I was amazed at how they just allowed the duck to join in. He even got them to move over some when they crowded him to much. Brave goofy duck.😆 congratulations on the new babies; they are so adorable. Glad the chickens are doing better since you moved them. God bless
Great video. Your goats are so kind at the feed trough. My goats are a little overly aggressive. For increased fertility, I have read that you can "flush" your does before putting a buck in with them. It's basically bringing their body condition from a 2 to a 3 or 2.5 to 3.5. Corn is a good source to do this from what I understand. There are a few studies around, but I don't think that they are 100% conclusive due to the small numbers used in the studies. Keep us updated! We're in upstate NY and won't have our first kidding until April, but I'm prepping by watching yours and other's videos!
Research tells me no, in regard to if twin birthing changes, or as they get older. It does say feeding extra just prior to breading may increase the number of kids born. The most interesting read was: “It's possible for each goat kid in a multiple birth to have a different father if there are multiple bucks in the flock.” Thanks for sharing the newest baby😁😁😁 Hope your mother is doing well after her surgery🙏🙏🙏
Can't sleep so looking at property in your area. I have had it with the liberal states of Oregon and Washington. Caught your update on new babies. It is 5:11 am here
Feeding goats on the ground doesn't make sense to me. I could see sheep, who are predominantly grazers (ground eaters). But goats are predominantly browsers (above the shoulders). I haven't even fed hay on the ground. I am now, but that's because they chase the sheep off the hay and the ground is covered in snow. Have you thought about building your own feed troughs?
May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the animals and the homestead
That's some beautiful new babies. Glad you got the problem with the chickens figured out. GOD bless y'all.

I watch weedom and Reep, and they've been doing a new thing that you breed on the first sight of heat and it should give you more kids.

Sometimes they are good usually the run me over if I’m feeding from inside the fence
@@FowlerFamilyFarm Yeah, I need to get a spot where I don't have to stand on the same side that they eat from while feeding.

I think it's all on the does to determine the number of babies, but the bucks determine the gender. I think.
Definitely need another feeding trough.
Eddy fammy farm is having goats to.
Was it a New Bred of Goats 🐐 that Looks like a Duck 🦆??? 😂🤗🤠😎🥰 lol 😂
The Duckgoat
Maize: Feeding goats maize a few weeks before mating can increase the likelihood of multiple births. thats what I found
Need to look into that
👍🙏🏼❤️💪👏
what breed are your chickens??? We run buff brahmas on our ranch really like the setup you have!
We mainly have leghorns, barbed rocks and reds
@@FowlerFamilyFarm more for laying or meat birds?
Where are you located? Those babies are so adorable!!
Southern Oklahoma. Thanks for watching
Hey Myke, I have a question. Why do some of your goats have an ear tag and others don't?
That is such a great idea to keep the babies separate from everyone else
It’s the condition of the doe.

Do your goats have hay 24/7?
I still miss Crybaby
