- Every year, World Arthritis Day (WAD) is celebrated on October 12 to create awareness about the disease ‘Arthritis’. The theme of World Arthritis Day 2021 is “Don’t delay, connect today, it aims to control joint pains and stiffness, and improve or maintain the function and quality of life. There is a range of medications and some habits that can help to reduce the pains and protect joints from further damage. There are some treatments for the sake to control and reduce the risk of Arthritis i.e Medications, Non-Pharmacologic, therapies Physical or occupational therapy, Weight loss, Surgery including joint replacement, etc.

It's a good topic today.
I'm also Rheumatoid arthritis patient ,I feel much stiffness in my small joints, especially in morning time , then I consulted with Rheumatologist Saira Ali Khan in FMH& used many steroids like deltacortil ,HCQ 200 etc. I stopped that medicine b'coz there was no improvement n +ve response ,
I started hcq again due to high ESR R.A factor n CRP
Only one thing is keeping me pain free and satisfied that's the remembrance of Almighty Allah, recitation the Holy Qur'an and some exercises.
Van u share plz which type of e e exercise?

But, every patient has a different type of disease / Arthritis, so it is better to consult with rheumatologist at first , they will diagnose, what's the level of it and then start exercising as per the physician's advice.
