That was so fun to watch! I have a few buckets full of spent casings......I'll probably be in the workshop all day today, cursing because I have no clue how to use any of those tools LOL Thanks so much for sharing how to make these!
Kevin Robinson I'm sure they may sell , but I wonder if you could do a cuff link...or no a better idea.... make it a stud in leather, like on a belt or a dog collar...would be nice...I'm Jon from Purlear
I just turned four 12 g brass into a set of doubled sided ear plugs (gauges) a few days ago....i used to put live pistol rounds when i had smaller sized holes since the ones that are specifically made for ear holes look shitty
Really neat little project Kev, it started me thinking about a project I did many years ago- maybe you could add it to up grade yours- like punch out the spent primer & add a LED (3mm) and make the back clasp part with button cell to light them up- Years ago I would make LED earrings that would light up -I would pass one leg of the LED through the hole & bend the other leg under the ear lobe and hold the LED and battery on with small piece of rubber tubing it looked great at night I made a bunch for my band members - at that time you could only get red LED's and they were not cheap like they are now- It was funny to see just all these little red lights moving around on the blacked out stage- I like the 9mm Luger printing on yours, I have both ears pierced and I think these would look AWESOME- Great Project my friend two thumbs up!!!!
I don't know how well this will work but it may help you. Put a large dab of your glue on something and use a small brush to avoid the overflow feom the tube. Hope 9t helps.
Kevin. The Washington County gun show is April 8-9. you should get a both and sell them there. my daughter said sell buy a pair. plus you'd be able to meet with some of your u tube followers. bring your camper would love to see it in person.
I heard that the piece in the middle is still live and can still explode if hit hard despite there being no gunpowder in them, a guy in different video said that it went off by mistake and he wasn't expecting anything to happen but it sounded loud and went right through his clothing and scared his arm. Despite this, I like your video and I have just subscribed to your channel and clicked the thumbs up too :-) Glen - Scotland, UK
Hi Kevin, can you tell me if what kind of mini lathe you have, there are two at harbor freight and they don't say metal central machinery is the brand 7 in x 12 n or 7 in by 10 inch

Have you tried removing the primer first? Then using a stone to fill the hole? Andrea

A suggestion for the 6000 glue. Put a dab on foil. Cap the 6000. Use a toothpick to apply the 6000 on the bullet end then put the 4mm jewel on
Thank you for the the info Rick.

Where did you get the stones please, I would like to make a couple sets for Christmas gifts.
All your craft stores should have them rather cheap hope this helps.
Hi Kevin, can you tell me if what kind of mini lathe you have, there are two at harbor freight and they don't say metal central machinery is the brand 7 in x 12 n or 7 in by 10 inch
This is my lathe studio.ua-cam.com/users/videon811Mn8DQEY/edit
What if you don't have that machine?
You could use a small belt sander it may work.
What was the name and model of the two machine used to hold and cut casing?
I have video of it ua-cam.com/video/n811Mn8DQEY/v-deo.html
Great video! How many sets have you given away? I'd like a pair for my wife in the light blue.
Email me kdr66882gmail.com

@@Robinson-Homestead Just did
Nothing is more stressful to watch than someone putting their fingers that close to the jaws of a lathe
Thanks for the comment glad you like it.
I would pay you just for the shiny shavings are you selling the earrings as well
Email me kdr6688@gmail.com
Thx u I will
How can I buy a plain set?
my email is at the end of video. Thanks Vickie
try using a CA glue, will be much easier.
Thank you.
Small amount of glue and then use a toothpick to apply
Thank you for the info.
Cool idea but considering the lathe is like $500-600 you would have to sell a lot just to break even!
Your right Erik that would be a lot of work.
❤️
Thanks
