject is not that. If you are paying every month to use the AVID should not have any error when importing. Since the new Avid came out only given problems in my iMac. Basically, the best of the Avid. Frankly I do not know what the Avid people were thinking about doing an update of what it was for me the best program to edit videos. In something of tastes there is nothing written on stone, every day I am less Avid and more Adobe or DaVinci Resolve.
Juan, thankyou for your response. From my professionals perspective and + 25 years of using Avid there are always import issues with codecs and formats. I have spent decades in edit with Avid to be hit with a technical issue which I needed to find solution fast for the client. This video shows you one way to get round an issue importing and transcoding to native Avid media. There are other ways, but the demo shows you one way. A way in which helps you connect and use Resolve too. Personally I would love Avid to write code to solve these issues…. But in the mean time I need to find solutions…and on my channel I show you these ways that I’ve gained from 28 years in the industry Hope that makes sense. Best Mark
Hi Juan, and that’s cool. You don’t have to agree. The industry is complex with many high end apps that all have their own coders and ways of working. I’m fortunate to know many apps over many years and I attempt to show fast, or step by step demos in which I explain a route or process. There’s of course many… and over time I’ll make other demos which I’ll focus on something you may agree with. It’s all fine, and I wish you well. I love a debate and a good conversation about workflows so always happy to chat. As you’ve not added your avid ingest process I can’t really comment. @@claudiabTV No worries....It was something that some of my clients were struggling with and the transcode process just wasn't working in Avid 2021. You May notice Avid doesn't always do what it's told. But this video is a good demo to see what Resolve can do.

MC not working with mp4 is like Photoshop not working with jpegs...it's ridiculous and unacceptable.
Yep annoying....The Resolve transcode video I made is one way to sort that....shame we have to though
