I loved this soooo much *____* 23th is so undeserved for such a beautiful song with such a great singer :( This should be in the top 3! Greetings from Germany! :)
This is a superb song sung by a superb performer. Ireland would be worthy winners with this song in 2010. Greetings from a Eurovision fan in Sydney, Australia.
This is what Ireland does best. It is bound to be in the top. Niamh might very well be bringing back an ESC award to Ireland once again. Thumbs up from Denmark!!!
This is great, have listened to all available entries so far and is streets ahead!!! reckon it will be even better on the night. All the best Ms Kavanagh, reckon you have the one this year!!!!!!!!!!
Go girl go!!! Think this will do well. The best of the ballads and certainly the best voice in the competition. A good song and strong voice should do well. Wait for the night, it will be even better. Best of luck Niamh & co
Very good song, it somehow presents the Irish spirit, I can almost imagine the emerald green fields, Galway Bay and so on. Fantastic choice, Ireland! Good luck and best wishes from Bulgaria!
IRELAND FOREVER HOLDS MY HEART! we own the eurovision win record and we should always own it because eurovision is about music and voice not costumes funnyness and wat country is nearer to you! WE LOVE YOU NIAMH!
I really hope they'll get into the finals ^^ its a nice song, i looove it ^^ and its not just popmusic, its singing ^^ and i think that once was the reason why people won the grand prix d'eurovision ;D
Niamh you were grand!!! Mo sheacht ngrá thú! I voted for Ireland here in Germany, my wife did so in Poland. Unfortunately this didn't help, I wonder why ;-) ... No matter how the ESC ended, we both love this song. It's a pity that songs like this don't make it to the top any more. I am happy though that Germany won, so my country will host the ESC next year. We are looking forward to welcoming you here, Ireland! Fáilte Éire!
Really good Niamh! Definitely in with a shout of winning Eurovision this year. As long as the gets out of the semi final I think it could do really well!
Niamh can sing theres no questions about it, great voice. This is the sort of song that ireland used to win with in the 80s/90s. she will be good on the night. and its better than the song she actually won with before IMO.
brilliant song brilliant voice brilliant singer and brilliant singer, well done niamh your better than germany no matter what happend WELL DONE IRELAND
Great song Ireland! I love all songs you send (except the turkey :D) and every year I look forward to hear your song! I Love Irish music, you`re great! By the way I`m from Slovenia and we were part of Yugoslavia too but almost noone votes for us so we don`t have nothing to do with corruptin! I think this goes with former russian republics more! Great song anyway you`ve got my vote!
Go Niamh, Best entry Ireland's had in years......And in fairness Ireland have had most wins in Eurovision History so bring on NUMBER 8..... and even if Ireland doesn't win Sat night Niamh got Ireland out of those dreaded semi finals.....GO GIRL.....and good on you for going for it second time....BEST OF LUCK..xx
@Saffreon I totally agree. I'm from Northern Ireland and this was even way better than our's!! The song that won, I can't even and don't want to remember!!
It's a shame this song didn't get as many points as it deserved. I have to admit, I didn't think much of this song the first time round, but the more I listened to it, I realised how beautiful it was.
Good song. I am Macedonian and I don't get to hear a lot of these type of songs. But this song's chorus reminds me a lot to Old Mountain's Thyme. Does anyone else feel the same???
Es una música que podrías oir durante horas, seguro pasa a la final y a ver si llega alto, es de mis preferidas, y vá por 2º vez, ánimo y suerte Irlanda.
I don't care what she looks like, she sang this song beautifully, really strong voice. She should have come in the top 10. I know her dress did nothing for her but Eurovision is about singing songs not a fashion parade. So disappointed how few points she got. I give her **********and I would like to hear more of her singing her song on the radio station.
reland's best effort since Brian Kennedy. Niamh has the voice, experience and the x factor to pull it off. Keep it simple and the song will shine through . Good luck. Germany is good too. Its important that everyone enjoys the night for what it is.Good luck Niamh
Brilliant!!! if i had one suggestion it would be lose the backing singers!!! you dont need them Niamh!! go like Chiara for Malta last yea and go with you and a microphone on stage and you will blow them away!!! such a pleasure having you represent us again. i am sure you will do us proud!!! 17 years???who gives a fuzz a good voice is a good voice and if people across Europe have any sense the will reconise talent when they see it in May. besy of luck Niamh
@MrJcb09 ,god you have to be tone deff, thought she sang it so well, you could hear every word perfect, give it a chance, think it's our best song in years, tho I did like last years, they should have got to the final.
Second Victory ...I hope it for this great singer ! Eurovision is a song contest, not a dance or a Eastern-Europa Pin-up contest !!! Niamh in the history like Johnny Logan...12 points de la Belgique
'm so proud to be irish! why are people picking on little things like the style of her dress? who the fuck cares! She is amazing! that's all we need to care about!
The best of luck to you Niamh. We are in with a great chance this year. You're going to do us proud. My top 5 1. Croatia 2. Slovakia 3. Sweden 4. Iceland 5. Serbia Obviously I haven't put Ireland in there because we can't vote for ourselves, but the best of luck to you Niamh!
Second best song on Eurovision 2010 (after Ukraine). Really great song and great singer. Shame they weren't in top 5 at least. Some other songs were a disgrace and they had more points. 10/10
I was looking around to see if Justin Lee Collins' song got to the final 5 songs (written by Ronan Keating) and I really liked it but this song is great. I loved the penny whistle solo early on (reminded me a little of Titanic!) and I think it will do really well for Ireland. I will be rooting for it to get to the final even though my heart will be with Josh singing That Sounds Good To Me for the UK! :)
@brontedesk Ha ha sorry about the typo, still think this is our best chance to at least make the finals, maybe the top 5 but doubt we will ever win again. Chilax.
@markleahy Are you not up to date with Eurovision? Bloc voting is no longer a major issue because the voting is now split 50/50 between juries and televotes. Up until 2008 it was a major issue with 2008 and 2007 being the worst years for it by far. We have a great chance this year. It's become very popular around Europe and it's 5th favourite to win. It's very hard to predict what will actually happen this year though.
Thanks, to my dear friend, Paula - PollieHollie67 - for sending me this 'hot cup of tea' to help me feel better today. It was a nice surprise, and it helped. Hugz, David
This song has so much potential to be a winner - but lets not get our hopes up Ireland. Will eastern europe vote for it? Time will tell but win or loose its brilliant!
I'm from Germany and I voted for Niamh. She definitely deserved a much better place for her beautiful song, it's a pity.
Im Bosnian, but I love Ireland and this song has made me cry every time I listen to it, iti is just brilliant! I Hope Ireland win this year!
I loved this soooo much *____*
23th is so undeserved for such a beautiful song with such a great singer :(
This should be in the top 3!
Greetings from Germany! :)
This is a superb song sung by a superb performer. Ireland would be worthy winners with this song in 2010. Greetings from a Eurovision fan in Sydney, Australia.
She has a truly beautiful, rich voice! It makes me feel really... warm! That's as best as I can describe it ha ha This should have won!!
