Our president can be very diplomatic when needed. He could have strong armed Kim Jung Un which could have had serious consequences. But he chose to handle in a more tactful way that wouldn't cause harm and put lives at risk...a very intelligent president

This particular meeting only gave Kim Jong-Un credibility in international geo-political relations, and in domestic affairs within North Korea (wherein it was showcased to the people of North Korea that Kim Jong-Un was such a credible figure that he could attain a meeting with the president of the U.S.).
